Don't mind dumb IPOBians. Always commmenting on Yoruba issues when they don't understand the people or the region.

Of course ambitious Yorubas who feel belittled or threathened by Tinubu's efficiency and political brilliance will fight him.

Was it different for Awolowo or Abiola? Does that mean Yorubas in general hated Awolowo or Abiola? IPOBians would have to explain why Tinubu can command the loyalty and respect of thugs and Professors alike whereas all his enemies are not capable of such.
nope, its SW Apc issues, not yoruba issues.

Politics / Re: Buhari Has Done Well In Power Supply, Security –FG by Oladeji245(m): 3:59pm On May 29, 2020
Omooba77:
The Federal Government on Friday said the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has put the country on an irreversible road to development in the last one year.

It said the country had never witnessed such positive steps in a short time.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, stated these in Abuja at a press conference to mark the first year of Buhari’s second term in office.

He said, “The past one year has been momentous for Nigeria, as the President has taken some actions, mostly bold and highly visionary, that have now put Nigeria on an irreversible road to sustainable development.

“Never in the history of Nigeria have so many positive steps been taken in so short a time as Mr. President has done in the past one year.”

The minister listed some of the gains of the administration as power supply, food sufficiency, enhanced security, increased revenue, infrastructural development among others.

Grayoso:

Totally agree. Smart people know these Northerners are only trying to console themselves because they are aware of the negative perception, correct for the most part, Southerners have of them. Are we supposed to envy them because of pixtures of rich, spoilt and insensitive brats?

Northerners here can show 20 million of these 'balling' pictures if they want. Their conduct is childish and insensitive because it does not change the fact that these pictures only show how callous and shamelessly elitist most rich and privileged Northerners are .

Flaunting garish wealth in a region hosting 87% of the most poverty ridden people in Nigeria just shows how shallow rich and privileged Northerners are and how deep the problems of the North run. How a very small number of ruling class people can be so hideously capitalist in the region of the world perhaps most needy of urgent welfarist intervention is beyond me.

I would rather be averagely comfortable so others around me can be too. I certainly would not want to be the cause of their poverty and deprivation.

When I drive though Lagos deeply uncomfortable at the poverty I see, I wonder what drives these Northerners posting these pictures here and boasting about their garish display of wealth considering excruciating poverty and deprivation is all around them.

Good from Osinbajo and his team but must Nigeria only become active after a crisis? Why are we never proactive in delivering solutions? Especially those solutions that are critical to the growth and development of Nigeria?

Our legislators are complaining that Nigeria may not have adequate power supply for the next 10 years if we persevere with the incompetent crooks GEJ sold us out to all in the name of power sector privatization.

Why do we then allow that deplorable impasse to continue? Why not find a way to move forward since the provision of adequate power is far more important to the economy and people of Nigeria than the interest of a few corrupt allies of GEJ?

I would want to hope results will be achieved this time as this is getting tiring.

Lol. That IPOB brat is so dumb. The OBJ he idolized was the same man who undemocratically sought a third term in office as President. Of all the things a Nigerian President can try that is worst because it relegates Nigeria to a banana Republic where some Mugabe-type think they must rule forever.

We won't even go into OBJ's many, many examples of abuse of power that was not really different to Abacha-type disregard for human rights and even basic decency.

Just read the article below that chronicles the 1 to 49 wrongdoings of the monster called OBJ. You will know he back-stabbed, deliberately undermined and tried to sabotage every prominent Yoruba leader he felt would/could outshine him from Awolowo to Abiola, Tinubu, Fawehinmi and even the likes of Soyinka. OBJ specialized in trying to eliminate and treacherously destroy every great Yoruba so he appears the last worthy Yoruba standing unchallenged.

We all know only IPOBians worship worthless Yorubas (OBJ, FFK, Fayose, Saraki etal) while having a problem with Omoluabis like Awolowo, Tinubu, Osinbajo, Abiola, Soyinka, Fawehinmi etal.

i don't know what to say but most people don't think beyond their situation that's why we're like this nothing fruitful coming out from here/being a Nigerian. firstly yorubas should be more concerned about leaving nigeria or better still restructuring this country in such a way it would be like Great Britain, where we only unite for simple things like military and other stuffs but our laws, policies , are effectively controlled by us. why? you may ask but there are estimated 40million yorubas worldwide which is more than the population of most countries on earth, we've a religion and custom that is practiced worldwide, our neighbors the benin republic almost 30% of the population are yorubas and more than 30% of the lands are yoruba land with the capital (portonovo) also our lands. what should that tell you we owe it to the millions of yorubas worldwide to have an homeland we can call home not scattered like the Kurdish people who have live to regrets those actions taken cause they're now slaves in their lands. so also we need to form our unique identity forget about nigeria we're a construct of a white man to keep the people here from achieving true success so we can continually beg them, the truth is nigeria can't work. we need a country as yoruba people to be able to propagate our religion our customs, history, arts and talents to the rest of the world safely without anyone saying no it would affects the igbo people or the hausa people so we should wait thereby loosing ourselves cause of someone else's mistakes you need to understand this, there are dozens of yoruba citizens in south America who went as slaves and would like to come home but can't due to there is no place they call home truthfully they can't call yorubas home we need this new country cause yorubas develop better on their own
