Chechem: Goodevening House, Please I did my medicals on the 19th and biometrics on the 20th of this month. The biometrics was updated to "completed" same day.
I was advice by the clinic to upload a printout i was given with my application but when I explained that I have submitted my application already, they said I should find a way to send it across, which I have done through webform.
After about 2 days, I was sent my result through my email and from what I am seeing, everything is okay. Can I still upload the main result via webform too? Or they will see the one the clinic will send? Because in the email, they said it has been sent... They will see the one sent by the embassy but if you want a surreal send the one with you via webform to satisfy your conscience. |

chiboy2023: Hi everyone.
I have been following this thread since December and i am grateful i did. I have learned so much.
Please i need an advice regarding my unique case.
I have an accountancy degree obtained in 2014
For which i did my nysc between 2017 and 2018
I enrolled for a second bsc degree computer science in 2016 , graduated 2020 .
I was already an arts student when i discovered my passion for software. That's why i went for the cs degree
Now my issue :
I sought and got admission at ITD Canada to study web development in 2017. Applied for visa and was denied in 2018. Refusal reason, purpose of travel.
I DID NOT DISCLOSE ANY COMPLETED AND ONGOING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS LISTED ABOVE.
I Simply used my waec result to get the admission and to also apply for study permit.
The fact that i hold an accounting degree, studying CS in second year, doing nysc between 2017 & 2018....i skipped it all.
I thought it would not make sense going for a cert program in web development with an accounting degree. Or going for that while studying CS. I mainly enrolled in CS to learn programming. I was not getting this that's why i decided to look elsewhere.
After i was rejected, i sought admission to study software engineering at Greenwich University/fpt Vietnam. I got the admission and visa but later cancelled the trip because our newly registered real-estate company was developing it's first rental property and i needed to be on ground to supervise the project.
CURRENTLY :
I am married with a child. Wife is studying Mass Com, will graduate in few months.
I applied to two schools in Canada for masters in software engineering. I intend to make this trip with my family.
Now my question is does the above scenario count as misrepresentation ?. How do i navigate through this ?
I want to make a watertight application even intend on doing medicals in advance. Please i need serious help.
And ,
in terms of home ties i have a real estate entity. Been dealing in undeveloped lands since 2015. Developed first rental property in 2019 . Like very modern property 8 flats land title in my name... and also have a personal duplex of a year old.. would this count as sufficient home tie for family of 3 ? A unique case indeed. Well from my little knowledge you can always show all your academics credential since you are heading for a Master Degree in your new field. For your home tie your investment property are really good as one but you need to convince and show the VO whom will be handling your application why you need to take your wife and child on this trip. In light of your finance be ready to show surplus rather than accuracy or shortage of fund so the VO won’t think you investing virtually all your earning on this. Ensure the surplus is a reasonable amount and stress further to show how you wil be making reasonable amount while you in Canada for your study with your family. However you will need to show a tie of what you can never jettison like your aged parent and your company.. I believe with a solid ground and well drafted SOP you should have an edge. |

subzheero: Good evening everyone my application that was submitted on Jan 5 was refused 10mins ago .This is a very tight application packaged by one of the no 1 guru here.Am just confused.May intake POF 27m family of 4.First semester tuition already paid and application was refused for asset and financial situation .no lump sum everything was very ok .Seems application wasn't reviewed properly to me.
Please kindly help You have more than enough only if you have someone like your husband back home at this point while applying.. The particular VO might be skeptical While you all moving at ones.. And the duration of course is another thing you need to look into when calculating your expenses.. Sum up the total of your tuition, living expenses for main application, and each dependent. And remember you don’t have to let the VO see things from you spending almost what you have in your account for this journey. He’s concern you should have more than enough. Different VO with different psychological approach. |

Question now is, will #12m be enough for family of three. Please your kind opinion. Thanks It not even enough for the main applicant when he’s yet to deduct his tuition, Miscellaneous expenses, living expenses and others |

Kehindeafolabi: Yes. My sponsor’s ( husband)account statement is having 50m balance but I also submitted my own statement of account but doesn’t have anything. My refusal was based on insufficient fund. I don’t really understand what went wrong Try and show some funds too... They classify that as an autonomous consumer. At least show you an asset too via working and having some funds in your account even when your husband is sponsoring you. And in the light of ur finance let your husband send the money he’s supporting you with into your account and back it up with a deed. |

confido2017: Thanks a million. I just discussed with a friend who had tried Canada for Post graduate and he sd "l have to check the School then connect with a Professor with the intention of writing Project on a Topic before l can be admitted".
Canada Application fees you pay so the chances of applying to plenty Schools is rule out.
Pls do through more light, my first degree was Accounting but now want to switch to Nursing. How do l go about this. Thanks Let people who have gone in that trend advise you, I’m not in any way around the medical line so I don’t even know how to seek for the admission. |

I already have a B.Sc degree it's 3rd class. My agent advice l can go for undergraduate U1 program. I am 40+.
What are the chances of getting Visa?
I need ur advice plsssssss Apply to any school accepting third class for a reasonable career progression post graduate certificate. But if you the one drafting your SOP and you are confidence of convincing the VO why BSC at this age after a first degree instead you can shoot your shot. |

Secondly, I got admission to study at Red Deer College, Alberta. What is my prospect of getting a job there, especially a professional job?
Thank you as I await your response. You can get a professional job anywhere in Canada. If the exact location is not bringing the fortune, you can always look out and relocate to any other city is that’s you choice. |

Eddy4400: Please I need help with info on switching courses/school.
My sister was advised to apply for a course related to her current job in Nigeria, because her BSc degree was completed 10years ago. Note that she doesn't like her current job (Marketing in a Bank) and would like to switch to a totally different course/career in Canada. She already has admission for a Marketing Graduate Certificate with the help of an agent, as they insist she'll get a refusal if the course is not related to her current job. Next step is for her to pay acceptance fee which is non-refundable, then 1st year fees deposit of 9k CAD by June 2023.
My question, can she get another admission in the course she prefers, but apply for a study visa with the Marketing LOA then switch afterwards? At what point would she switch courses? After or before landing? Will she still report to the 1st school and will they refund 1st year fees deposit or it's money wasted? Has anyone done this at Postgraduate level?
Please help, so she doesn't waste her time and resources. Thanks in advance Firstly I need to let you know Marketing is lucrative in Canada. However if she does want Marketing she can always go for her choice of course but with a convincing SOP because of the gap and lack of progressing. However tell her to make sure if she’s changing her course it must be the same school within Canada or she loose her visa and start afresh. |

My advice is to talk your way through and agree on a reasonable amount with him to get an updated statement. To be candid ur visa is about to be approved. stevedestiny: Good morning house.. I have a situation and I need urgent response.
My Visa got approved August 03, but my admission had already been cancelled by my school due to not reporting for orientation before deadline date. I wasn't given option to defer because already deferred twice. I was asked to reapply which I did, but my new application was denied by the school.
My passport has been stamped, so I want to ask , will start the whole process of visa application if I get admission from another school? Or will this Visa still be valid? You can always reapply to the same school and if you have any other choice of course try that because you changing your DLI mean you will have to reapply for another study permit |

Adwoa816: Good day colleagues, pls I need your advice on this. My cousin had admission at centennial College earlier this year. He was required to make fee deposit somewhere June but he couldn't make it due to lack of funds. He applied for the study permit with was approved. A few days After getting his passport, he received a letter from centennial college that his admission has been revoked. Now our challenge is: 1. Do we need to inform IRCC about this recent change, (the fear is maybe his visa too can be revoked if we do) 2. He also applied for a new school and had been offered admission. Can he bring that to Canada since is a different school with a different DLI . With these questions lingering in our minds, we are not sure if he can run into any immigration issues. Please let me know your thoughts on that. I’ll advise he or she reapply to the same school if he really want to use the granted study visa to Canada. If he choose to change his or her DLI then he will need to reapply for another Study visa. |
