In about 20 years time, Nigeria will be filled with more bastards than we can handle. |
BascoVanVeli:lol. Is she your sister? |
CFCfan:With all due respect, the games in England are not as tough as the games in our local league. Oshoala said this after playing few games in Liverpool colours. I will think the six strikers are : Oparanozie, Oshoala, Sunday Ordega, Sarah Michael, Perpetua. The last spot is up for grabs amongst the newbies. |
9 Billion dollars. Oya make una divide that by 150 million Nigerians. 1 million naira per month per Nigerian. 1 million Naira a month of the young unemployed man walking down the street 1 million naira a month off the poor woman selling groundnut on the street 1 million naira a month off the poor youths who have to hawk to pay WAEC fees. 1 million naira off the youth forced to sell her body for 1,000 naira a night. That is how much this means to each Nigerian. |
dutchjongen:The key nail on GEJ's coffin here is the 'presidential directive'. He was fully in on this fraud. |
IzonOwei:The only credit GEJ deserves is 100 naira MTN credit per month to call from his prison cell. He is EVIL! 1 million naira per month on every Nigerian? And our people cannot survive on 300 naira daily? |
Just to put in perspective. $9 billion on Kerosene subsidy. That equates to $60,000 per Nigerian. Or 12 million naira per Nigerian in one year. I wonder if that slime called Barcanista will redo his maths on Buhari's ability to pay Nigerian youths monthly stipend. If oil thieves can be stealing 1 million naira from every Nigerian every month, who says we cannot have 100k monthly allowance? And this is on kerosene subsidy alone. Minus state government stealing, minus NPA& NIMASA, minus Customs, etc. We have very very wicked leaders. |
Very empty hearsay article. No concrete stuff. |
'Do you have another job offer or interviews apart from this'- Meaning, we know we will not take you, do you have hope?? |
The real Olori. Long live mama. |
barcanista:Comprehension is not your strong point. Where in his post did he mention Buhari impeaching Mimiko? Is Buhari now the constitution? The word dumb best describes you. |
segzyj:He's not in their party. |
Please move this to the fp, and lets vote massively for this girl. she scored one and had one assist today in the game between Liverpool and Man city. To vote for BBC Women's Footballer of the Year 2015 by SMS, text the number of the player you wish to vote for to +44 7786 20 20 04 . Text 1 for Veronica Boquete, 2 for Nadine Kessler, 3 for Kim Little, 4 for Marta and 5 for Asisat Oshoala. This wont cost you more than 100 naira! |
Duru1:The problem with the defence is not about the players, it is more about the tactics. The defensive midfielders are not disciplined, and the full backs as well. So when the ball gets pass the half way line, there is chaos. People do not hold their positions any longer. You may have Njoku coming back from her foray upwards, and no midfielder covering for her. The solution is NEVER to play a high line of defence when you have intelligent opponents. The team is balanced enough to play a 4-5-1 with the ability to break into 4-3-3 when the opponent is on the backfoot. Asisat's backtracking is key to this formation. |
Duru1:I wont leave out Ikidi for njoku. Sarah Michael is good to go too. Umotong and Dike too alike. |
CFCman:Esther Sunday and Sarah Nnodim are the ones not in the water. I think Ihezuo will make the team. The coaches and senior players seem to like her around. |
YOUWIN, SUreP, and all the scams of GEJ will die on may 29. Nigerians deserve more than scams. |
Nigeria was drowning, the whole body immersed in aqua of corruption. In her desperate attempt to save herself, she managed to raise a finger on the 28th of March. Buhari grabbed the finger, and with military might, is gradually pulling Nigeria out of the mess she found herself in. |
Know your falcons! Identify who you can from these pix...the girls are in camp, and one is still at her club.
|
dodobytes:No I dont think she's ready for the big stage. Already, that team is over 50% U20s. Thats going to tell when they play experienced sides. Courtney can go there as a sub and learn the game more. |
CFCfan:lol. We got so carried away and ended up having more strikers than defenders. I will think the coach will divide it thus: 3 goalies (Dede, Whyte, Alaba Jonathan?) 8 defenders (Ebi, Ohale, Nwabuoku, Njoku, Ikidi, Ofoegbu,...) 4 central midfielders (Cecilia Nku, Halimatu Ayinde, Ngozi Okobi, Osas Igbinovia) 4 wingers (Sunday Esther, Asisat Oshoala, Francesca Ordega, Uchechi Sunday) 2 strikers (Desire Oparanozie, and Perpetua Nkwocha / Sarah Michael) 2 Utility players (Adeboyejo, Sarah Michael) |
I think 36 players have been invited to camp, and will be trimmed down to 23. As usual, 3 goalies and 20 outfield players. I can pencil down at least 15 players who have already put their names on the final list. 1. Precious Dede 2. Ebubele Whyte 3. Asisat Oshoala 4. Desire Oparanozie 5. Ohale Osinachi 6. Francisca Ordega 7. Onome Eni 8. Evelyn Nwabuoku (captain) 9. Ugo Njoku 10. Halimatu Ayinde 11. Ngozi Okobi 12. Esther Sunday 13. Sarah Michael 14. Faith Ikidi 15. Yetunde Adeboyejo (?) Add your own. |
bambostic should be invited here... |
Danycrusoe:Too young. Still growing. One for next world cup. |
dodobytes:I think Uchechi Sunday was at the last senior world cup. Also, I think Coach Okon has got his preferences, so he seems to have zeroed his mind (just like Siasia was adamant). We sure have capable hands in almost every department this time around. The defence is perhaps the weakest link. Perhaps the best thing about our falcons is the seemingly smooth transition from junior to senior. Mainly because the U20s are quite energetic and matured. Rita Chikwelu would have been a difficult player to replace, but we forgot her as soon as Halimatu Ayinde showed her stuff! Okobi too! Which brings me to the question of foreign...trainer and psychologist. Someone needs to give these girls the warrior mentality, to go seige like. The physicality is there, the skill is there and sure the will is needed. Asisat Oshoala granted an interview in Liverpool, where she maintained that the English league is not as skillful as Nigerian league. What we lack is funds and 'cosmetics'. |
isaiah9:They are all on Fifa website. Go to competitions and click womens world cup. There you can scroll to the bottom of the page for previous editions. Click on the matches and you will see the videos of each match. |
So I spent my lunch time watching Super falcons matches from the past 3 world cups. They lost by 1 goal everytime, and they always seem to be the dominant team! This says a lot about the technical aspect of their game. I believe they will be more alert this time around. Moreso, the strike force has come of age. Oparanozie, Oshoala, Esther Sunday as a pacy front 3 will cause anyone problems anyday. |
Very very possible. My only worry is that there are stretches of road where he will have to walk at least 2 days before he gets to the next town. |
Shekinah2015:Rita has lost form. We however have several players abroad who can enter the team. In the swedish league alone, we have Sarah Michael, and mama Nkwocha. I think the coach should extend invitation to them too. |
Nigeria will get a minimum of 5 points from the first round of matches. The progression of matches between Nigeria and USA has shown that the gap is as good as closed. It will all come down to attention to details on the day. My biggest worry is the choice of goalkeeper by the coach Okon. Precious Dede is still the best we have, not minding her age. She is assured and still agile, though her reflexes are giving way. Whyte is good, but fumbles set pieces alot. Foreign coaches will easily spot this. However, I am very happy that for the 1st time in a long time, we have a super falcons team that is near 100% complete. From defence to attack, the team is ready. Halimatu Ayinde...the calm jayjay okocha of the falcons. |
It seems that the Liverpool media team might have made a mistake when they allowed the general public to participate in selecting the club's Player of the Year. Reds fans have been called upon to cast their vote for their team's stand-out player ahead of Liverpool FC's Players' Awards, needing to enter an email address and select their pick from a drop-down list. But at no point are supporters asked to prove they follow Liverpool - and rival fans are having a field day. The hashtag #VoteBalotelli has since been created and both Manchester United and Arsenal supporters have taken to social media urging fellow fans to help hijack the poll. Whilst Balotelli might possibly think he was genuinely deserving of the award, the truth is he has had a difficult start to life at Anfield since joining in the summer, scoring one Premier League goal and getting caught up in a handful of controversies. The Italian snatched the ball off acting captain Jordan Henderson and assumed penalty-taking duties in the late stages of a Europa League match earlier this year and was also caught up in an anti-Semitic storm following a contentious Instagram post. |
