My girlfriend and I have been dating since 2013 in Nigeria before she moved to Canada in 2015 as a P.R.
She intends to file a common law application for me but the issue is that she's on the verge of applying for her Citizenship but she's scared. She thinks filling for me as her common law partner might jeopardise her Citizenship application.

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has released guidelines to get the Yellow Fever card in 5 days. The yellow fever card is one of the important document that every traveler must have in his/her procession before traveling. These are the easy steps.

Get the New e-Yellow card in 5 simple steps

STEP 1: Visit www.yellowcard.health.gov.ng or www.yellowcardnigeria.com

STEP 2: Click on Yellow Card Application.

STEP 3: Fill in your personal information and click on submit button.

STEP 4: Click on the Payment button, generate your Remita Retrieval Receipt (RRR) code and pay the sum of N2,000 online (or go to the bank).

STEP 5: Take the payment receipt along with your international passport to any Port Health Services Office to get vaccinated and obtain the yellow card.

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers 1 year of age and older coming from a country with risk of Yellow Fever transmission.

The vaccination requirement is imposed by this country for protection against Yellow Fever since the principal mosquito vector Aedes aegypti is present in its territory.

A Yellow Fever certificate is valid 10 days after vaccination.

Existing and new Yellow Fever vaccination certificates are now valid for life. The World Health Organization announced that as of 11 July 2016, countries can no longer require travellers to show proof of re-vaccination or a booster dose as a condition of entry. Travellers should note that this new regulation may not be honoured by all border authorities during the transition phase

We all know that being unemployed can be frustrating. But our parents' added frustration can be annoyingly frustrating.

A 25yr old guy is expected to have at least, started earning something and planning his future.
My parents are the churchy type. As narrowly minded as they are, everything that happens to them or someone they know would always have a spiritual undertone.
I'm not an atheist. I'm a realist and I've always tried to explain to them that they need to stop ascribing spirituality to everything.

Since passing out early last year, I can't explain all I've gone through in the hands of my parents; my mum, most especially. She believes that my unemployment is due to 'ogun idile' (generational curses). Being my mum, I've always listened to her whenever she tells me to do anything because of the kinda love I have for her. She asked me to fast and for over 8months, no week passes that I won't fast twice or three times in the week. She suggested going to mountains and i can boldly say without mincing words that even some mountains are fed up of my coming. Prayers too have been on a 'per second billing' and going to church everyday has become a norm all in a bid to satisfying her. Yet, nothing has happened.

I'm not saying prayers don't work, I believe they do work. But it's high time our parents start seeing things from a realist view and cease from their myopic way of visualizing things.

Frustration and depression are likely to pop up during this trying times. Don't feel discouraged or downbeat if you're still unemployed. Keep updating the CV and keep sending that mail. Don't stop making new contacts and don't look down on anyone. Never stop learning new skills. You never can tell where the breakthrough is coming from.
I'm sure we all will be here soon enough to share our testimonies.

we've had our test here in Jos... we started about 10am, it was a 40mins cbt test. gatecrahsers were allowed since no much turn up for those invited, their profiles were created and they eventually took the test. good luck to us all.
