Why are some laws UNFORGIVING.... Shouldn't they be reviewed ....I'm a muslim though... |

manny4life: Um it is because it's either you're active or dormant, risk taker or not (you'd prefer the status quo which in this case is $1million......status quo means "the existing state of affairs"......... ..........so claiming that hitting the red button maintains ones status quo assumes that "everybody who hit the red button"was as rich as $1 million dollars......so their situation would not improve by doing such(i.e maintains their status quo)..... .......in clearer terms, they would not become richer Even people as rich as a million dollar would have their status quo( their financial state) improved......... Much less average people..... ......so you see, a million dollar would improve one's status quo But a hundred million, a hundred fold |
manny4life: Right now, there's 17 Red's and 12 GreenHow is "hitting the red button " equal to "maintaining their status quo" ......did the post say "assuming everybody is as rich as $1million dollars"? |
......RED BUTTON |
.....WHAT is this?...... ......sorry...... .....who IS THIS..... |
when u are going up an elevator with a BOKO boy .......and your phone rings "SOMEBODY SHOUT HALLELUYAH!!!!!!!" |
............i am claustrophobic i.e i feel very uneasy when i am too confined |
.......here it is.....
|
topmostg: Math gurus pls solve dis 4 me.........since the numerator is more than the denominator, u will have to go through the long division first....... ........To be shown sooooooooooooon |
cigie: Summation of (4*10^(n-1) + 4).......not so correct...... from your equation, the sum of the first two terms is 44.....first three terms,404 but 4+44=48 and 4+44+444=492 so u see it's quite wrong in fact,it is not even equal to the equation of the nth term..... ....the first term is 4 and making n=1 in your above equation gives 8........ ........so my question again is what the sum of the nth term of the series below ........4+44+444+4444+44444+......+nth ........note that the formula for the nth term in a series is different from the formula for the sum of the nth term of a series..... |
find the SUM of the nth term of the sequence.........4+44+444+4444+44444+444444+...... it was given as an assignment for us back then in pre-degree........ .......only me got the answer to it .......i felt fulfilled then......... ........I HOPE THERE ARE OTHER PERSONS WHO CAN SOLVE IT....... |
solomon111: the answer obeyed the equation.Naaaaaa. 6.2 was approximated to 6...,... Why didn't u use 6.2....or must u approximate..... 2 and 3 are the answers but it was dubiously gotten |
x+y=5..........(eqn 1) .......means that .....the summation of x and y is equal to 5...... Bracket in mathematics is used to group expressions......giving it the idea of a single number E.g (ABC)D=19.......this means that the product of A,B and C gives a number in that bracket whose product with D then gives 19 even though the product can be made in any other I.e product is associative....that is exactly what the example means..... (x+y)=5.....(eqn 2) means that the summation of x and y gives a number in that bracket which is equal to 5........ Therefore equation 1 is the same as equation 2 The bracket is not just written as the summation is between two numbers and a bracket in this case would appear redundant...... |
solomon111: That only applies when (x+y) is acting as a single variable, hence the bracket.Naaaaa its.the same x+y=5. Is the same as (x+y)=5 Try the same value for x and y in both equations..... What do u get.....try 2 and 3 |
solomon111: The fifth equation follows the principle/laws of logarithm. It is very essential to understand the meaning of "=" (equal to" ) in mathematics...... If AB=CD, Then AB+F=CD+F Therefore if (x+y)=5 only log (x+y) must be equal to log5 Log is another operation on its own |
It is very essential to understand the meaning of "=" (equal to" ) in mathematics...... If AB=CD, Then AB+F=CD+F Therefore if (x+y)=5 only log (x+y) must be equal to log5 |
solomon111: The fifth equation follows the principle/laws of logarithm..... the three above equations are correct...... But x+y=5 Cannot be said to be equal to logx+logy=log5..... and same to the remaining equations |
Youngsage: x + y =5 -------- eqn i..........hmmmmmmmm......... .........Quite dubious........ How is logx+logy=log5 How is logx^x+logy^y=log31 Why would you approximate 6.2 to 6.......can't I as well use 6.2...... |
LACKS VIGOR!!!!!!!!! |
