Hello everyone, please I need detailed explanation of this finland application. I would appreciate if someone should list them for me, like the first step followed by second, third and the rest. Please I don't have much time on my side, those crew of read from the beginning should save me some time also.

1. Check www.studyinginfinland.fi for schools and programs.
2.Register and sit for an English language proficiency test ....IELTS, PTE or TOEFL....since you don't have time on your side, I will advise you sit for PTE Academic.
3.Process your transcript and get your university to send to UAF or the university depending on the school as stated in the program website.
4. Put together your application and send to the school before the deadline.

NB: This is for MSc aspirants. Also you need to take out sometime to read the thread from the beginning.

I used the materials on PTE's website and some videos on summary writing on youtube when i wrote the test in January 2015

If you have the financial resources and good writing and adequate typing skills as stated in my previous post.... register for PTE...practice for 2 weeks and write during the first week of January.

Don't be mislead.... Walkover for Mr. A might not be a walkover for Mr. B. Although PTE Academic seems quite simple and straight forward compared to the other English Language proficiency tests, you need to have very good writing and summarizing skills to help cover for the usual low speaking score as a result of accent/intonation.

You also need to have at least "average" typing speed as the PTE exam is conducted online and requires the use of a computer equipped with a microphone and speakers at the test venue.

Naija visa card no dey work for Finland portals o. I tried using my fidelity visa card to book for bus ticket in Helsinki and it was rejected. I tried to check my account balance in an ATM in joensuu but the machine kept rejecting my card. I don't know about master card. If you are frustrated in making d payment you can ask anybody in Finland to help you pay it

GTBANK Mastercard works fine in Finland and online. Although some merchants and online stores do not accept Nigerian atm cards.

Jon Jones is definitely one of the greats, just an all-round beast with no weak point of note.

I'd love to do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or Muay-Thai at some point, however alcohol will not let me be great. The takedowns and submission holds are some of the advantages wrestling gives you, however some of these guys are just lethal strikers. Just look at Velasquez and watch how he knocked Brock Lesnar and Big Nog into 2016 and that was in 2010 lol

It costs around 14K to send through DHL. It takes between 3 to 5 days using DHL.

If you have good writing and typing skills I will advise you to consider PTE Academic instead of IELTS. For PTE u get the result in less than 5 days and you can easily send to the school or UAF.

Yea. the fee covers all applications you wish make in one application period. i.e as many courses as possible with a single email address cox the email address is linked with the application fee. you dont need to pay another app fee, once you login with d registered email add, it will auto refer u to 'continue application' meaning that the email add has paid d fee.
As for d postal agency, am planning to by next week use EMS or Nipost cox UAF is nt a hidden address in Finland, documents must get there provided the earlier the better.

I don't know what you meant by hidden address, but I will advice that if you have the resources send "jejely" with DHL or UPS so you go fit sleep for night o.

Bros, Even for peeps living in Finland.... to study in international programs in English you need to write an English language proficiency test such as IELTS, TOEFL and PTE Academic. The only exception is if you have a bachelors in English Language or you have studied in top English speaking countries such as US, Britain, Canada and Australia.

The only way someone in Finland can render some assistance with the application is by assisting with sending of application documents to reduce cost (except transcripts that are to be sent directly by the university you graduated from) provided they have your documents which i think is not the case.

The application process can be conducted easily from Nigeria. If you have enough resources you can send using courier services such as DHL and UPS. If you are not so financially buoyant , start the application on time and send all documents using NIPOST registered mail or EMS Speedpost unfailingly by December.


Lastly, to prevent repetition on the thread it will be best for applicants to take out time to read through the thread.

Musa is way better than Depay. Depay has been useless for the better part of 4 months. I see no reason why we bought a player that is not materially better than the likes of Pereira and Januzaj. he can't beat a man to save his life. It is glaring that we need a deep lying playmaker or an agile box to box midfield as part of the double anchor in the midfield. Tieger and Morgan were both sterile attack-wise all through the match. Guardado was the best player in the heart of the midfield with breathtaking runs through the midfield.
