its alarming how you guys are ranting 'Good woman, real woman' who amongst you can stand your wife, mother or daughter doing this kind of work?

yes I commend the lady, but bricklaying is no woman's job..
You are not correct ,women in other countries do many types of jobs, vocational skills are not respected here in Nigeria .

Car Talk › Innoson Motors Nig Ltd Has Laid Off 50% Of Its Work Force by olas24u(op): 3:26pm On Jan 15, 2016
Yesterday, news broke that Innoson Motors Nig Ltd has laid off 50% of its work force, largely due to poor patronage and the harsh economic condition; no thanks to the fall of naira in the currency market.

According to the report, if things continue this way, the company might as well be on its way to folding up!

Innoson Motors is a purely indigenous automobile manufacturing firm, owned by Chief (Dr) Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, situated in Anambra state, South East Nigeria.

For me, the courage of this gentleman should be rewarded by the government and citizenry, by way of patronage.

The last administration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan did encourage him by purchasing IVM (Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing) automobiles for use by government functionaries . Ditto for Mr Peter Obi, erstwhile governor of Anambra state.http://www.newissuesmagazine.com/innoson-motors-the-shame-of-a-nation/

This is a mobile phone video of the announcement of PDP as winners of the Badagry Central Local Government Elections with over 7000 votes. LASIEC Chairman, Justice Adeyinka later announced a different result. The lady speaking in the video is the LASIEC Returning Officer for Badagry Central on Saturday 22nd October, 2011.
Awolowo provided free education in western Nigeria and we now have more educated people than before. In Lagos people went to school 2 times in a day before which increased enrollment and jakande also built structures to accelerate the processes. Its possible to provide free education that is needed in our environment. We can link education with the work place and people will get employed. Our roads are constructed by foreigners why?Our oil is being exploited by foreigners why?Our shipping industry does not even exist ,its mostly foreigners, airlines ?we need those types of education .we can educate people through technology if i have the resources in my local government ,we can reach 100,000 students and provide online libraries.so you dont need to buy anything expect a computer.it can be done .

One thing the south is united about is regional governance so there is no reason why it would be a lie......

Nigeria will only improve indeed through a miracle cos the reality on ground is one that will just take nowhere developed

Like you alluded once the system changes every thing will automatically improve
Maybe he was sincere ,but he was afraid ,we are going to die any ways and we need to die for something. The p alimentary system of government is better than this present presidential system and with the fall in oil prices we will experience a bad situation. Unitary federalism is also bad for us ,we need competition in all regions. My brother forget about tribes,we can build a country like dubia, turkey ,Egypt in Northern Nigeria ,while in eastern Nigeria we can build Hong kong, japan, taiwian and in western Nigeria we can build a financial center like London and have small Kuwait in Niger delta

The only alliance I want is with Truth and justice for all, but the Northerners won't hear of it

I am not interested in this Nigeria process where a region seeks to produce the President in order to develop his region better and it going round, where has that gotten us in the last 56 yearshuh??
But GEJ was the president and he did not do anything about it.He wanted a second term before restructuring Nigeria which might have been a lie.and secondly, the destruction of the the system that worked for us all was done my aguyi ironsi ,for what purpose if not greed and dominating others. But now you are also feeling it .The problem is the system and not the tribes

Tinubu is just playing smart here as though he is happy with buhari......

Yorubas have a strong proclivity to be two faced and buhari and el Rufai knows of this their uncanny disposition....they will never be able to oursnart the power hungry fulanis who will keep on colonising the oil wells and lagos sea ports until they have found quantum oil in Chad Basin and also dredged river Benue to the landlocked north

We will be here Insha Allah when will play blues after the raggae
You will need an alliance with northerners if you want to have the presidency ,you cannot do it alone, the oil wells are controlled by foreigners ,Does wells you wrote about are left overs.

Chi!!

These people must think we are all total idiots O!

Was it not Tinubu and co who were going round wooing those PDP governors (Amachi and co) to come and join them?

Was it not Tinubu and co who worked with the former PDP speaker of the house to attack GEJ and then accepted him into ACP?

But now that Saraki and co have shown Tinubu pepper he suddenly does not like PDP defectors to ACP. Haha Karma is a real bitch!!!!
But we all learnt from the senate president tussle ,you could see that pdp hijacked the senate using the name APC.You can also learn ,use that in dealing with humans

Oh yes, due to sharp drop in oil price FOREX income has dropped by over 60% , meaning FOREX expenditure mostly via imports must drop correspondingly. the deficit is becoming so much, that the use of FOREX reserve to make up the deficit will be unsustainable with out curtailing policies.
I think the previous government created loop holes in-which money was moving out of Nigeria,How can you still be importing food and allowing does Indians and Lebanese to reap the country .we can save foreign exchange from food imports, and food should be a form of national security because, life is short in Nigeria due to some of this food imported. we also need our own airline to save foreign exchange.

Buhari is the worst thing that happened to Nigeria. By 2019 Nigerian economy will be as battered and destroyed like the North East
so what exactly did he do to destroy the economy in less than a year?why was IMF in the country ,what were they doing here ,what did they discuss, all the foreign trips what did they discuss.china was ready to buy the whole oil fields in exchange for infrastructure development ,does it not make sense to sell the whole shit for infrastructural development before it becomes coal. This is politics

Buhari is in the mold of Julius Nyerere and Kenneth Kuanda: - honest leaders who left their economies in tatters.

Buhari's understanding of economics borders on zero. This restrictive foriegn exchange policies are adversely affecting all sectors of the economy and inflation is rearing its ugly head.

If these wrong headed policies continue for the next 18months, Buhari should kiss a 2nd term bye bye.

APC will give him only so long.

Businessmen will have a strong influence in politics from now on.

They won't take a risk on sentiments by hooting for a shoeless politician or simply a man of integrity.

They will root for a tested technocrat. I suspect the governor in Kaduna may be the man
You are not blaming GEJ,s economic team?production is the key to sustainable development, the pressure on the naira is due to imported goods and capital flight by foreigners and foreign companies in Nigeria.Buhari is on the right track .

Abacha government was a military era. Always unchallenged with lack of opposition and no check and balances but with GEJ under a democracy with every parastatals with check and balances, I will say GEJ is the worst president ever. And I think he pass abacha.
Though the abacha loot was far more and as well for him alone but GEJ own was to scatter unto which he admitted he has made people millionaires in his administaration as well as saying in a public forum he encourages stealing
MY ADMISSION is that the circumstances makes GEJ more painful and a slap on democracy
GEJ was not knowledgeable in economic management and had external representative has fiance minister while abacha,s finance minster was a Nigerian trained that educated Abacha on what to do . Abacha tried, but had a bad press and opposition due to the political crisis back then.
