ultrazone: Thank you. Sadly, the full-time program is only a year. "The program consists of 15 courses which can be completed in approximately one year if taken on a full-time basis." @house, please I need suggestions. Is there anyone on a 2-year HR PGD program? Seems many of them are limited to a year duration. Thompson River University is also another option for HR 2 year PGD. |

technix: Hi scottish99, you could have done a little research before saying 'this is not fully correct'.
So, there are two types of evaluation: document-by-document and course-by-course evaluations. The former is for equivalency only and doesn't include courses and grades.
Secondly, NOT all schools accept WES, and I am attaching a proof here that McGill University IPN program is one them. I sent you a message on whatapp regarding the second application fee, hoping to hear from you ASAP. |

tuneao: Hello house I’m a graduate of university of lagos Nigeria with a 3rd class honors in Marine biology. Will i be able to apply for post graduate diploma or master’s…..Await your reply thanks. Bro just focus on graduate certificate and free masters because even those with over 4 point are still been rejected due to thousand of applications and competitive GPA. You can opt for any graduate certificate probably in your field and if you are presently working you can focus on career progression ... I think the guru will throw more light on what to do tho. |

Osemigho: GPA is only one of the admission criteria. Others may include your statement of purpose, Resume, recommendation letters, Availability of supervisor, etc. The refusal mail I got indicated due to competitive GPA. |

Osemigho: 3.6 CGPA is low, but most schools focus on your last two years of study. If the last two is not about or above 4/5, the chances are slim. You applied to two top universities. Is your last two years GPA above 4.0?
University of Calgary Economics department have a number of African graduate students, but you will have to qualify and be competitive for it based on the requirements stated on their webpage. Are you qualified and competitive? If no, please opt for a post diploma as a back up. My last 2 GP were 4.26 and 4.35 with a final CGPA of 4.28 yet Manitoba refuse me.. Pls is any Carleton university masters Student here or masters applicant here waiting to hear from them biko let connect. |

Teemie22: Hello house I need help. I applied to two universities for masters degree in Economics , Manitoba and Calgary. Manitoba application wasn’t successful, waiting on Calgary decision by March. I’d like to know if 3.6 CGPA can secure admission for Masters or just opt for Diploma. Also while waiting for Calgary decision, I need suggestions of schools to apply for September intake. Thanks
Bsc: Economics CGPA: 3.6 I applied to university of Manitoba masters of public administration with 4.28 and I was refused due to competitive GPA.. it all depend on the course you applying some department are highly competitive. |

tosynn007: @aOlashile, I also graduated with a 4.16 cgpa and was once in your shoes. Like you know, applying for a government related program (Pol. Sci and Public administration) is very competitive as most schools require a first class degree. I eventually had to switch to a business related program. If you feel you have enough time on your side, you can keep applying. a old time pal just began an MSC in HRM because she was unable to secure admission. Like I don't mean to discourage you but remember time is precious. Opt for a PGC(D) in Pol.sci/ Pad or switch to Biz Pls can you help me with schools that I can apply too for Msc HRM. I just want a 2 years course my brother. |
