Crokz is not, in any way, pronounceable. Crocs? Croks? Crocz?

Pronounceable means people can spell it right the first time if they hear the name over the phone or on radio e.g. Venza, Prada, etc.

I am sure no sales platform will pay out such a small amount. It costs money (Paypal charges) for Afternic to send you money.

Registered twice. First account was closed because I opened it from a non-Nigerian IP. Second account was closed too and I contacted them through the 'Contact Us' on their website using another email address (if you use the email of the account that was closed, it won't work). They reopened the account. Been using it since January 2014.

Use HosterStats dot com. It will show you how many times a domain has been previously registered even when Archive dot org has no such data.

The previous owner listed it on both sites and did not remove it after the name expired. You will have to mail Afternic and Sedo to remove the old listing as you are now the new owner.

I'm still a domainer but there's no time for full-time domaining for me again. I've already selected the domains that I want for auto-renew and all my 'domaining' now runs on auto-pilot. In fact, one of my domains auto-renewed on GoDaddy today.

I won't be able to search for domains to hand reg again though I'm on the lookout for excellent buys ($$$ or above), purely from an investment perspective.

I'm sorry for not coming around as much as I would like to. When you wake up at 5am and get back home from work at 10pm, NL would be the last thing on your mind. :-)

I believe 2sex has done justice to what makes L+Word valuable. After seeing L+Word sell for good figures at a point in my 'domaining career', I researched into what L+Words are available and bought few of them. The idea behind them is that the 'L' could mean different things to different people thereby widening up your potential user base.

I bought FWines dot com last year and sold it for $500 in less than six months. To me, 'F Wines' could mean 'French Wines,' 'Fortified Wines,' 'Fruit Wines,' etc but to some guy living in another part of the world, it could mean something entirely different that I've never thought of e.g 'Fred's Wines,' 'First Wines,' etc.

So there is a high probability that the name will sell if the 'Word' is solid. Let the 'word' be a very valuable keyword (preferably a generic product name) that many businesses use in their name.

It's been on my mind to answer this question for days now but I've been very busy. I hope others who are in a similar situation would find the answer useful.

Filling Paypal Payment Details on Auction Sites
In its early days, Paypal made it possible to send money to any email address (including those not registered on Paypal) to drive user adoption. Paypal will just notify the owner of the email to register on Paypal or link the unregistered email to their Paypal account to claim their money. This feature is still available today and that is what I use on all sites where I could receive funds using Paypal. To receive money using Paypal on any site, follow these steps:

1. When asked for Paypal email on any site, enter one of your email addresses that is not currently linked to Paypal. Please ensure that you use an email you don't do much with cos you don't want to use an email that the email provider can close anytime for sending too many messages spam.

2. Whenever you get paid on that email, Paypal will notify you and you can give the email address to one of the exchangers to claim your money and send you your cash. If Nigeria's paypal account gets upgraded to be able to receive funds before that time, you can claim your money yourself.

If you see the inbox of my email address dedicated to Paypal, you'll see a lot of "You've got money" from Paypal even though I don't have a Paypal account. After claiming the money, I ask the exchangers to delete 'my email' from their Paypal account and the cycle goes back to the beginning.

I'll also advise you not to use the email address of any exchanger as your Paypal email cos they get 'limitations' too and the email they are using now may not be what they will be using in the nearby future.

debacles.com has been registered since 2000 that a whooping 15years considering a renewal yearly fee of $10 that $1500 and it sold for $423 after 15 years, for me I wouldn't take the risk.

$10 x 15 years is equal to $150 and not $1500.
