He doesn't have a reputation for honesty and truth, and anything that'd come out of that man regarding those he'd showed injustice would be tainted. This is a man who call himself a pastor and was caught using a fake name (Wendell Simlin) to link the current Emir of Kano to Boko Haram. Do you know the implications of such behaviors? Is that a man you want me to take serious or recommend to others?
That was politics,Look, kano is cheating other states generating the money, its pure and simple.

What's Omokri's records as regard Kano or the North's interests. A green snake cannot have our interest at heart.

do you know that MOST expatriates we have in Nigeria are management inclined expatriates (that is after the oil and drilling engineers and fields of that sort) and why do you think that is so?

I know of a good number of Indians whom are in Nigeria for management roles

yes STEM is important
Do you know why the country does not have medical equipments?have you heard of an equipment called cyber knife?it is only 2countries that have it in the whole of africa.do you know why?

BUT WE NEED MUCH MORE THAN STEM

The majority I have met don't have degrees, but technical education, only Indians family business culture in Nigeria is like that ,because they do accounting, sales and manufacturing and Nigerians has labour. The wife is an accountant, the sons are sales and marketing and the father runs the factory with Nigerians labourers, because they don't trust Nigerians. You don't see clearly the problems of the country.our problems are critical ,you need to take all the problems of society into the class room and produce graduates to fix them.i hate to always see a white man in big projects in Nigeria.

this mentality is a very terrible one to have undecided

How can you say we need STEM only?

We need STEM quite alright, but we need much more than just STEM undecided
Take a look at the critical sectors in Nigeria, and you see that our citizens are not participating.exploration of the oil?refining the oil?shipping the oil?mostly foreigners earning more than locals.lebanse dominate construction and building,Chinese dominate construction ,minning ,trade and manufacturering.indians manufacturer in Nigeria .we need stem in an under developed country.

we need a balance that cuts across fields....

Economics is a very important field, and we need more solid economists in Nigeria

we need a whole range of fields, not just the science ones
We need STEM only

Even pilots that just came back ,nobody wants to give them their first opportunity , some doctors also are unemployed.

In fact, government sponsors academically bright Nigerians to UK Schools every years for masters, from the oil money just to fulfill all righteousness. That money could be use to improve our Universities and have other nationals come to Nigeria for studies too.
It is also good but we don't use them for nation building,China for example has PhD students in every developed country, and the PhD student had been mandated to send any new innovation to a particular department of government and they must produce a prototype within 24hrs and continue further research .And again you are very important to the Chinese government if you have received education from Russia,u.s,uk,infact they want you to work in a government department. Here go to NNPC headquaters and see the dress code and language they speak.

Yea,nigerians started going to kenya, tanzania, india, ghana, morrocco, gambia, benin republic because of the funny system we have created here.a student in a part of nigeria gains admissions with low marks, while in other zones people find it difficult.Fees add to the GDP of unitedkingdom, students pay rent, transport and feed ,attend hospitals, etc. These money could have been spent somewhere in nigeria.

Lols. With the obvious fact that some regions are taking Nigeria education backward, and their elites will rather have them as almajiris and instrument to amass massive votes during election. It's time we need to separate the crumbs from the main
Yea implementatioj of jamb was a deliberate act to centralize admissions ,and slow down other regions. The effect was that people left to other countries and some people that tried more than 6times gave up and learnt a trade.

Yes, this can happen --though it depends on your definition of a few years. It will be very hard to displace UCT, Wits, Stellebosch..I've been to some of these places.

However, if Covenant continues this way, with the money they are pumping and their insight, they will reach top 3 is a few years. I think it will be relatively easier to displace Makarere and Kwazulunatal.. But UCT, Wits and Stellenbosch, e go hard in the short term
Budget size and research out put will go a long way.

truly, if not for the language barrier, Germany would have been the best to stay out of the 2 countries. Though, Canada is bigger in size, but you cannot compare the technology in Germany to Canada. As for the UK to be compared to Germany, it's like comparing Lagos to Abeokuta. UK cannot even stand side by side with France, not to talk of Germany. If I decided again to relocate to another country, it will definitely be GERMANY.
