I have a relative whose surname is wrongly spelt on NIMC slip.
The centre has not issued the slip that contains NIN info. When she called their attention to the error ,they told him they will correct it later.
I just want to confirm is it possible for the NIMC staff to correct the name since they have not issued the one that contains NIN or she should start the process again in another centre without telling them.
Please I need your candid advice.

I was at their office today, a lot of people had similar challenge and we're assisted by effecting the appropriate changes. She should visit their office not outlets for this purpose.

However, quiting a quest for equality of genders (a noble quest, I must say) cause women don't thrive to take care of themselves and be independent of men as much they should is like a doctor running away when he sees accident victims. Feminism is not all about chastising men and telling them how they should treat and make space for women. It's also about pushing women and telling them how they should thrive on their own. So what you mentioned as a reason for quiting feminism is actually part of the reason why were a feminist in the first place. You saw the problem you came to solve and you're running away. If Nigerian ladies were as resourceful as their male counterparts, they wouldn't be much need for feminists like yourself. Calling out lazy women, criticising ladies who feel entitiled, speaking against girls that trade their bodies for money, encouraging ladies to learn some skills, etc are as much the jobs of a feminist as criticizing men who treat women like second class citizens is.

Thetefore, I think what you need is not to quite the cause but to first review your definition of the concept of feminism and then decide afterwards if you can carry the cross.

I see a lot of people telling you to remain in your parents house for reasons that seems good. Thats their opinion. Life is a journey Bro. we crawl, then we stand, then we walk and then we run. The earlier a child starts the process of his/her own, the faster he will start moving on his own.
It will be abnormal when your mates are standing and you are still crawling. When they begin to walk you are still crawling. When they begin to run, you are still crawling. When they are preparing to write common entrance, then you take your first step. Its abnormal. The earlier you live your comfort zone, the better for you. In life there must be a time we take our eyes off the comfort of our parents house and start our own journey. Man-up. Take a decision to survive on your own no matter what. I moved out from my parents house late and it affected me negatively. I was relaxed while my mates were renting their apartments. Then they started marrying. Some now have kids. I was always thinking "there is still time, after all i am comfortable here, no need paying another rent in same city with them...." I am in my thirties now and just about getting an apartment. They warned me but i wouldn't listen, now i understand better. I started having issues with mom when she tried living my life for me, even though her plans weren't working for me, she tried to force it down my throat. At the end i left grudgingly and it affected our relationship but i don't care anymore. Leave peacefully while you can. Embark on your journey now so you can get to your destination on time

Good morning, I have been a nairaland guest for a long period of time, just recently decided to post and seek relevant opinions regarding my health. I contacted gonorrhea infection from my girlfriend in 2015 and ever since I have been battling with this ailment, reason been that I was poorly treated at the initial stage, and right now I am having serious complications with my throat, joints, my scrotum and even sometimes feels like I'm unstable with the nature of headaches I feel. All this years I have been on numerous antibiotics and even intravenous injections just to see this infection go away all to no avail after a period of relief. I don't know what else to do anymore. I have lost my trust for most ladies regards to their health and really do acknowledge my mistake sincerely. And over this years I haven't been in a romantic relationship, because I tend to push the ladies away from me, so that I dont get to infect them during sex. please what can I do in terms of drugs or herbal medicine for this challenge?
