2sexi:From all indications, the domain should be BritishEbony dot com. Let's wait and see how this film will unfold. |
I think we are about to see a "dotcom saga" replay here. Those who have been here long enough will understand. Good luck to everyone. |
lanregidi:'Ebony' is a popular term used to describe the black porn niche. I just hope you are not dealing with an appraisal scam here. Even a guy that sells domains for $50,000 will hardly throw $1k as a first offer for a domain regged few days ago. Just take the offer if it is real. |
2sexi:LOL ![]() I think the first rule in selling domains should be: "thou shall not advertise your wares on NL." Why? People don't buy here. Everyone here is selling. |
2sexi:Wow! For two .net domains registered last month, those are great prices. In fact, excellent prices. The buyer is heavily spending on hemp names. They may be have the largest portfolio of hemp names in the nearest future. Were those names BIN or Make Offer? |
aragonbaba:Please tell me more about it. Who is more ignorant? The guy who will go to the venue and write the exam from his brain? Or the guy who thought he has some secret answer from a sc*mbag on NL? Even if both of them pass, the difference between them is as wide as Indian Ocean. You called the test "survival of the fittest," not survival of the cheatest. Are you going to sell them the "interview package" too? Only sc*mmers call a PDF file, scraped together from many of the free tests online, 'a package.' Please feel sorry for yourself. |
aragonbaba:SCAM ALERT!!! CALL HIM AT YOUR OWN RISK |
Goodnuel:What's 042? I just tagged 042 to my name when I was registering my NL account in 2008 since "Oladayo" has been used as a username in 2005. |
Just sold G-A-S-I-X doty COM on BrandBucket low $XX,XX |
2sExy1:2sexy baba! I see say u dey find how to open Ghana bank account for escrow. E be like say na every week you dey sell one domain now. Abeg show ur boy the way na. |
Kennywills7:who told you 'she' is a girl. anyone can claim to be anything here. |
To everyone that I promised to gather some links for, I'm sorry I've not been able to do that. My internet sub expired some few days ago and I've not been able to work on my laptop since then. I will gather those links as soon as I'm back on PC. Regards. |
xkunzo:There is no such thing as urgent buyer. |
muhammedbilal:While I believe in sharing information, I also believe that people deserve to get paid in exchange for the value they offer. If 2Sexy offer his unique viewpoint on domain name business (value) gathered over many years of experience (and spending), and painstakingly compiled it into an ebook, I think he deserves a token in compensation for his effort. The same is true for many textbooks out there. I can learn a great deal on Financial Management on many blogs and forums online but that does not mean the guy who compiled his own unique viewpoint on Financial Management into an ebook and put it up on Amazon Kindle Publishing does not deserve the proceeds from the book. Note: I am not asking you to buy anything. I'm just explaining why people may decide to put up their own viewpoint for a price. Like I have said before, I will find enough info that I feel will be beneficial to those who want to enter this business and I will point them to you. I was a newbie like you one-and-a-half years ago and this business has been very profitable for me. Have a nice day. |
BJ4REEL:A year has gone now and renewal is around the corner for those who bought into the hype. If you see how some of them are trying to dispose their nGTlDs on Flippa, you will pity them. Though change and innovation is good, it is sometimes better to stay with what has worked and is still working. This is one of such cases. |
Where is @madridfc? I hope it is just NYSC that has taken you away from here. When @2sexy and I were serving too, NL seriously had to wait, especially when you are in a village with poor gsm network. |
sainturch:No, you do not need a website. You can list your domains on various marketplaces available. |
fighal:Ok then. I will find you links to what I feel you should read when I get on my PC. Anyway, I do not think there is a Nigerian perspective to domaining. When you are participating in an industry that the whole wide world is participating in, you have to learn and act like a 'global citizen.' |
fighal:Read, read, and read. It is easier to answer questions that you have on specific issues than to be teaching (read spoon-feeding) you from the scratch. Read the first few pages of this thread. Understand what makes a domain name valuable. Google those things you do not understand. If you still don't understand some things, come here and the good people here will explain to you, to the best of their knowledge. This answer also applies to those who have been mailing me. |
I hope nobody from NL bought into the nGTLDs hype. The news I'm reading about them is not so good. |
Chibenze:Congrats Chibenze. You are on a streak. More of this for everyone in Jesus name. |
Chimarto:Are you sure JPEG is larger than PNG is size? It has always been the opposite for me. With the same image, PNG would be larger than JPEG in size. |
otimize:Like I said before, take the practice test. You don't have to take both Verbal and Numerical on the same day. If you are done with your preparation for Verbal, take the assessment so that you can access the Numerical practice test to get an idea of what to expect. You can also practice at PracticeAptitudeTests.com. I would have loved to tell you more but I don't want to run foul of "SHL Responsibilities". |
issylarry:I don't understand you sir. I think you quoted the wrong guy in a wrong thread. |
jamanuka:Log in to your test portal as if you want to take the assessment. You will see a link for Practice. The test username and password won't work on the Practice link in the email. |
sureguy02:No. It was stated in the instructions that your results will be sent to the employer. |
I have done the test. For those asking for hints, just take the practice test before the assessment itself. The type of questions in the practice test is not different from the ones in the real assessment. Good luck everyone. |
RIP Let's see the first pastor to claim he prophesied this. |
slimz10:Yes, the test is taken only in Lagos. |

agabusta:Just like you said in that bolded part, INEC asked for educational qualification with dates. This is a link to Form CF001 filled by all aspirants: http://www.inecnigeria.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/FORM-CF001-PERSONAL-PARTICULARS-30.11.10.pdf Now tell me what you would have filled in Section C of this form. I have tried to no avail to find a completed form by one of the aspirants. I still can't believe that 17 'educated' aspirants will just write "B.Sc. (1992) or Ph.D. (1995)" in that Section C without putting disciplines. If they included it, why did INEC not publish it like they did for Jonathan and Sambo? |
agabusta:You'll notice that I included this as an probable excuse too. It just doesn't sound plausible that the 17 aspirants with Bachelors degree and above will just fill in "B. Sc., B. A., M. Sc., Ph. D." without putting disciplines (Mechanical Engineering, Geology, etc.), unless they are ashamed of their disciplines. Since there is a space in the form for disciplines, which only Jonathan and Sambo proudly filled, how come the other 17 aspirants did not fill it? Since a copy of their certificate (which states their disciplines) is with INEC, how come the 17 'educated' non-incumbent aspirants did not fill in their disciplines into the form? I still can't believe they did not fill in their disciplines. |
