We will learn a lot about officiating in this tournament. Why do we attract so many penalties. Surely it's a reputation thing rather than actual fouls.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 11:43am On Mar 01, 2019
We will win by a good margin.

If the lifeless Buhari can be spotted at different occasion doing the demonic "4+4" sign in public, then no bloody hypocrite should criticize this man for giving his own sign.

They are both elected to represent their various society.

By the way, I think the time has come for me to go for an elective position. cheesy
You will do this for another 4 years? I really pity you.

PDP and supporters always dwelling on petty and inconsequential things. A man makes a mistake and you are building a castle on it? APC is having to do very little work, while these petty issues and fake news of PDP is doing all the work for them.

Please do you know how we got the red card?
According to the Austrians, we slept off at the back and their striker was one on one with Tochukwu. Tochukwu came out and brought the player down. The incidence happened outside the box, so no penalty.

that's it, your main point is CLINICAL, even with 10ladies we can/would have beaten them,

OSHOBABE and missed chances. Are beginning to be like 5 and 6s
I wont worry much about Oshoala missing chances in a friendly. She has improved a lot since joining Barca, and will keep improving. Her coaches will have seen her miss those chances and will work on her.
The team did well considering they only came together about 24 hours before the game. We will improve in the next game.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 6:54pm On Feb 27, 2019
Good learning experience. I dont think the Austrians are that better than us, and 11 vs 11, with Oshoala being clinical, we could have beaten them resoundingly. An opportunity missed to see Cecilia Nku. Overall, good game. Now let me go find the highlights or full match on youtube.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 6:47pm On Feb 27, 2019
Now 4-1.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 6:38pm On Feb 27, 2019
Oshoala misses another chance to make it 3-2. Still 3-1.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 6:36pm On Feb 27, 2019
3-1 now.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 6:17pm On Feb 27, 2019
Austria score. Oshoala keeps missing chances.

No links. I follow updates from the Austrian football page. Apparently, Oshoala just missed a glorious chance to put us ahead.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 5:44pm On Feb 27, 2019
The referee today, is from Czech, and will also referee in France for the world cup, so its good to have a taste. Also, she has booked 2 Austrians as well, so we are not doing badly.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 5:38pm On Feb 27, 2019
2 more yellow cards for Anam Imo and Chinaza Uchendu. We might learn more about officiating in this tournament than we learn our football. It is very good at least. Better now than at world cup.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 5:36pm On Feb 27, 2019
Bad day for Cecilia Nku as she had to be removed to allow for another goalie to replace Tochukwu. She will show herself in the next match hopefully.

The day PDP runs an honest campaign devoid of lies, blackmail, curses and religious division, thats the day they will stand a chance. The amount of fake news PDP fanboys like Reno, FFK, etc were peddling was really unfortunate. Even if one didnt want to vote Buhari, we were left with no choice.

Austria TV will probably show it. Otherwise we can watch the recorded veŕsion on YouTube
PoliticsRe: Final Nigeria's Presidential Elections Results 2019 - BBC by olapluto(m): 12:50am On Feb 27, 2019
I wanted Buhari over Atiku, but our electoral map is depressing. We are not united, and that map shows a visibly divided country.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 10:28pm On Feb 26, 2019
Nigeria vs Austria tomorrow. Austria have been training well since weekend, while we had our first and maybe only training this evening. Tough match it will be, but we will not lose.
PoliticsRe: President Muhammadu Buhari Received Updates On The Performance Of APC by olapluto(m): 10:04am On Feb 26, 2019
When you make NPA director the head of mobilisation, then you know money is not an issue. APC played the game well. PDP in 2015 was giving millions to inconsequential people like FFK, Reno, Dasuki, Obanikoro, etc.

Funny picture, though I think there is a real command to deal with troublemakers. My Army families seem to be extra giddy about Saturday. Apparently, there is intelligence re big plans by troublemakers.

My expectation for Cyprus cup is that I want to see a more cohesive attack play. Lets see if the coach can improve the midfield to attack connection. We should do well against these teams as we are now more organised. Oshoala will have a lot of joy.

Reports says that the Presidential Election is behind the delay of the Superfalcons ability to resume camp for the Cyprus Cup.
This is not supposed to be. They should have booked the bulk flights long before. I hope we dont miss out on this tournament because it will make other organisers to avoid inviting us.

Cyprus cup comes up in about a week. Hope the ladies attend and do well. I had planned to go there and watch the ladies, but family issues wont let me.

I think EBERE ORJI should be brought back.....
she is doing fine in Sweden, uses both feets effectively and can play in any position upfront...

As for Oparanozie she is currently undergoing fitness training.... I hope she gets fit ASAP
I beg to disagree sir. She is not doing great in Sweden. We need Ugo Njoku back. The attack is looking OK. Our problem is more of midfield and wing backs.

This is a welcome development for the African women football. Now the AAG will be more competitive. All those teams that participated at AWCON will give a good account of themselves. No disbandment, just rectification of little mistakes and we will have about 8 teams giving us a first class performance during the AAG competition.
An opportunity to see our team B and C pull their weight.

I'll rather she came as a sub till she is super fit.
