he called about half of the U20 squad to camp trying to inject young players into the team but time time was not on his side he had to settled with An am IMO ,Ajibade and Nnadozie
The last 2 sets of U20 should come before this set in my opinion. They are not bad, in face, most are better than this set.

In the next five years, I expect South Africa to overtake just like they dominate other Olympic sports.

Even female football that we are managing, the South Africans will take it over too.
Unlike their male teams, their female team is actually talented.
National mismanagement is evident everywhere.
It is no wonder why the most developed nations are the nations with the highest number of Olympic medals.

If Nigeria sports management was working properly, our female football should be at par with the rest of the world given how many world cups we have attended.

But Nigeria takes one step forward, three steps backward.
You know things that dont actually require big efforts, but people are hell bent on making money from it. Super falcons are actually very marketable. The players should be getting endorsements rather than say Big brother housemates.
For someone like me, Super Falcons are my favourite team and I plan to even follow them to France.
SportsRe: The Banyana Banyana Miracle Vs. The Super Falcons Miracle by olapluto(m): 4:03pm On Nov 29, 2018
Highly insightful posts. Amaju Pinnick is not NFF president, but Super Eagles manager. He is axing and choping other teams while using Super Eagles for cosmetics.
Many many countries want to play super falcons, but unless Pinnick will make money from it, he wont sanction it.

Bring back Florence
Looking at this analytically, I will love to have Florence back, but she needs to upgrade the team's defensive play. Dennerby is not as good as Omagbemi. However, NFF will respect Dennerby more due to his skin colour.
I feel it will take Dennerby at least 5 or 6 friendly matches to really know his players. For now, he only trusts about 16 players and keeps repeating them. When he knows the team, he could help us, but we dont expect attacking football. His is to soak up pressure and win by a goal.

NA say they lost 23 men. Twitter journalists say it is over 100. BHT video shows about 10 soldiers dead or killed.

Moral of the story- In this season of politics, unofficial sources are invested in casualty figures and should bedisregarded.

Ajibade and Anam imo they are young players they are going to improve I'm sure ajibade is going to the world cup the coach trust her

I expect Courtney dike and umotong to be called for the world cup also
In terms of readiness for super falcons, then Anam Imo is not reaady. She's 4 years ahead of time. Ihezuo is the natural replacement for Oparanozie. Hopefully, they play up to 4 friendlies so the coach can know the team more.

I don't think ajibade is the problem we were outplayed from the first minute to the last the team played too deep oshoala spent more time in our half angry
Oshoala actually played more as a wing back than a striker. The coach was just happy to sit back and absorb pressure for 90 minutes. It seems we should get used to this type of game from the Swede.

Buhari today is on his way to Maiduguri. Since the attack NAF has bombarded Boko Haram so bad.
Afenifepolitics are not serious. Odumakin is a known Pdp beneficiary and should not be taken serious

Our coach tried so hard lose that match. Subbing Ordega who is our woman of the tournament and leaving a half fit Oparanozie on the pitch. I am starting to think Chikwelu and the coach have something going on because this is just ridiculous
I forgive the coach because he doesnt know his players well yet. He has Ihezuo on the bench but prefers Anam Imo who offers practically nothing. All his subs were off today.
They say good strikers win you matches, but good defenders win you tournaments. We may win this cup simply because we have solid experienced defenders.

We break Cameroonian hearts again. They must think its some form of juju.

Now South Africa is ready to carry the cup, because this Falcons are not ready to attack.

The source is a government source. I believe our airforce invaded Chadian airspace, and I hope they continue to do that when pursuing BHTs. Chad had to chose a side now. We cant continue to sacrifice men for these French proxies.

@Ola discuss one deep gan.....!

The Chadians are not to be trusted.
The voice of Jacob, and hand of Esau. The ambush was deadly, and very unusual. By now, every commander on the frontline knows that BHT can wear army uniforms. What I believe happened was that the unit was contacted by what they thought was MNJTF and fell right into the ambush set.

Reminds me of how Bin Laden was being fed with intel from the Pakistani Intelligence for years. It also makes sense that as we push BHTs back from the Lake Chad region, the Chadians either allow them in, or help push back against Nigeria.

.....Meanwhile, indications have also emerged that most of the Boko Haram commanders and their foot soldiers who attacked the military base were none-Nigerians. Another intelligence officer told PRNigeria in confidence that the attackers were speaking Arabic, French and some foreign languages. The officer said: “Some of our soldiers who escaped after the rescue operation told us that the attackers dressed in military camouflage similar to the one wore by member countries of Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF). We learned that the attackers were not Nigerians as they spoke in Arabic, French and other strange languages when they first appeared like friendly force before they started to shoot at Nigerian troops. “There is heighten suspicion that the deadliest attacks could not have taken place without collaborators probably within the military camp or the host community who could have been communicating with the terrorists before and after they stormed the locations. “The military may likely engage in a tactical maneuver for forceful reinforcements of ground troops and air components in the affected areas in view of new developments

Like Henry and i said before, total lack of discipline and rotten chain of command is a huge problem here, and lack of organization.
In that video you can hear that soldier telling others to stay if they want, or leave.
Begs the question, who the fvk is in charge of these units? Because in a situation like this, leadership is critical, and i see that sorely lacking, someone gotta calm such situation down, but as usual, that was a break down right there.
what a shame.
Those guys should down their tools and walk, until those leaders take human life seriously .
And why make this a tribal thing? damn
Sir, that video tells me a lot about the discipline (or gross lack of) and morale at the battle front. If this narrator's unit is attacked, the soldiers have already resigned to faith before even firing a bullet.
BHT insurgency will end the day Army top brass stop making money from it. That simple.

I don't feel so bad for Ghana because they have the brightest bunch of young players coming from their U17. I believe those girls would best most teams in this tournament.
Ghana is actually declining. They have always had good U17 players, and never do well at U20. The progression is not there. We are quite lucky in that aspect. The next 3 generation of super Falcons is already known. Ihezuo, Ajibade, Biawo, Okeke, Basirat Amoo, etc. We are very lucky.
That is why I laugh when I hear that the gap is closed in Africa. South Africa's so called speedy players are players our U17 and U20 used as chewing sticks.
I just pray we meet SA again. They will hear wen!

Super happy. Other girls will get Swedish clubs and top Euro clubs with this Coach's connection. If we win AWCON, I expect Amarachi Okoronkwo to move out after.
Ajibade is due a big move too.

Honestly, this situation is heartbreaking to anyone who loves the Army or loves Nigeria. I really wish Buratai is forced to sit and watch the videos in the presence of Buhari and the security team. Given 48 hours to stage the army's biggest ever comeback and make a statement.
Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by olapluto(m): 7:05pm On Nov 23, 2018
The video's effect is already manifest in the last few pages. SERIOUS soul searching has to be done. Nigerian Army needs to change their MO when face with such attacks.
It is very easy to aportion blame when we see the propaganda video of BHT. No one likes to see a trained soldier die in somewhat cowardly manner. If Nigerian Army does not respond robustly within 48 hours, then they are inviting another worse attack. Obviously our bases are porous and will be easily overrun by any rag tag army. BHT surely now know that most camp defences will not hold after few waves of attack.

I am really too heartbroken to start analysing the issue. Even more heartbroken that the government and Army HQ are not saying anything. They must bloody take us for fools. Last night, when I saw the video, I couldnt sleep. I was awake till like 4am just having flashbacks of that soldier pleading for his life, and the other well kitted soldiers shot point blank.

I agree with y’all that Chukwunonye performed way better as a right-back. She brought do much energy to the attack that I wonder why she was initially on the bench huh

Anyway, my preferred lineup would be:

———————Nnadozie—————-

-Chukwunonye—-Ebi—-Ohale—-Ebele——

—————————Ayinde———————-

—————Okobi————A. Okoronkwo——-

———Oshoala——-Oparanozie—-Ordega—-
I'll rest Ordega and start Ihezuo. We need a fit and active bench for the knock out stages.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 11:20am On Nov 22, 2018
I noted in the first game that our defensive organisation is looking more rigid. This is what you get from a foreign coach. Now, looking at the team generally, I think we can improve in attack and midfield, but the team is finding its balance.
I have watched almost all matches at AWCON 2018 fully and I can say that our display in 2nd half against Zambia was the most solid defensively in the tournament.

Moving forward, I will like us to rest Oshoala and Oparanozie after 60 mins against Equitorial Guinea. Also, I'll prefer we rest Ordega for the next match, so she's fresh, but I know the coach wont do it. She needs fitness.
As we are likely to meet Cameroon in the SF, then we must be physically ready. Cameroon is not known for technical play. Their game is easily readable and I'm sure we will beat them, albeit a tight game.

Does anyone know how the under listed factors will be ranked assuming we have 3 teams with 6points in our group?

A.goals for
B.goals against
C.goals difference
D.head to head

Thanks
In this order:
1. Goals difference
2. Goals for

No head to head.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 9:35pm On Nov 21, 2018
SA beat Equitorial Guinea by 7-1. If we play like our 2nd half today, then we beat Equatorial Guinea by a big margin, and Zambia beat South Africa, then we top our group.
Equatorial Guinea side is terribly unfit and out of shape. Oshoala will have a field day against them.

In Group A, I fear for Ghana. Mali will almost certainly beat Algeria. If Ghana do not beat Cameroon, they're out. If they beat Cameroon by 1 goal, they're still out if Mali win. They need a big goal margin against Cameroon.
Looking forward to Nigeria vs Cameroon next Tuesday already.

OK. I am looking for Duru1 to come and apologise to 19 year old superstar in making, Rashidat Ajibade. Every touch of Ajibade today was excellent.
Okobi is the difference we've missed. Good game. Thank you Super Falcons for this game. 3 more wins and we lift the cup.

This team is hurting. I am impressed with defensive organisation though. However, midfield to attack connection is still missing. We also miss the overlapping wing backs.
