Dennerby takes Precious Dede to India. Precious Dede has been appointed the goalkeeping coach for U17 in India. She joins backroom staffs of Dennerby. 1 year contract.

Dennerby continues to help our football grow, even with the poor way he was treated.

C'est finis! FIFA about to abandon Nigeria as host for U20 world cup. Now the slot going to Costa Rica and Panama joint hosts. Well, only good news is that corruption was prevented.

I think it is pseudo-confirmed that Nigeria will host the U20 WWC. Lagos, Benin, Asaba and Uyo as host cities. Pretty safe choices and I would have loved Ibadan too, but I guess the stadium isnt top shape. If they want our team to do well, dont put them in Lagos. Too much pressure. FIFA will be impressed by crowd sizes.
Big corruption opportunity for Pinnick and his ilks. Big security challenges but those host cities are pretty calm. Huge logistics issues with Lagos, but Lagos always comes through. Those who are smart in these cities should invest in properties- make your nice apartment to AirBnB standard, and you may be lucky to earn some extra income.
Overall, a good opportunity for Nigeria. I pray it goes well.

Actually the issue of coaches is not supposed to be a problem. Decide what you want (Local or Foreign), ask for CVs, review honestly, and pick the best.

For me, it is time for Dedevbo . Danjuma, Nikyu and others should be chased away from anything to do with female football in Nigeria.
If you want a female coach, Omagbemi is standard! To me, she is more tactically astute than Dennerby. Dennerby wasnt as bad as people make him. His approach is highly commendable. His tenure saw the biggest moves by Nigerian players abroad. We need a coach like that at this stage. I will go for another European, maybe a younger Spanish or Dutch dude who has interned at top clubs.

Administratively, Ruth Davids has been a nightmare. From U20 world cup, to senior world cup. I think the minister has removed her anyway.

At the end of the video, the guy said if they had scanned the area, it (the ambush) wouldn't have happened.
This whole idea of super camp or whatever nonsense it is called will lead to more ambush like this. They could have scanned and still fall victim of the ambush. You could here the rpg carrier saying he launched many, and still to little effect. That BHTs can lay such an effective ambush should worry every Nigerian, especially after years of collecting INTEL about their modus operandi.
Radio communication was poor, even after the attack, I pray those guys make it out of there alive, because they are isolated and about 5 km from next safe spot.

BHts took out about 8 of our men. I am more worried about the isolation of the troops. No matter how good you are, if you find yourself isolated like these guys, then the enemy can pick them out one after the other. We are dancing backwards in this war.

Football in Nigeria is in the hands of its enemies. That one with white bear bear is busy buying properties around the world. Of all the coaches in Nigeria, Danjuma is perhaps the worst. Sheepishly changing the captain on his first day on the job should indicate he is a failure.

She must think everyone is like her. Everything points to guilt in this video, except her narratives. Let your brother clear himself up. Same way some Lautech Yahoo boys' girlfriend was posting alarm on social media until the boys were paraded. These yahoo yahoo and crimanility is so rampant now that EFCC doesnt even need to sweat to know suspects.

Good news from Foreign based Falcons. Also, impressive outing by the home based in Algeria. I think now is the time to see if Dennerby knows his stuff or not. He has abundance of talent to pick from now.

Good to be back! Watched the match yesterday and the team was well above the Algerians. They hardly had shots on target. Also, I wont be surprised if the coach sticks to majority of those girls. They were exciting to watch and some were better than foreign based players.

Myopic write-up. The author wrote as far as he could see, and it is obvious he isnt seeing beyond his nose.
I have met Nigerians at the start and end of their foreign post grad studies, and the difference is huge! You will see a medicine related graduate who cannot handle basic lab equipment, or even still using mouth to suck dangerous chemicals up a pipette. That is why they struggle so much in practicals when they start abroad.

We cant sack this coach and expect any progress. FACT.
We were a mess before him. He has put some order in the team, and going forward, Olympics is next big thing. We have a big chance in that if we keep the bulk of this team under same coach.

5 minutes of VAR madness and the reason VAR can never favour Africans. The corner was an offside and that was what VAR called, not interference after the corner.

Just allow the pen abeg. I cant afford another yellow to Nnadozie.

Sports / Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 4:53pm On Jun 22, 2019
VAR lets us down, but honestly it was offside that led to the corner.
Sports / Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 4:51pm On Jun 22, 2019
The failure of Zonal marking. To me, VAR should have disallowed the goal. Popp was offside before the corner.
