Funny...he is yet to impress me in this world cup,I mean Kelechi my guy.

See my sig to get more world cup tips...we won all our predictions for yesterday with a stunner of X/1 htft BTW Nigeria and Iceland.
I beg to disagree ooo, I think Kelechi really tried in that match, unlike Ighalo he tracked back many times to help the midfield and it was Kelechi that started the run that led to the first goal, he collected the ball and made a good pass to Victor Moses who then crossed to Musa. In my opinion I think Kelechi deserves some accolades

Sports / Sorry Cristiano, You're Wrong! Real Madrid Would Be Even Worse With A Team Of R by olamideayodeji1: 9:26pm On Feb 27, 2016
SORRY CRISTIANO, YOU'RE WRONG! REAL MADRID WOULD BE EVEN WORSE WITH A TEAM OF RONALDOS
By Ben Hayward

The Portuguese hit out at his team-mates in some self-centred, misguided and barely believable quotes after the Atletico loss that were out of order and also way off the mark

What was Cristiano Ronaldo thinking? The three-time Ballon d'or winner missed the best chance of the match for Real Madrid at a crucial moment of the game against Atletico on Saturday, but turned on his team-mates after the derby defeat in an astonishing attack that was more ferocious than any he had managed on the pitch.

Ronaldo tested Atleti goalkeeper Jan Oblak with a fierce free-kick in the first half that was never likely to beat the Slovenian and dragged a low shot wide when he should have hit the target at least in the second period. And moments later, Diego Simeone's side took the lead through Antoine Griezmann.

Unable to score in the derby for fives games in a row now, invisible in the majority of big games this season and padding out his goal stats with strikes against smaller sides like Malmo, Eibar, Espanyol, Shakhtar Donestk and more, Cristiano chose not to look at his own contribution after this latest loss but instead to take out his anger on his team-mates.

"It annoys me that people say Cristiano's performances have dropped and that is why Madrid's form has dipped," he said in the mixed zone after the game. "If all of the players were at my level, we would be in first."

And he added: "From what the press says it seems like I am doing sh*t but the numbers and statistics do not lie. They are there."

That is far from the reality, however. Until his recent double against Athletic Bilbao, Ronaldo's goals had actually been responsible for adding only two points to Madrid's tally in La Liga all season, with virtually all of his strikes coming with Real already in front.

On top of that, his lack of a real defensive contribution is another thorn in Madrid's side. Coach Zinedine Zidane said when he took over in January that he wanted all of the players dropping deep to defend and helping out. Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema both responded, but Ronaldo barely bothered.

If all of the players adopted that attitude, Madrid would be much worse off than their current and already disappointing position in third place behind both Barcelona and Atletico with 12 games to play in the Primera Division.

"I don't want to look down on anyone," Ronaldo said later on. "But when the best players are missing, [Gareth] Bale, [Karim] Benzema... I like playing with Karim, without him it's more difficult. And with Bale, with Marcelo. Danilo was the best on the pitch today, but over a season it's complicated. I'm not saying Jese, Lucas [Vazquez] or [Mateo] Kovacic aren't good, but... yes."

Those words will win the Portuguese few friends in the dressing room and if anyone needs team-mates to succeed, it is Cristiano. Because gone are the days when the forward would win matches on his own with individual brilliance. Now more than ever before, he relies on his colleagues to create chances and set up his goals.

So speaking out of turn like this is a real low and a poor error of judgement on the Portuguese's part. He is as much to blame for Madrid's malaise as anyone else and perhaps more so because he is considered the side's star player.

In any case, this is a team game and Ronaldo's individualism only thrives when the team is on form. So no, Madrid would not be better off with everybody playing as he does, but worse - and if he really believes he is at the top of his game, he should take a look back at some old videos to see how his form has dramatically diminished in recent times.

FYI, Olympic milk is a low cholesterol milk, it is not suppose to be thick and sweet. It's actually meant for the elderly ones and those that are concern about their weight and cholesterol level.

Its a milk you can take even when you are watching your weight.

Its is perhaps the most healthy milk around.

Your mate are married with children, (Anthony Marshial is an example) u are whining about a stepmother giving u food late, u should be ashamed of urself.
Ur reply to that person that advised u shows ur character and attitude, it shows u are a rude, arrogant ignoramus.
FYI, at age 16 after my ssce, I was secretly doing a labourers job to buy a karl kani jeans and a Sanchois boot (those that were born in the 80s will know the shoe) I was not waiting for my parent, u are begging for money to get a haircut. At 19 I was cooking for my whole house, mum will just supervise, woe betide u if u burn the food.

U better get off ur lazy ass and fend for urself, respect ur stepmother and father and do what is right by them, nothing is wrong with ur stepmother u are the one that needs to do a reality check.

Thank u and God bless

Culture / Re: Diasporans Have You Noticed Some Strange Behaviors With Nigerians At Home ? by olamideayodeji1: 12:22pm On Oct 17, 2015
sukkot:
I have noticed a few strange and odd behaviors about Nigerians at home from spending time on nairaland and I am sure I am not the only one who has but I will mention the four quick ones that come to mind
1-homosexual tendencies of the men : if there is a topic on frontpage about a nak-ed male criminal or a nak-ed male artist that indicates a picture is attached to the thread and you go into the thread and the subject is not as na-ked as the topic indicates, you get many male nairalanders saying ' i want to see the picture of the joystick or this thread is rubbish '. so many threads like that and you see male nairalanders demanding the picture of joystick.
2-it seems the people have degraded to the point where they pick up any filthy animal roaming on the streets ( rats, lizards, snakes, etc, one even picked up a rat that had fallen into a sewer ) and roast it and eat it. what is happening with these people ?
3-the love for graphic pictures. there is a huge thirst for blood. people demand for graphic pictures like they are demanding for food. the more graphic the better. what is going on with these people ? is something wrong ?
4-fight against corruption. now it is a common known fact that all nigerians politicians are corrupt. now my parents are yoruba so that makes me yoruba. now if there is a request for where the fight against corruption should start I would beg and plea for you to start the fight in yoruba land and i will love to see all yoruba kleptocrats jailed for life. if you start in yoruba land then that means we the yoruba people are the first to have a clean and sanitized society, so I would absolutely love for you to start this fight in yoruba land. NOT THESE PEOPLE IN NIGERIA. they see it as witch hunting people from their own ethnic group if you start with the thieves in their ethnic group. what is wrong ?
THERE IS A DEEP SPIRITUAL PROBLEM IN THE LAND AND THE LAND IS SLOWLY DISINTEGRATING AND DEGRADING INTO A ZOO. WHERE ARE THE WISE MEN THAT WILL RAISE THE SPIRITUAL FREQUENCY OF THE LAND. TO SUMMARIZE IT, THEY WANT BLOOD, THEY WANT CORRUPTION, THEY WANT HOMOSEXUALITY AND THEY WANT UNCLEAN FOODS
CC lalasticala Seun please can this issue be addressed in frontpage. this is a national cry for spiritual sanitization

Because dem do mistake give u visa for embassy the rest of us in Naija have now become "these people" eh? Anyway all u said in ur post is crap, FYI 98% of Nigerians are anti-gay, and if u dont know the difference btw beta bushmeat and rodent pls ask. For the anti-corruption fight being termed as witch hunting, I give u that one, u are on point.

Politics / Re: Jonathan Is No Hero by olamideayodeji1: 12:42pm On Apr 02, 2015
kaybams1:
The beauty of Opinions is that they are normally meant to differ. Well, this is mine-Jonathan is no Hero. He's not even close. Someone conceded defeat after years of an easy ride in politics and epic failure of leadership, then just a phone call suddenly makes him Mandela. How ridiculous can we get as a Nation.
What were his options really? He will end up going to court where he will contend with the fierce army of APC legal doyens like Fashola, Osinbajo, most likely Falana e.t.c on a rigging case that APC even has better evidence to nail him than the other way round....then after a few weeks of public and International rebuke, the stubborn but calm Jega will uphold his decision; GEJ will be disgraced out of office. Checkmate.
Its a democratic system of Government for goodness sake!. How will he had prevented Buhari from becoming the President after INEC had announced him the winner?. Has there been any President that INEC announced lost an election and yet didn't abdicate his 'throne'?. Jonathan is the First Incumbent to be Defeated. Its obvious that if he had entered the legal fight, he will most likely lose; the record will then change to the 'First Incumbent to be Disgraced out of Office'.
Obasanjo stood by his words by being the first Military Head to hand over power to a Civilian even though no one dares challenge him if he didn't. Did we call him a Hero? No!
Buhari as a Military ruler in the 80s tacitly 'conceded' defeat by knowing about a coup plan against him and yet allowed it. Did we call him a Hero? Of course No!.
Reputation matters in everything especially in Politics. Jonathan's advisers did the math and saw the end of the road, then decided to use their ingenuity (I must admit) to make him take a bow when the ovation of his fans are loudest. It worked at the end. They manipulated people's sympathy for him and declared him a Hero. He's a matured politician I give him that. But calling him a Hero is a bit of a stretch.
Its an insult to the Awos, Adekunles, Azikwes, Sardaunas, Enahoros, of this world to equate Jonathan to their ilk. Let's not even go near Mandela. Jonathan isn't close by a long shot.
Goodluck Jonathan didn't do anyone a favour by Conceding defeat. He did himself a favour. And the Victory is for Us the Electorates not him.

Thank u my brother, i couldn't agree with you more, i wonder what he would have done if he didnt conceed defeat, even Okadigbo had to return the Maze at a point. Jonathan would have been disgraced and probably killed in the violence that will erupt if he had tried anything funny.

noope....its clearly written that u borrowed 50k from ur dad n 50k from ur mum. The guy borrowed 100k

You borrowed 50k each from both ur parent and returned 1k each to the two of them, technically that mean u borrowed 49k each so

49k + 49k =98k

98k-97k(laptop) = 1k (money u kept for urself)

its simple math not rocket science
