Politics › Re: How Far Can Jonathan Go In Southwest? by olapluto(m): 1:13pm On Dec 14, 2014
It is set in sand that GEJ will not win SW. I can say boldly that GEJ will struggle to get 30% of valid votes in SW. In my state Osun, GEJ will not get 25%. Ondo and Ekiti will be his best showing and he wont get 40% there. Lagos, Ogun and Oyo will be nearly the same percentage: hovering around 30% margin.

But in PDP, 16 is greater than 19. Also 7 is greater than 19. So I hereby declare KORO the WINNER!!!

WhiteTechnology:
I watched it

He said he will stabilize the oil market.

Stop thinking we are fools.
You are a fool if you cannot differentiate between stabilising oil market and stabilising prices of oil.
Let me quote Buhari as it is in this video (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se5tpOLkUyU&index=20&list=UUEXGDNclvmg6RW0vipJYsTQ )
" I think it is absolutely necessary to make people accountable....we heard about the mismanagement of the oil industry which accounts for 95% of our earnings. Thus we need to stabilise the oil market because other sectors will take time. The immediate plan is to stabilise the oil market and (thus) stop wastages. But without accountability, even if oil sells at over 110 dollar per barrel, it will still mean nothing"

Now tell me how that means Buhari intends to stabilise oil prices.

Are U a clown?
Did You watch the Interview granted him by Channels Television?

U must be a deluded Sycophant/ slowpoke.
Having watched the full interview, I challenge you to tell me exactly where Buhari said such nonsense. Otherwise, you're a pathetic liar.
Business › Re: General Buhari Promises To Stabilize Oil Price If He Comes Into Power. by olapluto(m): 3:36pm On Dec 08, 2014
PDP and its dependence on lies. NOWHERE in those links did Buhari say such nonsense. I challenge the OP to say in which video and at what minute Buhari mentioned stabilising the price of oil.
\\why do you keep insulting yourself as a person of poor listening and understanding skills?
Politics › Re: How Is Buhari Better Than GEJ: Are Nigerians Daft? by olapluto(m): 3:29pm On Dec 08, 2014
OP You are either half baked or poorly molded. Buhari NEVER said he will stabilise the price of OIL. NEVER!

Politics › Re: About Time, Mrs Buhari Campaigns For Her Husband. by olapluto(m): 3:14pm On Dec 05, 2014
It seems all forces are helping out Buhari this time around. Things have changed. His campaign is more strategic and clearer. I watched his advert on Channels TV yesterday. Clear to point, no patronising.
Unlike PDP's GEJ advert which further breeds division. 'we that are with you are far more than those against you'- I mean what nonsense!

On a side note, APC seems to have a very solid structure in major states in Nigeria. Surely this is a big big plus in the presidential election for APC.

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Naira Falls To Record Low Of 183.05 Against The Dollar- Reuters by olapluto(m): 2:37pm On Dec 01, 2014
By the time TAN is given the full campaign money, and other parasitic organisations come forward to collect their shares, naira will fall even more. It is not rocket science that GEJ is plundering our reserves at a rate never seen before. In the 4 years of GEJ, crude prices rose to the maximum. During that period, GEJ used to claim that he 'stabilised' the naira. Now it is clear that he actually soiled the naira.

Politics › Re: Photos From President Jonathan's Visit To OAU Today by olapluto(m): 10:35pm On Nov 28, 2014
From what I gathered, the students ONLY asked that GEJ comes down and address them. A leader worth his salt will do that as courtesy. You come to use OAU campus, but ignore the students.
I think GEJ was scared of the students and the best he could do was to collect protest letter from the SUG guys.

Politics › Re: Are we loosing Our dignity as a Nation by insulting the Presidency?? by olapluto(m): 10:45pm On Nov 27, 2014
The president insults Nigerians on a daily basis. #BringbackGoodluckJonathan is an insult on all Nigerians, calling himself the best ever is an insult on Nigerians alive and dead. Blaming Nigerians for everything he caused is an insult to Nigerians.
When we have a president who sleeps and wakes up insulting Nigerians, I think the least he deserves is a call out.

What an elder can see sitting down, a kid will not see it even if he stands on a tree. I just cannot imagine if PDP had control of Lagos since 1999. They would have been giving okada to Lagosians as democracy dividends. Maybe the heavens are helping Nigeria's democracy by still keeping PDP awa from Lagos.

Fast forward 2 weeks after DSS were sent by PDP to harrass opposition, the news was given light to lend credence to PDP's gimmick

PerfectlyPerfect:
words of wisdom.
in a situation where the nigerian political landscape is perfect, what other recommendations do you have on ending the insurgency?
Dealing specifically with BH, I will:
1. try to establish the religious leader of the group and try to know his idealogival school of thought. The same school of thought that makes it OK to kill people. I will then find scholars who can quash this idea and come up with better ideas. Once the ideological war is won, things become easier.
2. Have to decide if I want the group to pay for its sins or to go and sin no more. I believe they should pay. This is where I will draw my military plan.
3. Firstly, I will publicly apologise for the misbehavior of the army on innocent civilians so far.
I think the NA is recruiting indirectly for BH. The army puts the civilians caught within the war zone in a lose lose situation. If you are caught by the army, na die. If BH catch u, na die too. The youths of places like Bama who initially abhored BH had no choice but to join the group due to the action of the army
4. My attack will be first to secure the borders and prevent 'spillage of militants into other parts of Nigeria'. Once contained, I will get a full coordinate of the location of the heads of the group. Also NAF will help provide air patrol (key is the border areas)
5. Get as many local hunters as are willing. Contract them and offer them money. Minimum 50k naira per head.
Also visit the battalions and boost their morale. Treat the families of the dead well, give money to the families of those on the frontline and let they know they are not fighting in vain.

PerfectlyPerfect:
thanks for clarifying me on that, though i still believe that the blame should be on the individual; Ali Sheriff, instead of blaming PDP. the sins of the few shouldn't be allowed to affect the many
No, it is not just Ali Sheriff. Check out other PDP governed states. They seem to always have this thug back up. When PDP held sway in the SW, thugs and NURTW were in charge.
In contrast, look at Osun state, with Aregbesola and Taawun. Taawun is a religious body, supported Aregbesola's reelection. You will however, never find Taawun breaking the law in Iwo and getting away with it. The other day, when Taawun arrested some fraudsters, they handed them over to police.
It seems to me that PDP gets away with everything and anything, so they believe they can use thugs and militants whenever they like. Currently, it is the police and SSS being used at the national level. We've already had the rogue police commisioner Mbu who was issuing directives at variance with the IG.

PerfectlyPerfect:
no one can conclusively prove that the PDP or any other party is responsible for this insurgency. all we get are mere speculations, side-talks and accusations. isn't it also possible that the real sponsors of boko haram sow the seeds of political divisions to create disunity and throw the blames on the political parties while they carry out their nefarious activities
I was listening to lectures by a cleric about the origin of Boko Haram. BH were just a group of men and women who had their own ideology and followership. Ali Modu Sheriff used them to get to the post of governor. He financed BH, gave them a state commisioner, and promised many other things. Believe me, without Sheriff funding, BH and its leader Yusuf, will still be a few group of people who give lectures in Arabic village, Maiduguri. I am 100% confident that there is still a very direct line of communication between Shekau and core aides of Sheriff.
