Agriculture / Re: Post Emergency Herbicide For Weed Control On My 6 Months Old Cassava Farm by olawooro: 12:24pm On Dec 04, 2018
kayxollar:
I need recommendation on a selective post emergency Herbicide that can be applied on my cassava farm of 6 months. i appreciate your advise in advance
There are lot of brands of contact herbicides you can use in your cassava farm in the market. Such as paraforce, dual, prowl, striker, select, weedkiler, and so on. Their effectiveness depends on the type of weeds in your farm. Some kill grass while some kill broad leave and perennial weeds.
But I can recommend PARAFORCE to you, it kills both grass and broad leaves weeds.

Your cassava is 6 month old, you don't need to worry about the type of selective herbicide to be used. Anyone you use is ok, if mistakenly touches your cassava it cannot affect them.

Even I can spray systemic herbicide perfectly in such a farm without letting the chemical touching the cassava. I am not saying you should use that one. Only an expert can do it.

Bros,you have said my mind..

But it doesnt just end at telling someone..
people should learn how to respond to such calls..
Depressed individuals usually won't reveal more than what Wale revealed up there..
His friends should have picked up on such suicidal attempts..
those friends of his were useless when he needed them the most.

I keep saying it. We are gradually building a dysfunctional society where people will be taking photographs of accident victims without rendering any help.
Where friendships are more virtual than real( friends living in the same town and only talking on social media for days without seeing each other..)

Whatever happened to that friend of Wale consoling him on whatsapp to have checked on him in person if they stay in the same Ilorin?
Whatever stopped him from calling anyone close to Wale to keep his company at that evening and keep his mind busy with words of encouragement?
Whatever happened to other friends on his timeline who saw his profile update of sniper and felt unconcerned or not crirtical?

Depression is real and people should help one another in the best way possible..
Preaching
They will always be looking for a way to shifting the blame on the innocent while trying to justifying the criminal that committed the crime.

It's not true. Pastors that have the word of truth don't beg people to give. People long for every opportunity to give to them.
They don't beg but they treathen as they did through that banner.

Come on! You can't say there is an aggressive campaign for tithing simply because you saw a banner in one out of thousands of RCCG parishes.
That statement isn't a new thing. I have heard a story of one of the people who had a revelation of heaven (I think she died and was taken to heaven) where she said that people who don't give their tithes are considered as armed robbers in heaven. I heard this over 5 years ago. Don't ask me about that. I didn't see the revelation by myself, so I can't verify that.
Moreover, the content of the banner is from the Bible. You can argue that the interpretation could be different, but it's a verse of the Bible they based it on.
Keep deceiving yourself.

Many so called pastor will soon go out of business when people are not paying tithe anymore. It is a matter of time

It's not true. There is no aggressive campaign for tithe payment. It's the online attacks by people like Freeze that makes it seem like there is an aggressive mobilisation for tithers.
The message of righteousness is being preached massively, these churches still carry out missions and outreaches to very remote areas, but you won't see such on the social media. Even their numerous projects for the poor will often go unannounced. That is the strategy of the devil. The same Freeze that always attacks Adeboye when he shows any sign of flamboyance kept mute when he was shown worshiping with a small, rural church. There are many more of such you won't see on the social media.
This particular banner, what does it represent?

So are those enlightened people now richer since they stopped giving their 10% to the church? Is the church poorer now that many people have been enlightened and have stopped giving?
These are some of the questions you should ask yourself.
Instead for the church to be aggressive in evangelism, in warning the sinners, murderers, treasury looters, robbers, kidnappers, ritualists, it is rather very aggressive in campaigning for tithe payment.

Oil subsidy must go

The main problem is the 800million that has to be paid in subsidy claims, IE the 800million difference between the cost of fuel and the cost importing it.

There is a solution to the problem. Allow marketers sell fuel at the price they want to sell. Yes. Fuel will sell as high as 300 naira per liter. Yes, life will get hard, but there will be no scarcity, no subsidy scams, and crucially long term prices will fall.

Oil subsidy must go. Since 2006, even since 1993!

Agriculture / We Can Help You Establish And Manage Your Crop Farm by olawooro: 10:27pm On Dec 02, 2018
Farming is a sustainable source of income with a great potential to creating wealth. Despite all the problems and challenges facing agriculture in Nigeria, it still remains the mainstay of the economy. A larger percentage of the populace is directly or indirectly dependent on agriculture as a means of livelihood, as it provides employment opportunities and serves as source of income generation for the teeming population.
A nation that fails to feed itself is not secure, as it will automatically depend on the hostile international community for food security. Although the successful governments in Nigeria have failed in their policies in agricultural sector, like every other sector, to solving the problems and challenges confronting agriculture in the country, be that as it may, government has a special interest in agriculture in which it wants every citizen to engage in commercial quantity. Even the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria that restrains all political office holders, public servants, members of the security agencies from running any business enterprise or sitting on the board of a company while still in the public service, allows and encourages them to engage in farming. (Fifth Schedule, Part 1 to the constitution. 2(b), 'a public officer shall not, except where he is not employed on full time basis, engage or participate in the management or running of any private business, profession or trade but nothing in this sub-paragraph shall prevent a public officer from engaging in farming')

The beginning of another planting season is around the corner, you too can engage in this profitable venture. You can commit your crop farm project, such as cassava, maize and plantain in our hands. We manage it for you from planting to harvest, while you keep going to your work.
We have the right skills and experience!

You had better don't allow these people to be fooling you.
What exactly does Nigeria manufacture? Car? electronics? computer? building materials? phones? clothing materials or agricultural equipment?

All their shout about 'we have stopped importation of food' is a mere propaganda. Was Nigeria importing cassava or yam before, that we are no longer importing?
Ask them to name such food, they can only name rice, whereas, over 50% of rice we consume is still being imported. We import frozen chicken and fish. Manufacturers of flour and semovita import wheat as raw material. What hell are they talking about?

Useless army. All what they know to do is to be flexing muscles with the civilians. And that is a sign of weakness and cowardice because any soldier that harass a civilian is weak and coward. It is good as they suffered humiliation from boko haram.

To Nigerian soldiers, the fear of boko haram is the beginning of wisdom.

Does it change the fact that a Northern boy of 14 can't stay a day without 1000mg of Tramadol?

I'm asking you. Does it change the fact that an average Northen boy of 13 is a murderer?

No tell me. Does this news change the fact that these hypocritical set of uneducated abokis are too inferior to IGBOs?

Quote me anywhere; 97% of people patronising that man are Northerners.

You sound too dumb. They are inferior to Igbo? You mean you're superior in dealing with nefarious activities? Indeed they are too inferior to you! Someone commit a criminal offence which is supposed to be condemned, you're claiming superiority of your tribe.

Northerners patronising him, but Igbo man is selling it.

Meanwhile, in India, Malaysia, Indonesia where Igbo are being arrested on daily basis over drug related offences, it is certain that the citizens of those countries are the one that actually patronising them, yet the seller is being arrested.
