For now from here only IT analysts have heard back and its for a skills test not interview. Wonder if they want to be done with the tests and procurements 2nd round before finance analysts interview, from this thread I remember the graduate engineers waited for a while after their tests when experienced interviews were going on.

I've been on BB since 2013 and I have 14 names there presently. In my entire BB career, I sold one name in 2015 and another one in 2016. It seems the domain god can only grant me one BB sale per year so I'm still waiting for my 2017 sale.

If you are starting out today, BB may not be the best route. Like you noted above, quality names will sell with or without BB. So why give away 30-40% of your sale price when you have quality names that can sell on their own?

You have to buy a domain name to register an account with them. Just go through their domain registration process and you will get to a page where you can select either 'existing account' or 'new account.'

Dotster is selling .com for $1.99.

Coupon code AFF15 can bring it down to $1.69.

Get all the .com you want to get for cheap. It is better to learn in an inexpensive way than to invest $9 per domain in names that may never sell.

You can set up a Payoneer Escrow for your buyer to pay and receive the funds on your Payoneer account.

Many of the barriers in this business are disappearing. Anyone who was here in 2013 can tell you how difficult some things were during that time.

Please why do you think Skrill is particularly popular with importers? Is it much more acceptable in China?

I see a lot of them asking for it and even exchangers pay more to buy Skrill dollars than they do for Paypal and Payoneer.

Baba, I still dey BB o. I have 10 names there and have seen no action there since my last sale in February 2015. It's now harder to compete with 35,000 names. Next Monday will mark my 3rd year on BB.

My email still remains the same.

KeystoneBank dot com (not mine) sold for $1225 yesterday on GoDaddy.

It doesn't look like the bank is the buyer and that is so unfortunate, for a bank with N307b in assets (as at 2012) and given that the 1997-registered name sold for less than N500k.

The bank's domain name KeystoneBankNG dot com was registered in 2011. The shorter version would have been nicer, especially for the sake of the all-important internet banking competition by Nigerian banks. Nigerian businesses need to see domain names as part of their business strategy.

Hi guys. Just to update you all of the new discovery i saw. Now you can get real value for your cash without selling cheap to exchangers.
Currently paypal fund are sold to business people at 330 per $,
skrill at 335 to 340 per $
Neteller at 335 to 340 per $ etc.

But exchanges will buy them very low from you guys, funny i am also a part time exchanger and would also buy very low from you lol.
But now you can get real value for your dollar using this proccess i discover. I was able to let few people know but know i want to make it general and i want you to share it to all domainers in 9ja.

First paypal is a big issue to many of us because of their restriction (we can not receive fund) which has made many of us frustrated and relying to paypal exchangers who buy our fund so cheap .
I met one who quoted around 240 per $ for my paypal fund infact assuming i have a gun na to just shot eh head better (am joking oh).

Now straight to the point: i negotiated and concluded a deal with an buyer for my domain, i decided to use bido.com for the transaction buyer paid via paypal and i transfer the domain to him finalise the transaction and was about to request withdrawal to my paypal (yes i have my own paypal ). Only to see skrill as a withdrawer payment too. Well i decided to test it, i rush immediately open a skrill account and proceed the withdrawer via skrill after two days i got a notification from skrill that the cool dollar has arrive .

Guess what? I sold the skrill the next day directly to the business people (importers & exporters) lol . I got the real value for my fund sold it very high.

Now you can get the real value of your fund. Do not sale to an exchanger again. Get the real value for your dollar.

The way the exchanger system works always ensure that we domainers are at the losing end. Imagine buying a domain at $50 and selling at $100 - on the paper, you have made profit but after deducting sales platform commission and buying that $50 from bank at N370 and selling that $100 to exchangers at N270 or slightly higher, you have made pennies (or even lost money) on that transaction. This is mainly why I don't do lower end deals like this.

I will give Skrill a try.

Dropcatch caught the domain name and just auctioned it for $5,050. There's no way you could have backordered the domain for $69 and win it at that price.

I am not sure any bank pay out dollars from dom account. @Chibenze used the same route few weeks ago and the bank paid him using the official exchange rate - NGN199/USD.

no real trick. I switched to brandable domains a couple of months ago. I registered with brandbucket to get clues on what type of domains they accept as brandables, I started registering brandable names and submitting them to brandbucket , I have about 80% acceptance rate. after the acceptance I either auction the names on namepros or contact some brandables investors.
I always keep the names I like.

Edmonton Life Insurance cometh is my first sale for the year, bringing all to 5th sale since staging a come back about 3 weeks ago and there is possibility of another sale but I am not sure yet except I get a reply from end users to know if they accept my price or counter.
