Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has introduced a new billing sheet which highlights so many information including past payments at a glance.
The only downside is that there are some errors in the computer generated statements which the customer must bring to the notice of the company
Here is a copy of the new bill

I believe in PMB
This is the time we must ask our leaders to revisit their campaign promises as we are fed up with excuses.

In barely 30 days of governance, we have recorded well over 500 casualties not counting the wounded.

PMB cannot sit in Aso rock expecting us to be patient with him cuz he assured us of our security when we voted him now we are losing our people by the same BH GEJ almost extinguished although at thel dying minute of his regime.

PMB must take a drastic step to counter these daily rampage killing by BH and stop making appointments instead of fighting for our security. Relocating military control center to Borno is not helping at all

God bless Nigeria, God bless PMB

I believe in PMB
The reality of war is gradually dawning on more people in the NE of Nigeria but its unfortunate that our party leaders are busy fighting over positions while they were expected to snuff life out of BH.
PMB cannot do this alone but the people we expect to give him the all important support are busy tussling over positions.
GEJ did a lot towards the end of his regine to tackle BH only God knows why he waited for so long and we expect PMB to build on this and bring BH to its knees.

We cannot continue to play politics with lives of the people that voted them into government.

Nigeria was founded on agriculture but we abandoned it for the new bride called oil, now the bride is about to pack up with slump in oil prices our economy is in shambles cuz we are a mono-economy nation which is the most dumb thing to do.

May God help PMB to raise and push formidable policies to make agric buoyant again, cocoa form the west, cotton and groundnut from the north and palm oil from the east.

Politics › Re: Why Tinubu Boycotted APC NEC Meeting – Chieftain: The SUN by oloriooko(m): 5:45pm On Jul 04, 2015
I believe in PMB.
If this post is anything to go about then, APC has been hijacked from people that thought they held the reins of leadership of the party.
I will repeat this again, you cannot make the objective of a party "wrestling power from PDP" and expect such party to perform wonders.
APC failed to develop a formidable work plan, now the party is torn into shreads by the same power it craved to possess.
Its like the super Falcons in the last world cup, expended all energy in first match and became toothless in other matches.
APC expended all its arsenal at the pools now left with virtually nothing for at the slightest touch of disagreement, the party is shaken to it's foundation.
This is a huge lesson for all, leadership is senseless without vision, APC is full of blind visionless power hungry leaders.
God bless Nigeria God bless PMB
Politics › Re: Nigeria's Power Generation Hits 3,801.19MW by oloriooko(op): 5:10pm On Jul 04, 2015
oloriooko:
THE country has increased power generation from the 3,657.02MW it recorded two weeks ago to 3,801.19MW, while energy sent out has reached 3,708MW from the 3,584MW.
Nigeria has continued to enjoy significant increase in power generation and supply in the last few weeks achieved, during the review period.

For instance, the country’s power generation, which was below 2,000MW between January and May this year, is already recording peak generation of about 4,057.20MW, according to the latest power generation report by the Presidential Taskforce on Power.
This is still below the peak demand forecast of 12,800MW. The highest peak energy generated was 4,517.6MW recorded in 2012.

Chairman of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Dr. Sam Amadi said that power generation might peak above 5,500MW in July if on-going repairs on gas supply pipelines are completed.

He said the commission has received assurances from the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) that improvements on gas supply are coming up.

Amadi, said a lot work has been done to contain the frequent vandalism of gas pipelines.

He added: “much of the vandalisms are in the gas side. The gas problem is getting better. We had meeting with the Group Executive Director of gas at NNPC and he told us of improvements coming up. We hope that by the end of July, with the repair work going on, we might be able to do maybe above 5,500mw.

“The assurance we have is the East-West Gas Pipeline is projected for completion sometime towards the end of 2016. The idea is that we should be able to do slightly above 6000mw. The problem is that it depends also on increase in capacity. If we get the NIPP plants in, we are looking that 4,700mw. If we add this to the distribution companies, we can go above 9,000mw. Right now, we don’t have enough gas to do above that.

“They are looking at 2016-2017. With the gas that will come from the new and existing pipelines, the operators think that we can get enough to get us the available capacity that we have, and the recoverable capacity that the generators would have”.
He expressed the hope that the new government would do more to curb vandalism, adding that the “reports we have from them is that there is containment and vandalism has dropped as well”.

Meanwhile, the core investor of Ughelli Power Plc, Transcorp Ughelli Power Limited, has unfolded plans to ramp up the generation capacity of the plant from the current installed capacity of 972megawatt (mw) to 2200mw in the next three years.

Briefing the post privatisation monitoring team from the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), last week, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Transcorp Ughelli Power Limited, Adeoye Fadeyibi said that on takeover of the plant on November 1, 2013, the core investor inherited only four operational turbines generating only 160mw of power.

Fadeyibi, who was represented by the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), Olukunle Fagbayi, noted that by June 2015, the core investor had rehabilitated and made 13 out of the 18 units fully operational and generating about 635mw of available capacity.

He further pointed out that in the company’s generation forecast, by December 2015, the generation capacity would be raised to about 850mw and in December 2017 to about 1650mw and 2200mw in 2018.

He however lamented that due to the quality and quantity of gas available to the plant, only about 350mw could be made available to the grid.

He pointed out that another major challenge facing the company was the wheeling capacity of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) and tasked the Federal Government on investment in the transmission segment of the value chain of the power infrastructure to strengthen the wheeling capacity of TCN.

He revealed that since the takeover of the plant in November 2013, the company had engaged an additional 45 staff in its payroll, assuring that Transcorp was going to surpass all the key performance indicators (KPIs) covenanted in its Post Acquisition Plan (PAP).

The CEO also revealed that as part of its corporate social responsibility, the company runs a model school with about 1,000 student enrollment as well as skills acquisition schemes for the host communities.

The BPE Post Privatization Monitoring team to Ughelli Power Plc was led by the Director, Post Privatization Monitoring Department,

There is no party in APC but what we have is parties.
Our so called leaders failed to see this long before now and I dare say its almost too late to do anything about it.

Change is never easy cuz it will also affect the bearer, now our leaders are beginning to see that they were not prepared for the post of leadership they so much clamoured for.

APC party leaders should cover their heads in shame for constituting themselves as nuisance instead of taking the advisory role to the President on such sensitive issue as appointments of key posts in government.

The seemingly confusing statements are uncalled for and a clear indication that PMB is surrounded by morons who are more interested in selfish ambitions than collective progress.

May God continue to guide PMB in the midst of these vultures.

So who are the people eligible to attend such a crucial meeting to get APC back on track?
We must learn to jetisson sentiments and embrace reality, our party leaders are selfish and blind thereby causing chaos within the rank and file of the party.
If the meeting is so important, who do you think should attend?
Foreign Affairs › Chad Announces Arrests Of Foreigners Following Boko Haram Attacks by oloriooko(op): 9:04am On Jul 03, 2015
By NAN

Chadian Prime Minister, Kalzeube Deubet, on Friday, said that following the recent Boko Haram attack in two suicide blasts in the capital, N’Djamena, which killed 37 people, government would commence rounding up of foreigners in that country.

The premier did not give details on whom the raids would target and where.

He said those detained would be placed at centres in Baga Sola on the shores of Lake Chad.

Deubet said the North-Central African country wanted to get rid of terrorists “once and for all.’’

He said Chadian government had earlier announced other security measures, such as bans on the burqa, an article of clothing that covers the entire body, and on public gatherings.

Health › Comfort Obiegba Needs Help! by oloriooko(op): 5:35am On Jul 03, 2015
FOR Comfort Obiegba, a JSS III student of Crescent International School, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, all has not been well. Her Junior Secondary school certificate final examinations are around the corner and it is almost certain she would not be able take part.

Thirteen-year-old Comfort is afflicted with a head aliment for almost a year now, which manifestation has been a swelling of her parietal bone (on the head). The problem, according to her father, John Obiegba, started as headache, which later turned to severe eye pains, noise in her ears and weakness of the body.

Obiegba, her father, who has been out of work for long, explained that comfort has been going through a hell of pains, especially since the last four months. He said: “After a test at the General Hospital at Ile-Epo, Lagos, we were referred to the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

We did the first test at MeCure Health Care Limited, Oshodi, Lagos, for N71,200. She was asked to do an MRI test for N80,000.00 immediately, after which she is expected to get ready another N5million to do the head operation. “We do not have the money, not even the N80,000 that is needed immediately.

We are, therefore, compelled to earnestly appeal for urgent help from kind-hearted Nigerians, corporate bodies and governments to save my lovely Comfort from this dreadful debilitating brain problem that is threatening her life and education even the vital and decisive exams that she has to do soon in her school.”

Anyone who is filled with compassion for this poor and helpless Miss. Comfort and wants to extend help, no matter how little, can reach her father, John Obiegba through 08033897517, 09099371169 or remit urgent financial assistance through Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) Account Number 0019178308.
