I may not be not an HVAC expert but field test shows a bit from what you pointing to here
In summary a normal AC would deliver close to perfect programmed temperature while an inverter will work to comfort close to the set temperature.
BOTH cool so that's the win there.

Let me elaborate abit, An inverter and regular AC uses exactly same wattage no different 1 HP is 1 HP in terms of power. - NO! Only if the setting to work like a normal AC is choose by default it works at a lower power
So in the real sense in terms of power, you are not really saving anything with inverter AC Just saving the your inverter from surge startup. - Bear in mind that an Invert AC was made for power efficiency & not for inverter, with an inverter it makes more sense since the surge is out & energy is been saved due to it variable compressor architecture.
That's because, if it takes 5 hours to cool a room with 2 HP AC, your inverter can cool it in like 4- 4.5 hours but consumption is still the same. - I think you just answered the question with this paragraph
If your normal 2HP AC consume 2200W for 5 hrs neglecting compressor on & off time - then 11KWh have been used.
If an inverter AC 2HP runs for 5 hours also lets say it consume 1400W then 7KWh has been used.
And when you engage energy saving. Lol, it's like slowing your can from 100mph to 50mph, You will get to your destination but at a longer time doesn't mean you have save fuel. Same goes with inverter AC when you engage energy saving on a 2HP Ac you just turn it to 1.5HP or 1HP. Meaning if 2HP cool in 5 hours, 1HP would be 10+ hours.
With all the loads listed it will do roughly 2 hours just on battery, but with efficient load management, it will go for 24 hours non stop depending on your areas power supply. so it all rest on how well you plan to utilize the setup
Not sure how many years with solar but my experience in furniture says like 5 years and above but with constant sun bathing two years routine maintenance should keep it going

There is a possibility of the weather not been favourable and you by running the fridge all the way to night time, you depleted the battery to voltage noticed.

I forgot to turn off the fridge after sunset only to notice that by 7pm, my battery was indicating 50% on the inverter. Battery volt was 23.6V. As at 5pm, I was still getting 110Watts from the sun.
My overall load was around 250watts.
Is this normal for a battery that is just 2wks old?
Get a lacquer polish ... Unmixed and use as laminating film on the glass it should prevent want from entering
durodee: Good evening house. Is there a way to repair broken panels? There is a project ongoing somewhere and I noticed as the panels were being offloaded that some panels had broken glasses. Is there any way the could still be useful? They are 450w panels and quite a number of them. I am wondering if one can cover with new glass and seal the edges to prevent egress of water if that will work? Just thinking ........

No offense but your stance isn't looking like you serious about your project yet.
Why your energy estimation are rather vague than been precise ... If you plan being offgrid then you need a lot of preparation, real life simulation to project how & what to expect.
E.g. if I were to run that AC for 6pm-6am ... I will only run it @ 4 hours 17°C while I let 25-27°C be my sleeping temp, what this could mean is that the start & off of compressor ... Could reduce 4 hours & I have 8 hours running etc. - theoretically et.cetera
gracewealth007: Please I want to ask, if I want to go off grid and in addition to other normal house hold lightings and TV, I want to use 3 AC (one 2HP and two 1.5 HP) will a 60Kw battery and 12kw solar panel be sufficient? The ac will mostly be used during the day when weather is hot and the two 1.5 hp throughout the night. And all other basic household things like water heater, fridge, freezer, microwave also in the house.

fhranchez: Fellow solar enthusiasts, i recently bought a 200w Canadian solar panel from a vendor here coupled with a 30amps CC. The highest amps i have seen is 5.2amps and 4.5amps on a average Sunny day. I don't believe this is normal because the panel maximum amps is rated at 11.6amps.
Now my installer did not remove the mc4 connectors instead he only connected the wires at the edge of the mc4 connectors. I think this is the reason for the poor performance of the panels or is 4.5amps the best i should expect from my 200w panel?

1. I'd change the wire from the batteries to 16mm ASAP 2. I'd get a 10A 230Vac breaker and put that before connecting the AC supply to the inverter 3. I believe the 16A DC breaker is between the panels and the inverter while the 63A is between the batteries and the inverter? - YES

I have seen a fair share of installations that were poorly designed and installed, to know that going cheap isn't really an option when it comes to solar

I'm confused at the sizing
- 2 350W ground mounted solar panels connected in series with 9 meters of 10mm DC wire from panels to inverter - 16A DC 500Vdc Breaker
- 3kv 24V axpert inverter with 100VoC, 1000W rated power and 30 - 80vdc operating voltage - 63A DC 500Vdc Breaker
- 24v 100AH LiFePo4 battery pack (also connected with 10mm16mm wire to the inverter)
I haven't connected AC charging yet as I don't want nepa to damage my property with their random voltage. - 10A AC 230Vac Breaker assuming your charging power + actual power usage i.e. bypass isn't up to 2,200W @ 220V|10A

durodee: I have a hybrid Gennex 5kva in use now for more than a year. Being used commercially and as I suspect, being abused at my back regularly ( being overloaded with pumping machine/2 ACs until it trips etc). I have timers on the equipment to synchronize use, but it kept being overidden for one reason or another. So, I am already looking for a not too expensive replacement in case. Moreover, i need a backup as least but Deye is out of my pocket range now.
What will be your choice as per capacity, capability and costs between: 1) Gennex 2) Epever 3) Sorotec 4) Growat
By the way, my solar panels (12 pieces , 300w, Canadian solar) are configured for a high voltage cc (450v max input) and I will prefer not to change that if possible.
