Seezzy: Hello fellow NL's. I was just going through "blind scan" on a "my tv (strong4669X)" this afternoon when...lo,and behold, i saw the decorder getting back the encrypted channel that disappered some months back.
Is only happening to my decoder,or... What do you guys have to say on this? Thanks.

godjohnson: hello guys,av got a 60cm dish lying around,i already have nilesat and pas 7/10 ku(dat satellite with emmanuel tv) on two seperate dishes. i'd like to know if i can track any other sattelite with the 60cm pan.my decoder is a strong 4661x mpeg 2 decoder.tanx in advance.

abelmike: @olenyi good day sir,i have an rs232 cable that connects decoder to decoder,and i just wanted to transfer from my pc to decoder,can i be able to attach a cable with usb head to the other end of the rs232? If yes, plz how should i go about it.thanks

solajacobs: I bought my srt 4669x almost 2 years ago and I have been using it ever since.
I have updated it using flash drive several time and it was always successful.
Recently, I updated it with version 3.03 and it went smoothly only to restart and start showing ----- sign.
All effort to use Strong to strong decoder update failed as it did not respond. I tried doing same with PC but its not updating and its not powering on beyond the ------ sign.
I took it to oshodi and they claimed that they changed the IC after which it started working with srt 4669x+ 2009 version of strong software.
I tried updating it to the latest version and it went back to the former condition of showing ----- sign and not responding to update.
Please my dear gurus, what can i do.

ESUT To Resume As ASUU Strike Continues
There are reports that Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has announced that all students must return back to school. Reports have it that the resumption will take place whether or not ASUU calls of the strike.
According to a source, it was confirmed to NGScholars that students are to resume back to school onMonday 18th, November 2013. Examination is expected to start the week that starts25th November, 2013. Students of ESUT should take note of this information

Are channels on amos 5 FTA if yes how can I track it

donmatin: pls help me,I av tried tracking multitv by placing my lnb under d dstv lnb didn't work,had to alter my TV position,now I can't track any one,neida mytv or multitv

ayibatonye: you should put the lnb under the Dstv lnb and you'll need another receiver for multitv tp 12535 v 27500

kingphemy: please what the tracking frequency for multi TV? I have been using the various tps where without success.

confirmed that the lnb us okay by using it to track Amos.

Henryceey: My location is Bayelsa,I track Eutelsat 7degree east with full 90cm dish and I get samanyolu tv,muvi tv,tv congo,occa africa,cctv news,cctv f,Tv zimbo,Mbc1&2,rts,Rtvge, with signal strength of 89%by54% and mbc is cracking,green is not constant and other has no problem,can some one help me out?
