It seems we are too used to Nigeria's prasie singing journalism.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Aregbesola Declared Governor Of Osun State by olafolarin(m): 1:18pm On Nov 27, 2010
GEJ must also get the credit for allowing the Judiciary to do its job.
OBJ wont have allowed that.

Oyinlola will never be given the Senatorial slot instead he will at most be given a free slot
in Kirikiri Prison Senatorial District.

ACN will take over the entire state considering the massive failure recorded by Oyinlola for his almost
8 years rule.
To add salt to injury,he recently borrowed N18Billion from some banks at the twilight of his tenure hereby
mortgaging the future of the state.

Really?
How come Kano has 44 Local Governments compared to Lagos State's 20?
Talk about politics of deprivation.
PoliticsRe: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by olafolarin(m): 5:40pm On Nov 22, 2010
This just made things easier for GEJ and the opposition in particular.

Atiku will fall flat on his face.
PoliticsRe: Sahara Reporters Interviews Fashola, Watch Video by olafolarin(m): 8:48am On Nov 22, 2010
Fahola did a great job.
he answered every question professionally and listed off-hand the roads constructed in Ayobo.
SR cant expect fashola to answer questions on corruption without presetning hard facts.
Sowore did a terrible job at the end of the interview.

How many of us making comments here were even up to age 10 when he left in 1993? After the Holocaust, the Germans and the Jews are friends today.
They are both silent enemies.
IBB is a great disaster to Nigeria and it is time he keeps to himself.
He will never see Presidency again,

PoliticsRe: Lagos Has Built More Roads Than Ghana, Sierra Leone-fashola by olafolarin(m): 12:11pm On Nov 13, 2010
akyns:
Ghana has a population of 23 million people.

Sierra-Leone has a population of 6.5 million people.

Lagos, by conservative estimates, has a population of 25 million so shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked its only logical that we'll need more roads.

Let Fashola find something berra to do(if he indeed made that comment).
Lagos by every calculation is less than 18 million people.
Get your stats right.

Find below their Yoruba instigated report:

http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Money/Finance/5641302-146/auditors_report_indicts_former_exchange_leaders.csp

The report on the affairs of the Nigerian Stock Exchange under the immediate past director general, Ndi Okereke-Onyuike is out, though unofficially. Commissioned by the Securities and Exchange Commission, in response to a petition by a former president of the Exchange Council, it detailed in clear terms many excesses that characterized Ms. Okereke-onyuike's tenure.

Authored by KPMG( Most of their staff are  Yoruba),Really? an audit firm and Aluko Oyebode & Co., a legal firm, and dated September 29, the 41-page report chronicled some putrid actions of the Exchange. Among these is the fact that the Exchange spent N186 million on Rolex watches for its staff in 2008 for presentation to employees who had served the Exchange for 10 years. Interestingly, the report revealed that only 73 out of the 165 Rolex watches were actually presented to the awardees meaning that 92, valued at N99.5 million remain unaccounted for. "We observed that the gifts awarded/presented far exceeded the value stated in the staff handbook," the report noted.

Also, the report said, "Our investigation so far reveals that the following allegations may have merit: Total expenses of the NSE are too high, 2006 to 2008 expenses consumed more than 80 per cent of income/undisciplined spending and financial imprudence; That there has been sharing of money among council members, That the sum of N400 million were paid to the past president of the Council, That wages, training and IT expenses were overstated."

Tinubu should be thrown into a cell. Thief angry
For what offence?

So what should happen to OBJ,Atiku,IBB,saraki,GEJ and his wife,Akala,Ttheodore Orji,Orji Uzor kalu, etc
Compared to the afforementioned,Tinubu is a saint.

EzeUche0:
Any Northern leader who wants to think about the presidency will need an Igbo VP. It is as simple as that.
In your dreams Or maybe in PDP,

ACN is not even thinking in that direction right now.The closest they have is Donald Duke bringing his LP to join ACN for the presidency Polls.

Tinubu has all the aces now to work with the best opposition candidate.Either Buhari or Ribadu with a southern Progressive will suffice.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu’s Presidential Bid In Trouble by olafolarin(m): 9:07pm On Nov 08, 2010
It is all speculations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Consultations is ongoing and Nobody promise Ribadu sole Presidential ticket of ACN.
Ribadu knew he will still have to contend with other aspirants in the Party.
PoliticsRe: S’west Must Remain In Nigeria’s Mainstream Politics – Nwodo ! by olafolarin(m): 10:33am On Nov 08, 2010
Nwodo is just being used probably to subvert the wishes of the Osun People.
Oyinlola knew without doubt that he didnt win the 2007 elections and as such is
using Nwodo to seek GEJ's assistance in pre-empting the decision of the Appeal Court.
It is a desperate attempt by oyinlola and his co-travellers to retain at all cost their stolen mandate.
The same stupid Nwodo who promised to declare Civil war if June 12 election results is declared.
The same election thats the freeest in the history of Nigeria.

PDP has been a great disappointment to the entire SouthWest and the region now know better.
SW is very progressive that will never allow the likes of akala,Oyinloola and Segun Oni to rule any state
but for OBJ's politics of do or die.
SW will return to its progressive page in 2011 with ACN as the vehicle.
PoliticsRe: Olurin, Rasaq Storm Ogun Over Daniel’s Seat ! by olafolarin(m): 11:28am On Nov 04, 2010

Onlytruth:
So, Abiola sponsored IBB's coup? Not that I didn't know.
So how did he expect to gain from that perfidy? He who go to equity must go with clean hands. The rest is history.
he sponsored the Coup partly to instal his Boy and greatest beneficiary of his largesse and also to
sideline Idiagbon who promised to Probe Abiola's past deals with the FG.
PoliticsRe: Who Financed Ibb's Coup? by olafolarin(m): 7:07pm On Nov 02, 2010
MKO Abiola financed IBB's Coup with around $10-15 Million .

IBB himself gave a little scoup into it on late Simbiat Abiola's birthday when he declared that
if not for Abiola's believe in him and his largesse,he will never become Military President.

They are very stable
PoliticsRe: What Do You Think Of Donald Duke? by olafolarin(m): 2:21am On Nov 01, 2010
I have always supported Donald Duke but he cant win the Presidency being on top of the ticket.
With GEJ notherners are definitely feeling cheated and the opposition needs a strong Northerner
to gather the Northern Votes and Southerner like Duke will deliver a good chunk of his region while
SW will be delivered by ACN.
PoliticsRe: SNG Brokers Deal For Buhari, ACN, Afenifere by olafolarin(m): 2:10am On Nov 01, 2010

excanny:
Becomrich, Are the Yorubas the only ones in Nigeria. What difference does it make if there's no Yoruba man among the 12 directors.
What Becomrich from my own opinion is trying to say is that according to Federal Charcter Act,every FG parastatal must effect the principles of Federal Character.
Every region must be represented and for 12 Directors of FCDA be of hausa origin DEFINITELY doesnt reflect Federal Character and its in effect a breach of
the Constitution.

The British Colony made national boudaries to ease administration. The entire Old Oyo Empire should have been accommodated in present day Nigeria.
So many Yoruba-speaking benionise actually have their origin or extended family in Nigeria.
Most of thèm were migrant traders from Ejigbo,Oyo,Iseyin,Ibadan,Oyan etc but got comfortable, married and decided to stay in Present day benin,Togo,CoteDÌvoire, etc
PoliticsRe: I Am A Thoroughbred Yoruba Man – Obasanjo by olafolarin(m): 1:31am On Nov 01, 2010
Oba-san-jo Means King made things easier/gave us wealth/

OBJ is no doubt a Yorubaman even though he has different ideology.
PoliticsRe: I Am A Thoroughbred Yoruba Man – Obasanjo by olafolarin(m): 6:19am On Oct 30, 2010
One should expect Ndigbo's animosity against OBJ because he lead the final onslaught that enslaved the entire Igboland.
Though General "Scorpion" Adebayo said:"When we get to Ore,we will shoot everything moving but when we step into Biafra territory,we will shoot everything on sight-both moving and non-moving".he didnt stay long enough to execute everything but Obasanjo(his succcessor) did everything to the letters.
So one can understand why Igbos hate Obasanjo who is one of their own.

NO YORUBA LEADER SAID OBASANJO IS AN IGBOMAN.One Igwe said it and it got national attention.
PoliticsRe: I Am A Thoroughbred Yoruba Man – Obasanjo by olafolarin(m): 3:23pm On Oct 29, 2010
That explains why he won in all SE states in 1999 and lost all SW states including his "claimed" ward.
Ndigbo afterall supported one of their own.
