He said he has 3 units of mf70 by then but he don't have the cnc conversion kit that comprises the controller board, stepper motors and other accessories. I also get some contacts for the conversion kits ( not in naija) but what discourage me from the mf70 is its working area(width less than 5 cm). Note mf70 is mainly used for jeweries. Ken Burton, president of Panama City, Florida-based Stark Survival, a certified Air Force instructor, offers this advice for those who might find themselves underwater in their cars:

Open the window as fast as possible - before you hit the water, if you can, or immediately afterward.
Stay still, with your seat belt on, until the water in the car goes up to your chin. Then take several slow, deep breaths and hold one.
Do not try to open the door until the water has stopped flooding into the car. Initially, the water outside will put pressure on the door of up to 600 pounds a square inch, meaning you won't be able to open it from the inside. The pressure inside and outside the car should equalize about the time you start holding your breath.
If you can't open a door and you're trying to break a window instead, aim for a side window, never the windshield. Windshields are several layers thicker.
Don't take off your seat belt until you have opened a door or window. Grip the steering wheel before you unbuckle. You'll need something keeping you tethered so that you can pull yourself out of the car.
Once you're out of the vehicle, let your body take you to the surface. As Burton put it: "Don't worry about going up or down. When you take all those deep breaths and hold it, it's like you're inflating a balloon."
All of that, Burton said, should take about 30 seconds.

The fuss about the utterances of an official of the NSCDC still lingers in the air, and one tends to wonder why this is different and taking this long to clear up. The “showdown” was handled by various channels of expression with each one clinching to the issue long enough for it to be noticed. Now I know how much a customised T-shirt costs and that in music, there are no limits to creativity, it all depends on you.

Why then the much ado about nothing? Nigeria unarguably has had its own share of bad leadership, and this has evidently taken a toll on the genetics of its people, youths in particular. A careful observation will reveal that more Nigerian youths have become more involved and informed about the politics of this country. They have become more radical, desperate and rigorous for a change, and with the advent of social media, even those that are disinclined to politics have now become attached. These few channels and others have made the contempt for the leaders more confidently expressible, and through this, getting back at them have become at little cost. The feeling of contempt and frustration usually gives much of its task to any of its tools of expression, but this time, mockery came in handy. It is quite amazing how wild this frustration is growing and how well it has masked the manners and composure of the youths, killing one of the vital elements of the African culture ,“respect for the elderly”. But can their action be said to be unjustifiable? Maybe the impact of the economy is felt differently and what others have been made to pass through due to the inefficiency of some individuals is unimaginable, hence, reason for differences in reaction and response. Or maybe they don’t see them as elders after all and have recognised the circumstance in which the term “elders” applies. Or maybe the pain and suffering has become so excruciating that mockery doesn’t only have to be for children.

A perfect understanding of this will require that we know how many times we have been hit and to what extent it is the damage that has been done to this country. A peep into the judiciary system should get us started. It is not really “how much corruption” you find inside of it but rather “that which is corrupt”. Approaches to some economic problems appear to be ridiculously simple, so much so that you wonder maybe there is more to it, but the government is found busy with some other issue of irrelevance. Billions of Naira is spent on projects yearly, yet no effect is felt in the standards of living of the people except that they get worse, and the leaders, they have rather chosen to fasten themselves to the treasury of the country instead of getting to the real work. These people are much closer to the grave than are the youths, yet they are more willing to cling to life than is a day old baby. So one tend to wonder if there is something we don’t know.

Branding everybody in government as corrupt and incompetent may not be too reasonable but understandably; Nigerians can’t be blamed for being hypersensitive either. Yes maybe they went too far and were rash, unreasonable and inconsiderate, and maybe they were jobless too. But why would they vent their anger and frustration on him? Maybe that’s his own share of what the country throws at everybody, he should deal with it as some other individuals are dealing with things much worse. At least he didn’t become “incompetent” by mistake.

The situation of this country may require that we move our tolerance to negligence from zero to negative, where government officials should be criticized for doing something good when in fact they could have done it better. His “mistake” was close to unforgivable and I hope the leaders are considerate to understand why Nigerians were inconsiderate. You became silly first, and then we laughed. You can’t blame us for being natural. The obvious cure for our laughter is for you to “stop being silly”.

The office holders are well aware of the hatred Nigerians got for them.....
They are aware the public puts the blame on them.....so they feel insecure.....
Everybody would be willing to take a shot with a very good leader....and he wouldn't mind as well as he would be selfless ....he knows the people love him/her hence wouldn't feel insecure.....
Just might be difficult to find a Nigerian example of such since it's been a while since we had someone like that....
I doubt it if an average Nigerian bothers about from whom his daily meals come ....we usually tend to unite in common issues.....

.......the owner's login at the top right corner on www.thetradetown.com only gets me access to my account details(e.g the day it was bought,expires etc) on godaddy.com...........not to any cpanel.......and this makes sense cos we don't see the owners login on the homepage of every site......what i have there is just a page in the sub-domain of godaddy server to show that it has been bought(all others who bought names from them are also put in this category)

........it is the responsibility of the hosting company to provide u with the c panel..........not the domain name registrar's.......and with this u can add more pages, activate php. mysql etc.....

varying the different prices, options etc and the degree by which they should be varied depends on a number of factors.....

But before i go on to those factors, we should get some basic terms clear

SHARED HOSTING:In this kind of hosting, you are made to share the same server with others like you who bought domains from that company...prices can vary from 1500 naira to may be 4000naira per month(depending on some factors too e.g number of backups in case of a crash, bandwidth etc).....this method is suitable if ur website contains may be a hundred few pages....

DEDICATED SERVER:in this case, you have one server dedicated to you......YOU ONLY......though more expensive and more reliable.....i have heard of prices as low as 11K per month and also heard of 30K per month

YOUR WEBSITE: Some website are simple and basic(usually designed with HTML, css and JavaScript). i.e they contain only the very essentials which the designer wants to show to u(they are usually only informative).....they are less interactive..... and usually are for non commercial purposes(of course why would people want to go to a website that doesn't allow them to fill forms, add photos, chat etc..)e.g websites for schools, companies etc.....then a shared hosting is the best option for this
...Some other sites can be very interactive, database driven and complex(PHP, MySQL,ASP.NET etc)e.g YouTube, Google, Facebook etc....of which speed, security etc matter.....Nairaland is hosted on a dedicated server(no wonder it's fast).......i hear he pays like 30,000 naira per month for it.....I HEAR......
.....But still don't worry, even if your website is complex and large, u can start on a shared hosting but you will av to monitor the traffic, speed and response to determine if it would be necessary to move to a dedicated server.

YOUR POCKET: This is simple......if u don't have much, u will have to settle for a shared hosting.......whether complex or not.....

YOU DNA:Risk taker or "the very cautious"......this is where we vary.....people feel the effect of the economy differently and this has actually created a different degree of zeal in us on HITTING IT thru.......but it cannot be said that everybody is doing enough on his path to make his dream come true.......even though taking risk is not necessarily bad, it requires sound judgement..i mean one doesn't just have to do things because one thinks it has to be done....we ought to do our calculations e.g what if i lose all the money...no probs the money is mine....no i borrowed it from the bank.....

.....one can go for a less plan e.g 6 months depending on individuals' pocket............but whatever plan one decides to go for it should be known that ADVERTISEMENT and MARKETING should be VERY INTENSIVE at this period(if u require traffic on ur website)......cos u always want people to ur site when it is at its optimum performance....
.......so u see,u will also have to be ready to advertise online.Unless u think ur website will be a super hit immediately it launched.....u will require no advertisement.......e.g Facebook.......

this name will become a sub domain with those whom u bought it from.....
......you can buy it from any provider but it archived by only one body......so u really dont have to bother about from whom to get it.....
.....though it is advisable to buy from the very famous like godaddy.com...

i bought thetradetown.com last November but yet to be hosted...this page is on the server of godaddy(cos i bought it from them )
....try to click any link on the page and u will then be convinced that truly it in their sub-domain (see the url after click any link on it. it will be relative to godaddy.com)....

....i only get a page to work with (thetradetown.com)....cos i only paid for domain name and not hosting

hosting is actually moving that website to a domain in the server of the hosting company.....this way you can add more pages to ur website, your links become relative to ur home page e.g thetradetown.com/services......
other programs like php and mysql can be run on it
and because u now have a domain on ur own you make it to the top in search engines...

i bought my domain name for 1500....this is for a year i.e i will pay another 1500 naira this year November.....different plans are also available depending on ur plan.....e.g 2 years ,5 10........the longer the time. the more secure......

but hosting is usually taxed monthly .though u can pay in advance....
.....it can range from few thousand naira to 30 thousand naira per month depending on the type of hosting(shared, dedicated etc) and types of service...

some hosting company will help pay for ur domain name registration.......they will claim "free domain name registration"...but technically it's not......your domain name registration few would already have been added to ur hosting fee.Since it's cheap, u wouldn't notice this......so it's like saying "come to my computer school, it is free but u will have to get a form for 10,000 naira)....
i hear it's not usually the best method too....
......register ur domain name by urself first
......then go ahead with hosting when u are ready....
