darey501: plz dis 1 mytv paid channels dont work again in sr4663 decorder, plz iz d decoder now useless or watU'll need to by 4940 if u want to continue watching mytv channels as that is how mytv did it now. I believe u most have seen dia advert and announcements on ur screen. Regards. |

Cos i'v ever tracked it with mpeg4 using 65cm dish but all d channels there weren't showing so i tot i was on a wrong sat. Kindly guide me more on this. RegardsU can't get them with 60cm. 90cm up. And by the way, did u even bother to check up the link I gave u. Apart from me telling u, the link should have also told u its mpeg2. Regards. |

Jossyboy2580: Gud morning all, 2 days ago i nailed astra 2f with 12522v19531 and i got 75 to 76 % signal quality but a friend f mine has sumtin around 80 or so. I used my second dish to huk up ew4 dstv position and got (mbc2,cnn,atn,tbc,zee cenema,aljazera etc) they were aving dolar sign and stil showin while others like dubai sports nd co without dolar were givin no audio/video. My signal quality is around 75% also. Am using dis dish dat has space writen on it am thinkn it wil be 65%, pls how cn i manage dem cus i ve 1 lnb left wit me. Thanks in advance@jossyboy2580, Dia's nothing to manage dia. All ur setup are in order. So go ahead and enjoy it as it is. As for ur spare lnb, dis is what we do, put it under the Dstv lnb and use it to track joy tv (12522 v 19531) and find a way to tie it dia. Then use the other dish dat is focused on joy tv to track Amos (11881 v 27500). Just stand at the back of the dish and raise it up a bit and to ur right a little. When u hit green, try and bring up the signal as much as possible by fiddling the lnb and the dish. Then while still dia, check to make sure dat 11024 H 03333 is also green and at about 55 - 60%. It shouldn't be high. Den blindscan. The below picture will guide u on how to affix the spare lnb for joy tv on the Dstv dish. Regards.

Easy200: Pls gurus i need a strong tp for w3c/amos 5 mpeg 2 pls its urgent because i'm in the villa now to hunt NTA and AIT for my old papa roman001: with mpeg2 dcoder,it's a no go area for Ait n Nta.Exactly. They are mpeg4 signals. U should have made sure before going to the villa. But u could still get the other mpeg two signal/channels. Try 11881 v 27500. Regards. |

kama1210: brother thanks alot, i have just done that and i got joy tv and other stations....Set up ur 90cm dish and get joy tv as instructed above. Optimize the signal by fiddling with ur lnb to get the max signal possible. Then under Eutelsat w6, input 11881 v 27500. Then standing at the back of the dish, raise it up a bit and a little to ur right. When u hit green, tighten, and try to max the signal also. Then input 11024 H 03333. Make sure this is also green but don't optimize. Around 55 - 60% is enough. Go back and make sure that the first frequency is still over 75 - 80%. Then blindscan. When it must have saved all the channels, get ur Diseqc switch and connect this dish to port 1. Connect the joy tv dish to port 2. Then connect ur receiver to the receiver out port. Now go to menu, installation, select dish setting. select Eutelsat w6. Scroll down to the two Diseqc settings and set their port numbers to 1. Exit and save. Do the same for astra 1N/2abd and set the Diseqc to 2. Exit and save. Exit all and enjoy. Cheers. If u get all this in one go, then the ''spirit of FTA'' is in ur blood.  Regards. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Boadu: How did you go by your OTA menu upgrade?Its been like 3 - 4 days now since u started asking this same question. Permit me to ask; what have u tried. Have u tried out all the options and answers given to u here on the forum and it didn't work? I taught the thing is to first try what u were told and then come back with any peculiar difficulties u encountered along the way. It's getting somehow asking the same question over and over all over the threads even when solutions/answers has been proffered to u. Don't u think? Regards. |

almujeebe: can you compare tracking wif 4663 and 4922 ? which of d two is recommended by d oga trackerJust say ''YOU'' can not track with it. . Is it not about the same user interface with 4940 and all these new receiver's? We all know dat 4663x, for me, was the best receiver ever that strong produced. Both in terms of ruggedness, tracking, etc. But is not to say we can't track with 4922.  @kenneth4u205, u haven't given us feedback about ur progress. Were u later successful? Regards. |

Brite02: Secondly, whether it will disable patch after upgrade. Well that I don't know because I have never used/ or using a patch. So I guess for does who uses patch for biss key stuff this question is open for you.....U could easily find this out by pressing menu, installation. Is their an ''options'' submenu at the bottom of the list of menus under installation? If no, exit menu and press 6969 twice. Does it show ''patch off, patch on''? Go back to menu, installation. Is the options submenu now dia? Also while on any channel, try pressing 8280. Does it bring out the biss input interface. Regards. |

SULIEMAN3: @olenyi, to know how less common the reciever is, the person i contacted to get one from don't even know that there is such model.I know. It was briefly produced and then discontinued. Though one can still get it in the market but I doubt if its still the original ones. It was so bad a machine that guys ran away from it. U can't even track with it. U have to track with another rx then connect it. And it's turner reduces any signal u connect to it by 20%.
