the US did not create the situation. they went there to help,met those with common goals and helped them in their attempt to get rid of an enemy.
those groups were already in existence fighting for their country. US fought side by side with them, helped them against an invading enemy. that they decided to be radical Islamic terrorist after that is not US fault. I know you don't get trained in Nigeria to be GDPR compliant however since I have brought it to your knowledge try and read what it means and how it works, it is not about where the persons are based rather where the companies are based, now Google and Facebook are in the EU, so if the use ur data or bridge EU data protocol while using ur data from Nigeria, you can take them to the cleaners. Do you understand?
You do not have to be a resident in the EU. But cos we use data in the UK we all have to be trained and get a certificate for this so that staff could be held accountable.

I have read about it prior and i know what it entails in its entirety. There is something you still don't understand but i will make it clear, do you expect a local based company in Nigeria with only the locals are his target audience to take Google to court because of GDPR? It's not done that way, you can only do that if you company is EU based, or you are EU based or your target audience is EU based or something.
