Is it still under warranty?

SMS products have a 1 year warranty on there products, you should get hold of the company soon.

Good morning guys, please am in a kind of issue with my SMS hybrid inverter as am experiencing that the inverter goes to sleep often these days. Most of the time I have to do like hard reset by switching off the breaker between the inverter and solar panels if not it just stay below 30v but when I do the reset, the input panel voltage goes to 240+.
Those using this type of inverter, are you experiencing same or it's just my inverter.
I also noticed that when I switched the breaker to off, it hiss like when a drink gas out when you open the cover.
I have also swapped breaker and it's still the same experience.
Please note that all these started lately..

These question could help you better decide
1. Is the power meter or unmetered, i.e., if it is from NEPA or a serviced generator that turns on for just the four hours stated?
2. If your answer is yes to the latter, then you need to know how the loads in the office operate.
3. Armed with these answers, you can then decide which inverter you think would be of your preffered choice, cost range and can work with lithium easily.

A lithium battery would be the best I would recommend for you with an inverter with a high charging rate so you can more and faster within the four hour uptime of your available grid.

the reason is that victron has a passthrough relay or bypass if you may and they typically allows more current usage with grid.

With the mindset of other inverters, i was thinking overload should make things like mosfet or its kind to go bad.

The auto switch is gone , It was overloaded many times , Electric cooker microwave and water pump .

Very interested to see the Deye, i work with Pylontech often, and I have taken apart a couple of them, The types of the ones used in the Pylontech are quite unique, so to speak.

They're pure Deye Batteries, no combos. It appears the Deye Lithium Batteries are better built than the overrated Pylontec Batteries.

Hello, my JBD BMS will not allow charge or discharge and this happened after my 24V LIFEPO4 battery drained to zero percent (0%) (from Xiaoxing app). When the BMS is connected to the SCC, the voltage will rise quickly and register full charge delivering 0 amps. I charge it directly via the SCC to about 36% and still the BMS did not start. When I connected the load via inverter the voltage of 26.1V quickly drained to 17.3v and the inverter disconnected.
The specs of the BMS is (AP 20S006 20S 200A).
I tested charging the battery pack directly with SCC and also discharging with an inverter and it works.
It means it is the BMS that is the issue. I tried jump starting but it did not work or I didn't do it correctly.
Kindly help with the solution.

A lightning arrestor or trident install at the highest point on a property to be protected with a very low path of resistance to the ground.

This is to allow for a point where lightning can go instead of through your house as that one nah fire or die sef

Ideally, PV shouldn't but if it is grounded, with no lightning arrestor close by, it could be an attractor of lightning at times.

If you have the means, get another cable to supplement the existing one from the panels to the charge controller.

This is so you don't lose your current as heat due to cable size.

I already used an 8mm wires to run the solar into the house, does it mean I'll change that to 16mm or i just need to change the wire i used in connecting the panels together on the roof?

I have a 1kva inverter and 220mah Mpower Tubular fairly used battery for sale (bought newly January 2022). Selling price is 130k (30k Inverter and 100k battery). Get a 16mm² guage wire and connect all the solar panels in parallel since it is a PWM controller

A 12V panel is already 18V Vmp, which will charge your batteries just fine; at 24V, you will be losing a ton of power due to higher potential differences.

Remember you need 2 panel's to make 24v.
The system is a 12v (inverter and battery) charge controller is an automatic (12-48v) 60a

Please note that a DC SPD cannot protect you from a direct strike but rather the EMI derivative of the lightning strike at some distance close to you.

Yes! it is working fine.

Typically, solar panels will produce 85-70% at peak of their working conditions locally here.

You were doing 78% of your capacity, i'd say that's a good one.

Thanks bro. The thing is i upgraded my panels yesterday.. 6pieces 580w solar panel. 2 panels connected in series into 3 places. Thats 2_2_2 in series, all paralled together. I just put it under heavy load. My growatt charge controller displayed 2730watts pv input.. 18amps pv and 90v pv. Its a 48v inverter... 4 pieces 12v LA battery is series..

Since this move is likely to be observed manually, try to note or track the movement of the sun through the day and check if the better part of the sun moves over the proposed solar installation.

* warranty claims
* Aftersales support and other factors too relating with sub-region
* Voltage output differences.
* Logistics (Shipping cost)

Plus, quality is kind of relative to how much you can spend on a robust product. There are products available locally found in the EU and US markets known worldwide for their strong performance. For the lithium batteries, good brands here give their best too.

To answer your question
You need to have a solar consultant who will go on to recommend products that you can research and make an educated and informed decision on.
