Whaooooo... Congrats bro.
But I am confused. You got the sponsorship letter after your interview. How did it happen? What did you first tender during your interview?

Good morning fams,
My story is just a testimony.
Forex wasn't smiling at me some days after interview and God came up with his miracle as a distant relative was contacted exactly 1 week after my interview and was very glad to hear that I'm coming to Deutscheland to study. In all, some days after as he promised to help me get it and messaged me to send my mail. Lo and behold, I saw the real VERPFLICHTUNGSERKLARUNG. some days after, I got it through DHL and posted to the consulate but stated the necessary reasons for change in plans in a formal write-up. To my surprise after almost 3 weeks of long wait in prayers and fasting, yesterday 6th September God proved who he was as a miracle worker - I saw my AM even several minutes after it has arrived on my mail while I didn't notice. 1 person I would give all this honor to is God and he sent no one else than his loyal creature HONOURABLESEYI who stood by me in every bit of questions asked. Ur pending prayers has been approved just like my AM has.
One advice for others is Stick to God this time like u re using Kante and Bakayoko to block ur midfield and be prayerful and don't hesitate reading from page 1 "all dos saying no one to refer u backpage, remember there's no short route to success, things dey backpage oooo" plus don't stop pm'ing old folks now in Germany "I wahala a lot of people sha" Eke40seven, Schwartz, PVibes, Lamingo, Hadaseekeh, Uchevolata, Jigba, Nicki, Dolpaz, Adejnr, Mr. Bigman etc and everyone that got my PM una DANKE oooo. To everyone including the VO, everyone that has been part of my success stories here and out there, all ur wish has been granted and approved.

See u all in Deutscheland

U don't need it now since I opine u re just applying for admission. At the interview stage, u would be needing it.

Here is the transcript of my Visa Interview I did today:

German interview (FHWS 2017)

I got to the Embassy at about 6.03AM, even though my appointment was slated for 10AM. Oga Paulinus gave us special attention by walking us through on the proper form of arrangement of our docs, he did this taking three people at a time. After scaling through, we were ushered into the main building where we sat down and waited for the VO to get prepared.

Venue – Main building for long term Visa Cubicle 3
Interview Format – I just dey shout through the glass, she no even tell me to pick up the phone during the interview. She go sit down, na you go stand (I nearly faint cos all my waist wan cut cos of the long standing, the woman no even pity me or even tell me sorry!)
Cubicle 3 light finally goes ON, It felt like I was been called to appear before the Judgement seat of Christ Jesus. Na so I pick myself up, dust my yansh, pack my docs and took a deep glance at other applicants that were seated, before heading to the main entrance.

Immediately I got in, I was given another format for arranging my Doc (this was written on a piece of paper by the VO). While I sorted my Doc, she collected my admission letter and passport, then keyed in the details into her computer.
Then collected my Visa Applicant form and passport, did my Biometrics, gave me the print out result to sign confirming that my details were correctly typed by her, which I did.
Then she returned my form.
While She was doing this I asked regarding using Block account for Interview and then opting for Sponsorship Letter after you interview, She turned over to her colleague in the other cubicle (the German white Lady) and asked her the same question as though to confirm before giving me an answer, the white woman affirmed that it is allowed.

P.S: Later while she was keying in my details, she begin asking me those Visa Interview-like questions, For my mind I be like shey dis woman done start interview already without telling me. As I spy her monitor, I noticed she was no longer inputting my details but was now keying in my response in German, Na so I compose shaperly.

The Questions I can remember are thus written below:

1- Do you speak German?

2- Name of school and intended course of study?

3- Previous educational background?
4- Why won’t you be completing your studies in Nigeria (am currently studying Mechatronics in Nigeria)
5- How many semesters is your intended course and explain the curriculum?
6.How did you get to know about Germany?
7.What is Mechatronics?
8.What is control systems?
9- Why Germany, Why not UK,Canada or even continue here in Nigeria?
10- What is your aim after completing your study?
11- Do you have any relative in Germany?
12-Do you have any relative in the EU, where?
13-Where does your Uncle work and how much does He earn?
14-Explain your relationship with this Uncle of yours, like how is He an Uncle to you?
15-Means of sponsorship?
16-Tell me what you know about Germany?
17-What is the Population?
18-How many countries borders Germany?
19.Where is your school Located?
20.Apart from Germany, which other country Speaks German?
21.Name the country that is a Schengen Country but not a member of the EU?
22-What's the date of German re-unification?
23-What do you know about your school city?
24-Which city is the capital of your intended state?
25-Have you paid your semester fee?
26-What steps have you taken towards preparing for your studies?
27-How about your accommodation, what type do you intend on renting?

That was it for me, then she told me you did well for a Bachelor Degree applicant just be hopeful and prayerful, as we will contact you by mail.

Waaaooooooh, wehdone and congratulations in advance sir. This got my opinion about this route mesmerised.
NB: To other folks don't be scared asking questions unclear to U. VO's no be our secondary school teacher wey go cain us on asking any of our questions unclear/unknown to them.

good thanks for clarifying it here. Well with a lot of emails and tweets, I thinks the german embassy will response to the applicant. What I just notice about german schools student adminstration is that they response to email that's been sent to them. I will even send the email of the german embassy in Nigeria to the school that gave me admission earlier this week about the stand of the visa status. I know they will response to me. Thanks for your concern.

Why not make ur quote precise and take other people's decision as an alternative to ur actions. Also try restructure ur write up cos when u type too much, u write poor English sentence. Tweet till tmao, the German embassy would act as directed by their government.

@johnessence, biko dey cool down cos no be only u no get date. Don't be quick to always quote every post.

This post is a joke. The German government owes you NOTHING!! they have their policies and the only people they owe it to serve are Germans. They didn't ask you to apply for education in their country, so they're not liable for any costs incurred on your part. instead of copying gbogbo ti gbogbo to help you with schooling in Germany, tell them to fix the shitty education here so we won't have to start looking for quality education elsewhere.

You won't demand this kind of accountability from your government, it's Germany you want accountability from. Mshew. Please delete this nonsense.

U hv spoken sense out of the above nonsense (Mr Renewable sorry) if God permit, things would work out fine let's just keep the positive vibe.
Funny enough 2 weeks ago I quoted some moniker on this unnecessary mail bombarding to the German consulate, some people quoted me to be selfish and coward. I would always advice we reason outside the box. This fellas are offering us free education (forget ur blocked account money oooo cos na u get am) of which our own myopic government don't. One thing that aches me most is even some people would get sponsorship letter as an alternative (for those that fall in dx class, u can't spend more than 500k for travelling expenses or to hold at hand b4 u settle if u sabi), amongst all have the opportunity to work (that one no fit happen for 9ja except N-power sha). What else do you guys want? Being booked out doesn't mean that's the end of the road faaa at least it happened last year and was looked upon and reverted.
This is a German policy and the fact is not even our government can dictate that for them rather u tell our government to fix ours.
The every moment I type I always say, remember other applicants are coming next semester. Emafi waduwadu yin koba won (I pray dx una overzealous attitude no affect other incoming applicants).

Make una reason outside the box.

Good morning fams,
I really feel for the the monkier "daontop" that got rejected on the ground of funding yesterday. I urge u to seek for an appeal str8 up (God would intervene but try fund immediately u get an appeal approval). On the other hand, It would been reasonable for you to come give the house more of what really happened on that day so we could dish out little more input that could help u too. So unfortunate, gone are those days that our seniors share their interview transcript (though that's a personal discretion but it's vital for we to carry ourselves along) but this our set na another name we dey bear cos the ones we read from other pages are still the ones we're banking on while updates is going on. Let's try and encourage ourselves by sharing our transcript. I think the last time I read on this thread, my moniker was the last that shared an interview transcript (not really encouraging).
However, it has come to my notice that if people come out here to post that they got a refusal, we wouldn't see any other post from them (I think I read 2 weeks ago of a guy, till date we didn't hear anything about his refusal or any other thing he did thereafter) please make we stop all dx attitude of starting wetin we no go fit finish.
It would really be encouraging if we could go back to the drawing board as most of this issues needs to be addressed. When we don't share transcript of our interview, tell me even if it's updated what would incoming applicants read. Remember Germany now changes most of of their policies which could be one of the eminent information people could get.
Abeg make we adjust ooooo.

No I understand that part, someone can fill with pen or on adobe, it doesn't really matter. But talking about bar code, that is what is confusing because if you look at UK student visa application form, there is a bar code, so am not understanding this one of bar code in german visa application form, because I can't see any on it

Leave UK procedure out of this as this is Germany. If u buy my opinion, do as I as advised cos that was what I used and there wasn't issue

I sympathize with folks who have not been able to get booked for interview. The German government continues to implement policies that would reduce the number of students coming in.

Last year they increased the minimum monthly disposable from €670 to €720.

They have thus far refused to budge on the "no more dates" decision. Now followed by a 25% increase in visa fees.

Here in Germany, states including Baden Wertturmberg, Nord Rhein Westfalen and Thuringia have either implemented or are debating tuition fee era.

In addition, the number of Auslanderbehorder/foreign offices insisting on blocking of account for residence permit extension is increasing.

I do not really know what the situation is for others, especially people coming from non-african countries, but it appears that the German state is trying to reduce its financial commitment to University education (for internationals).

Nobody can say exactly what is on their mind. But for new applicants, please try and apply early...even to schools/courses you might not like...Use it for visa app and move to your choice school (with late admission) when you arrive here.

Good luck!

This policies are changing bit by bit and in respect to time. I pray someday, this route we perceive to be easy could be tough to beat in years time. I just seek refuge in the hands of Almighty that we that got the foresight about this route will not be hindered by anything to scale through.

I have somebody that got his personal copy yesterday. it has my school stamp and the registrar's signature on it.

When u get the Official/Original Copy from your school at hand, try to make copies depending on the numbers of schools u re applying to and certify them whilst u still keep the original given to you by ur school for future purpose. Hope this EPPs.

Hoping to explain to VO after submitting the printout. No one has said he was asked about scratch card during visa interview.

If no one was asked of the waec scratch card, I WAS ASKED. Well, the scratch card looks like that recharge card paper.
