Restructuring is a perfect vision that originated from the well meaning people of the South West , and then the south east. But all of a sudden, Tinubu became selfish and killed the vision. Tinubus personal ambition became the vision . It's a pithy. Now the the north is seriously scheming for 2023.

For those who don't understand restructuring let me give you an example. Under restructuring, Ondo state will have the power to build its own railway with an increased federal allocation without depending or waiting for donkey years for Federal government to do so.
huhhuhhuhwhich type of structure is this ?

I must say that the writer's article is not true and is very much out of date.

I travel somewhat frequently (more frequently before than nowadays) and can say that the Lagos airport at least is not this way now (never flown international from Abuja).

No-one searches your luggage by hand anymore, they just scan it in at the point of entry into the airport, then after that you don't meet any other official government agency till you get to passport control after dealing with the airlines and checking in baggage. In my recent years of travelling international, they do sometimes ask me "Oga, anything for us?" while stamping my passport, to which I sometimes reply "Next time" or drop if I feel like, but again, I repeat, I have never felt pressured to do so. And whenever I say "Next time", they smile and wave me through. I've never been extorted at passport control ever.

Even in the bad old days of hand searching luggage when they used to bring out all the foodstuff and other stuff we carry, dropping a well-placed 200 naira note was more of an irritating toll than blatant in-your-face extortion, and anytime I travelled light I never faced any disturbance. I am aware that others might not have had things this smooth in the old days when the airport was a mess, but they've cleaned it up now.

All in all this article does NOT reflect the true state of affairs at Lagos Airport NOW.
Talk for yourself and not for everybody,it always depends on the time of travel and people on duty.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo is to collect data on all positions and their distributions in all federal ministries , agencies and parastatals with a view to ensuring fair distribution to all parts of the country.

The group will also investigate the ownership of all Oil blocs in Niger Delta to ensure no part of the country dominate the sector.

The Spokesman of the group Chuks Ibegbu advised the federal character commission to ensure fair representation of all sections of the country in the country’s commonwealth without sacrificing merit however .

He lauded the recent court ruling for a uniform cut off point in tertiary schools and federal government colleges admission.

He lamented that the unjust disparity hitherto has wrought unfair hardship on students seeking admission to federal institutions from the South East in particular and the South in general.

Ibegbu noted that the group will also investigate the ownership of all oil blocs in the Niger Delta to ensure no part of the country dominate the sector.

On the issue of Senate Presidency or Speaker of the federal House now raging on , Ibegbu noted that what Ndigbo need most is Restructuring of Nigeria and not who occupies what position which only benefit the occupant as in the past.

“We are not much interested in positions now but what our people , the common Igbo masses benefit from the country in its entirety,” Ibegbu insisted.

He noted that Ohanaeze leadership will meet very soon to take stock of the last elections and react appropriately warning anybody purporting to speak on the issue on behalf of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to desist from so doing.

Ibegbu commiserated with the family of Prophet Chidi Mcjossy, the General Coordinator of the General Assembly of Igbo Christians [GAICON] who would be buried at Mbeke , Isiala Mbano , Imo State on Friday, 22nd March , 2019 .

Prophet Mcjossy was a staunch Imeobi member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and its spiritual advisor.

In another development, the Igbo International Easter Retreat would hold at a date and venue to be announced before Easter .

The theme of the 2019 Igbo International Easter Retreat is “Ndigbo After the 2019 Elections, The Way Forward”.

Who is who in Igbo land is expected at the Retreat.

Lagos has 20 local government ,ikorodu, badagry, oshodi, etiosa ,ibeju, mushin, surulere.you are very rigid and narrow so how will you understand that western Nigeria operated only in ikoyi and Victoria island.,the rest of the local government were western Nigeria.

Yes Awolowo did the free Education stuff but it had nothing to do or be compared with the progress of the Igbos then, Aba alone produced shies for the whole of west and Central Africa back then. Onitsha was the biggest market in the whole of Africa then. University if Nigeria Nsukka was the best University back then, Ojukwu's Father's rolls royce was hired by Nigeria to carry the Queen of England about when she visited Nigeria then. Ojukwu's father was the riches Nigerian then if not in Africa.
Lol!the way you measure development is different from the way I see it,you see human development from the context of money and not society has a whole.look if you had more industries you will pay customs duties and exercise duties including VAT which will reflect in the national purse, but as at this moment you don't contribute shit shi to the national purse.only Nigeria Delta and Southwest is feeding Nigeria.you contribute less than 5% to the national purse.you are not important to Nigeria, that is why when you shout baifra they send python .you don't have money.

You are developing industry in the capital city yet it looks dilapidated. Do you know what Igbos did with Aba back in those days. Only Aba could swallow whatever you had in Oyo then. Aba was the Japan of Africa then and you know that, a lot of companies sprang up in ABA then so dont even talk of industry. Capital vs Capital Enugu beat Oyo hands down.[/quote
