after Security agents opened fire on

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu,

shooting of End SARS protesters.
Nigerian Army troops opened fire on

Danielnino00:Brian Idowu (Played all three games, 226 minutes) Made his Super Eagles only in November 2017 but started all three games from the left-side of defence. Had two poor games, the 1-2 loss to Croatia and his first-half performance in the 2-0 win over Iceland. Defended well sometimes but offered nothing going forward. Could lose his place if a better talent at left-back emerges for the Super Eagles. 3/10 Shehu Abdullahi (one game, 90 minutes) Started the World Cup as Super Eagles first choice right back but was dropped after a really poor first game against Croatia. Played without vim and verve in the 1-2 loss to Croatia, and was very easily beaten. 1/10 Tyronne Ebuehi (One game, 45 minutes) There have been lots of questions why he didn’t play much for the Super Eagles at the World Cup. Obviously the best fullback in the team but was on the bench for the whole of the first game and came on in the second half of the second game and had a huge influence on the game. Was really solid in his only 45 minutes of the World Cup, defended well and was a threat in attack. 4/10 Kenneth Omeruo (Played two games, 180 minutes) Was on the bench for the first game and came on in the second to have a really good game where he defended very well in a three-man defence system and capped his performance with an assist. For Nigeria’s third game, he was caught sleeping when Messi scored for Nigeria but managed to play well in that game as well. Has managed to play himself back into Gernot Rohr’s starting XI plans for the future. 4/10 William Troost-Ekong (Played three games, 360 minutes) Played the whole minutes of Super Eagles campaign at 2018 World Cup. Guilty of chaos and tidiness in equal measures. Couldn’t help out with set-pieces in the first game and was guilty of not staying alert to stop Marcos Rojo from scoring the winner in the 1-2 loss to Argentina that sent Nigeria out of the World Cup. Still, only 24 and is set to be very vital for the Super Eagles in years to come. 4/10 Leon Balogun (Three games, 360 minutes) Wa really a disappointment for the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup and was really their poorest central defender in Russia. Lacked the required leadership at the back, failed to deal with set pieces and struggled to cope with the pace for most parts of the three games. 3/10 Chidozie Awaziem (No games) A very fine and young defender, Awaziem didn’t get to play any game for the Super Eagles at the World Cup. Was a very needed figure for training sessions where he was very exciting. 0.5/10 Elderson Echiejile (No games) Ws very lucky to make the final 23-man squad for the World Cup and was on the bench all through. One of the veterans on the team and a respected voice in the dressing room. |

Olulong:is this what u are talking about their passing stats last season In the previous campaign, Ndidi and Partey cemented their importance to their respective side’s build-up, which undoubtedly reflects in the numbers. The Leicester man attempted 1649 passes, with 1416 reaching its intended target, an 85.9 completion rate. Furthermore, 138 of the Super Eagle’s attempts were sent into the final third, fourth in the Leicester squad and 29th in the league, while 74 were termed progressive. The Ghanaian, on the other hand, outdid his West African counterpart in volume of passes made but was edged for attempts completed – 1704 and 1414 respectively. However, Partey played 179 passes into the final third and as well as 186 progressive passes, highest and third- highest in the Atleti side |
TheGoodJoe:Tackling The pair are renowned for their strength in winning back possession or stopping opposition attacking midfielders but there was a chasm in both stars’ numbers last term. Unlike Partey, Ndidi was head and shoulders above many players for tackles made in the Premier League, with only Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka (138) attempting more tackles than the Nigeria star’s 125. The Leicester City man also won the second-highest tackles in the entire division with 76, behind only West Ham United’s Declan Rice. Partey, on the other hand, attempted 65 tackles throughout the season (29th in La Liga), winning 45 of his total, a 69.2 percent success rate. This was, interestingly, better than Ndidi’s who won 62.4 percent of his tackles. Interceptions & Blocks While the Atletico defensive midfielder ranked 12th in the Spanish top flight for interceptions with 52, his number was some way behind Ndidi’s 84, the top ranked Prem star in this category. The Leicester man didn’t have the most blocks in the division, but was still the Foxes’ top performer in this area, with 72, which placed him at 14th. Partey ranked 30th in La Liga for blocks made having stood in the path of a pass or shot 56 times. This was higher than all but two Atleti players – Saul Niguez and Renan Lodi. Passing In the previous campaign, Ndidi and Partey cemented their importance to their respective side’s build-up, which undoubtedly reflects in the numbers. However, Partey played 179 passes into the final third and as well as 186 progressive passes, highest and third- highest in the Atleti side. Ball retention & press resistance Whilst eye test will be the true measure of how these two excellent defensive midfielders fare, some statistics put their ability or otherwise to retain the ball and beat the opposition’s press into context. Ndidi miscontrolled the ball 18 times last term and was dispossessed 26 times, 0.61 and 0.88 times per 90, compared to Partey’s 20 miscontrols and 15 dispossessions, 0.71 and 0.53 per 90 respectively. Even though the Nigerian rarely gives the ball away, the Ghana man fares even better, evidenced by the numbers. Interestingly, the Atletico Madrid man played the highest volume of passes when pressed by an opponent with 298, although his West African counterpart outdid the 27-year-old having played 306 passes under pressure by an opponent, which was fourth-highest for the Foxes. Duels This is probably the area featuring the greatest disparity in both players. Partey not only won this category but floored the Nigeria anchorman. The Spanish-based player won 64 percent of his total tussles in La Liga to Ndidi’s 56 percent in the Premier League, despite the latter’s greater involvement per game which read 8.1 to 6.4 total duels won pg in the former Genk star’s favour. A breakdown of their battles showed that Partey won 61 percent of his ground duels and an impressive 71 percent of aerial challenges. Contrast this with the 23-year-old Nigerian who won 57 percent of ground tussles and 55 percent for aerial duels, despite being slightly taller than the more experienced Atletico man. Again, the Foxes midfielder wins more duels in both categories per match, but the gap in success rate is pretty remarkable all the same. |
dymusty86:pls which cheaper option how much does Ndidi earns at Leicester Partey is a far upgrade on Ndidi. Ndidi only knows how to tackles he doesn't give accurate passes which Partey is better at after Saul in Atletico his is the second best midfilder |

Former
Super Eagles
defender
Sam Sodje
has vowed
to convince
his godson
and nephew,
Tai Sodje to
pledge his
international
future to Nigeria over England.
Aged 17 and a first-year scholar at
Manchester City, Tai Sodje is literally in
the form of his life, scoring in each of
his first four starts for the Citizens in
the U18 Premier League, with the
highlight of his performance being the
hat-trick he scored against Liverpool on
September 26.
Capable of playing as an attacker and
winger, Tai has been likened to Arsenal
captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for
his similar playing style and goalscoring
prowess.
Sam Sodje has acknowledged that Tai
is more English than Nigerian but he
wants the highly-rated teenager to
follow in the footsteps of his uncles by
playing for the Super Eagles when he
comes of age.
Speaking to the Super Eagles Media
Team via YouTube, Sam Sodje said :
"I've got a young nephew who is half
English, half Nigerian, whom they see
as an English player but definitely I will
convince him and it's easy for me to
convince him because we've got a
good set up in Nigeria at the moment.
"His name is Tai Sodje, he plays for
Manchester City, he's 17 years old, top,
top striker.
"I don't need to sell him, he's going to
sell himself, he scored a hat-trick last
week against Liverpool U18s so he's a
player I'm looking to see him play for
Nigeria because it's different from me
as I grew up in this country so I
wanted to play here but he has been to
Nigeria once.
"He's more of an English boy than
Nigerian boy but he's got uncles like
myself that can tell him how it's a
dream come true to play for Nigeria."
Former Sheffield United youth-teamer
Tai Sodje is the leading marksman in
the U18 Premier League North and
South with six goals |

CULES WORLDWIDE, LET'S REASON
ALONG.
The last time Barca went a season
trophyless, a new coach was drafted in for
the following season, in person of Luis
Enrique, a new philosophy was adopted,
MSN grew like a roaring fire. We all knew
what happend that season.
Neymar had a shaky first season at Barca,
but that same following season, we all can
remember what happend.
Take a look at Coutinho for instance.
Coutinho is being reborn presently, Fati is
breaking unbelievable records, The squard
is young, and most importantly, The G.O.A.T
is smiling again, and enjoying himself.
Sergeant Koeman has no room for laziness
in his team, physically, mentally and even
defensively, his troops are playing as a unit.
Even Leo was seen in games, pressing down
the opposition.
The Season Is Still Young To Judge,
But The Early Signs Says A Lot |
