ogbeche77: In recent weeks it has occurred to me that some Nairalanders from various section that I visit often have been conspicuously missing, The likes of Aloy emeka, tby, olawale, Dr Balogun, Mr Cork, just to mention a few.....reason might be because,I never go AWOL, neither was I ban. Just doing more of reading than posting. |
Gbamar: Nothing to post.I love learning from others.let others learn from you too. |
Gbamar: Wanted to read my books but decided to glance through Nl just for 30mins to cool the school stress but trust me i have been on this thread for an hour. WAO IT'S INTERESTING. I can't believe all i've been reading.expecting your contribution too. |
toba: u disclose yours first so there wouldnt be clash of interest. Who's the muslima in ur life?don't worry. You can start. Am very sure there won't be clash of interest. |
Jarus: Yet some bigoted and ignorant Nigerians are shouting down the introduction of this policy that is gaining currency in global finance.unlike you. @post,Jaiz is gradually gaining ground up north, with many of my Eastern brother forming the bulk of their customers. |
toba: hope it's not her. becos i go cause trouble for hiaDisclose this lady now, stop hiding her identity. |
Any more status updates to give people? Will keep you posted. Hold on a second Mr. Olawalebab! Do you know what this Hajia thinks of you- I mean is the interest and 'willingness to try' mutual?Don't really get the bolded. |
Mac,to be frank with you. alot have change. When the thread started, Am totally single, with no relationship and having none in mind. Alhamdulilah, there is an Hajia I see my better half in. Willing to give it a try. Though, the thread is sometimes funny, but through it am able to figure how our ladies are. |

A football coach who had high blood pressure was at the doctor’s office for a check-up. “Remember”, the doctor said, “don’t get excited, don’t get mad, and forget about football when you aroff the field”. “By the way”, he added, “tell me, how come you substituted your hardworking captain last Saturdawith 10 minutes to go and the score tied at 1-1? How could you have done that?” |
Mac and Toba, well done. |
Aregbe, tell them. The lord will continue to strengthen you. |
This Thread has just gone further to prove what we Igbos have been saying about the Yoruba for ages!! Cowardice should be a synonym for Yoruba in the dictionary
The bible says "Don't reply a fool, for you will all look alike" |
what the elders see while sitting, the young one can't see it even standing. @op, thanks for your wise decision. Yoruba leadership or Aare ona is not by election. When the time comes for that, a leader will emerge. Oodua a gbe e |
maclatunji: Why are you questioning the moderator? Don't you trust his judgement.hmmm, Just being curious |
MOD, what is happening, why hidden some post? |
Demdem: Off topic.I suspect the same thing. |

Beaf: If a countries economy is the 3rd fastest growing, but the masses do not feel it, then such growth is largely worthless.Beaf, u dey talk sense here. |
Maybe not a newbie, but not an elder like you sir. lol
Me, I be Old boy o. |
AjanleKoko: Again you don't get the point. And you are wrong there, manufacturing is not necessarily the engine of economic growth. Especially these days where the likes of India, China, and Malaysia can get things done cheaper. Commerce is the end product of manufacturing, isn't it? Whatever goods produced, are you not going to sell them?Try to understand my view point. Any economy that believe in only selling and not manufacturing is going no where. The example of countries you mention that are doing well are all manufacturing countries. The problem we face in the downstream sector of the economy where we resort to importing crude oil, is it not because of lack of manufacturing. When you help to sell an imported product. you have succeded in exporting employment and importing unemployment. An you know what will happen when an economy is facing unemployment (coupled with inflation). |
AjanleKoko: Everybody is just raking here, cos they feel the growth never touch them. When the environment is too stiff how is it possible to turn the growth to development? Have you venture in to new business of recent. (not commerce) real manufaturing. you will understand why people are angry. Mind you, real economy don't strive on commerce but production (manufacturing) |
