Joe Igbokwe was just answering an online interview on the spot and thought he can be a party man by saying it was a bad business. What should he have said?

Igbokwe is just a spokesperson of the ACN and is not a party to the transaction. So normally that is what he would have said.

At least I’ve shown the bank documents and what they included we in their statement as part of the sale. What evidence can you at least show besides this Igbokwe online brief interview and the PDP opposition statement I read in the link you provided.

The main crux is that Tinubu had nothing to do with this as against what Sahara Reporters claimed in your earlier reply, LASG didn't spend or lose a kobo of tax payers money, and there is no reason to believe that the LASG did anything wrong. The only thing the LASG did, was to provide land and docking space for the boat in return for partial ownership.

You and SaharaReporter will have to show some evidence to that give credence to the fact that Tinubu has a hand in the yacht in conjunction with the LASG.

Quite fine, I haven't gone beyond my street before let alone getting to the airport but give yourself an honest answer to these: Is the Lekki/Ikoyi link bridge mediocrity? Is the bus terminal at oshodi mediocrity? Is Five Cowry jetty at Falomo mediocrity? Is the BRT system mediocrity? is the lightrail and SGR system mediocrity? What actually is the definition of mediocrity? Or d'you care to expantiate why these named facilities are one?
Trust me if any of the mentioned facilities had been uprooted and planted in that state/city/country you've got in mind, it would still have look classic in the environment but the inferiority complex of the black mind and/or hate on another blackman ('s thing) would not let them see the good in what they have around them. Of course, we know Lagos like most African cities have a long way to go but that doesn't mean we must not commend the little being done which is commendable by their financial capability.
London had been a $500b economy for a long time, New York a little more while Lagos you want to compare with them has just grown its own above $100b with more people to cater for than London, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, barcelona, even Joburg (all of which has bigger economy) and a tiny landmass when compared with New York.
have you been to oyingbo, ikorodu.epe.mushin.bariga.ejigbo.makoko.agege ,ajegunle, badagry and several other parts of Lagos I haven't been able to mention?
Lagos Is worse than mediocrity, its an overrated piece of shit.
I mean..can't believe a sane human being without taking the past history of Lagos in to contention will be defending d shenanigans of a single man turning d state into a vasal of himself and his cronies..
what is happening in Lagos is d definition of modern day slavery

Careful, bro. Check back what I wrote without emotion this time: the infrastructures get overwhelmed because of the number of population feeding on them. And of course, that doesn't mean it's not developing more infrastructures. More bridges had been built (some ongoing and some in the pipeline), more roads had been built (some ongoing and some in the pipeline), more medical facilities built, transportation systems improved to meet the modern standard (Remember, it's the first state to implement the BRT system in Africa, creation of numerous bus stations and lay-byes, creation of waterway transport that was not available back in the days, creation of modern jetty stations to standardize the process), returning the focus of the state towards agriculture with infrastructure to sustain the growth, remodelling the rail system to meet the modern standard (something that was degressed to an abysmal low when the state was the capital), creation of platforms that shoots the state financial prowess from a meagre one to a mighty substance amongst others.
Like I pointed in the other post, the problem has largely been the overpopulation of the state. With the lots of infrstructure in the state, it should be doing well if the population had been moderate or better still, if it has the landmass which would've meant there will be no much density in a given area to overwhelm the facilities available.
They are low in medical facilities but recently, we have seen improvement. Yet, that doesn't mean it doesn't havee the best/one of the best facilities in rthe country hence the reason why most prominent member of the society fly into the state for medical attention when the world was on lock down.
PS: And it's not just development on paper like you pointed. I don't care to know where you're living in the state (unless you're typing from your region), step outside and all or most of these facilities will be staring at you in their glorious view. Lagos hasn't gotten to where it should be but the development is commendable hence the reason why it still remain in all the developmental indices of world cities from reputable sources as the best in Nigeria.

Just getting this mention. Litigation is the most stressful and least lucrative aspect of law in Nigeria, especially for fresh lawyers.
The way out is having a side hustle to augment the meager fees you get.

I always tell young Lawyers at every chance I get,
If you want to see money early in life after graduation, law practice isn't for you! Since you are fresh out of law school, you can give legal practice a shot. If the law thing is not working for you...you may need to look elsewhere.

Most of the illiterate traders and hustlers calling you “the law” and shaking you with two hands, make in a day an amount that's 5 times more than what you can make in a month. If you must practice, find a side hustle to generate more income.
Law is like Pot belly. It’s supposed to be prestigious, but the poverty rate of lawyers is just too alarming to take pride in being one nowadays.

The people making it are those with good contacts /connections, senior lawyers that have had their fair share of suffering and the extremely lucky ones who get good briefs a few years after they are called to bar.

But before you unlock your money level in law,all you have is an NBA sticker and the “Do you know who I am” line.

thank u very much ma'am..
I was one of those people that does make snide remarks at u then, because I was naive and not knowing everything u spoke of is true..Time has proven u right.
I'm now a final year law student and I have seen the abject reality.
most young lawyers I know are full of regrets.

My dear if you have opportunity to travel to Canada please do so. You are below 30 years and you have the opportunity to start all over again when you migrate to Canada. Go there and switch over to medical line( nursing, dental technician, radiography, pharmacy technician are less tasking options to consider) or go for IT course.
Nigeria no longer makes sense these days unless you want to start your own chamber after school or you want to go fully into business.
My advice is simple, travel now that you are still young and switch career line.
thanks for our advice sir

the visa officer will want to know what are your prospects in Nigeria to determine if you are a genuine student or someone looking to flee. Travel out now. You can go back to law school anytime you wish to become a lawyer in Nigeria.

Coming from a lawyer who had your kind of chance but blew it cuz it was easier to migrate to Canada then than now.

It is hard to relocate to Canada now except you have means to pay full tuition through student visa.

You should be ready to survive on menial jobs in canada but it's always better than being a underpaid unfulfilled lawyer.
thank u

Nw back to your question, you have parent that are ready to sponsor you then this shouldn't be a problem, but one thing you should know is Canada isn't all that,if you still study stupid course you might end up a factory worker or a security man,so my advice is dnt spend millions doing all these stupid course! If possible switch to computing(IT related) or medical.

You should grab this opportunity as long as you have the financial aid.

Good day my people, pls I need your advise on an issue that has been bothering me for some time now.
I am 26 years old,and I'm a final year student of a Faculty of Law in one of the SW Universities, was in fact writing final exams before covid struck and we had to go home as our examinations was suspended.
Everyone knows after leaving the faculty,we shall proceed to the Nigerian Law School onwards, however I'm thinking of shelving the idea of going to the Nigerian Law school.
Some of the things I have seen for myself while doing chamber attachment are undescribable, it made me sometimes question studying this course, most of the young lawyers I know are extremely miserable, broke and poor,a lot are really depressed and dying inside, and some of the stories our former senior colleagues do tell us about the profession is frightening and scary. The pay is so pitiful and extremely poor, the old lawyers treating young wigs as slaves and like shit and so many unpalatable things most young lawyers have to endure.
Because of all these I'm considering shelving totally the idea of Law school, travelling and migrating abroad(I'm considering Canada) since funding for the travelling will not be a big problem for me...as long as I can convince my parents( though will not be that easy)
however I'm confused and I need advise....
thank you.

I know a few tailors but they’re white. They usually struggle to get jobs because you can’t make clothes and sell to people individually. People won’t buy them. The tailors make clothes and offer samples to clothing companies who can either buy them or reject them. That is a long shot. But I think it would be creative to make African clothes and have them sold in stores.
A lot of it has to do with the quality of material. So be ready to spend a lot of money on good material. No store will sell your product if it’s trash.
thank u Dan man, actually also meant African trado or casual clothes..
thanks for kind response
Travel / Re: Being Black In Berlin/germany by Oladeji245(m): 11:52pm On Jul 02, 2020
Danielhouston:
Alexanderplatz has a reputation for being the “jobless people” chill center. People call it that because a lot of Syrian refugees usually hang out there every day and it is assumed that they don’t have jobs. It is also where you’ll find the African guys who just landed in Berlin, shopping and taking pictures.

This is also a common meeting point for a lot of friends because it is easy to explain and it is centralized with transportation. If you want to catch up with friends, you can all just agree to meet there and go somewhere else. You normally won’t find a nice bar or restaurant to hang out there, as it is too touristic and everyone is on the move.

It is a blessed haven for street performers, especially musicians. A lot of musicians have made names for themselves, from performing at this place, on the street. Just do your thing and put a box in front of you for people to give you money. Yes, artists can make money there. Even if your music sounds like sh*t, you will always have a crowd of people watching you, because they have nothing else to do.

There have been crimes there in the past, for that reason, a small police station was built right in the middle. The police don’t disturb anybody and they don’t even look at you. They’re only there to prevent crimes. Occasionally, they can stop the street performers when they get too noisy or pull too much crowd.

Alexanderplatz is also where you’ll find Primark. Primark is a cheap shopping store and they sell almost everything. You can buy jeans for €12 and other nice clothes. You can buy a nice shoe for as low as €7 in Primark and it will look really good. Only thing is, you might see 100 other people wearing the same thing.
So if your brother or sister returns from Germany and they bought lots of clothes, just check the label. If it says “made in Indonesia” or “made in India”, they bought it from Primark.

You can walk from Alexanderplatz to other places like Brandenburger Tor, Friedrichstr, Hackescher Markt, etc. It is very big and beautiful. You can just hang out there all day and never get bored.
There is almost everything you need there, including gym, electronic store, shoe store, sports stores, malls, and a bus to Hamburg for just €10.
does someone who learnt tailoring has hope in germany?
