2. Minimah was the GOC 81 Division Lagos as at then till 2013. He wasn't Moguno's successor.

3. Moguno was retired in 2014 along with other officers that were senior to Minimah when he was made CoAS in line with Army tradition.

4. There is no relationship between Moguno's many gaffs that led to his redeployment in 2011 and Minimah that was appointed CoAS in 2014.

You're not privy to this case my friend. Monguno's action on this BH kingpin is what makes him most suitable for NSA at this moment. Although I agree with you that there are many other fine officers who arent Northerner and are capable. However in this case, Monguno is the best for the position.
