BlueRayDick:No vex I got it wrong. |
BlueRayDick:Lets not major in minor, equitable is fixing the country, eradicating poverty in the land. If it would take heads of bodies being those that have directline to the president to effect the change needed; it doesnt matter where these people are from; if Tinubu chooses to spend his mandate and employ into very critical areas his trusted allies; Nigerians that voted for his should trust his judgement and then judge him on the outcome. |
larride:My bad - got it wrong. |
BlueRayDick:Check again, He is folashade Tinubu-Ojo husband. |
larride:Observed in ministerial appointments, always Implemented when it comes to stealing and sharing the loot. |
BlueRayDick:Chairman what do you people want sef? Buhari did his own - Let Tinubu do his own so far they perform should be the koko? Tunji Ojo is inexperienced as per Naija parlance to be Minister of Interior; his strongest CV is being Tinubu son inlaw, however in his less than 3months stint he has shown potential to out perform Aregbe who came to same position with 8yrs commisioner experience + 8 Governor experience... So let Tinubu appoint who ever he wants, if they mess up is on him, and I would blame him squarely unlike those who would rather excuse Buhari for the mess ups of his appointees. |
BlueRayDick:No different from what we have now within the states. Cross River & Akwa Ibom would be in the same south south region so the wealth is shared. |
BlueRayDick:Bro, dont fall for that scam - winner always takes it all. We already have proportional representation its is called the National Assembly; after OBJ bastardised the institutions to get his way during his 8year term na now him dey realise that our democracy isn't democracying? Abegiii. Let him go direct and just say we should return to regions, and parlimentary system no need for all these shalayes. |
GloriousGbola:Not when we are talking about $50billion, this is Madoff level fraud you think those orgs don't have ERP? Oyinbo to se pencil lo se eraser ![]() You think naija corruption is due to lack off audit trail or paper trail? Not when millions of dollars are involved. The problem I believe is the sheer number of gatekeepers that have been compromised, weak institutions.. whereby those with integrity are outliers an example is what happened in lagos where an exposed corrupt Obasa was refusing to confirm Dr. Abayomi, what does such actions say to those who take their work seriously? I shudder at the amount of data we collect in Naija and available to goverment to fight fraud, we just choose not to use it. |
Ibime:He initially stated $50billion, then revised further downwards, even you sef agree that the downward figure sef doesnt add up, so for a whole CBN governor that was reckless, hence I believe he shouldnt be the one giving us sermon without much as an apology, his credibility is tainted - no where in the world he keeps his job. If he had integrity - he would have apologised immediately and tendered his resignation; even in the streets such inaccuracies led to plenty dead bodies. And regarding NNPC stealing money- shey na today yansh dey for back? Wait make dem open saint Buhari NNPC book ![]() https://www.businessinsider.com/nigeria-is-missing-50-billion-in-oil-2013-12?amp https://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/21/world/africa/governor-of-nigerias-central-bank-is-fired-after-warning-of-missing-oil-revenue.html |
grandstar:Please kindly share such confirmation. That Jonathan was a weak president is not in doubt; if he wasn't he would have used his office to make life very difficult for SLS, El- Rufai & co for all the lies they all to feather their own nest. Change Wike, Ameachi or Fayose for Jonathan and see different outcomes for these guys. By the way how did we fare with strong president Buhari? |
Ibime:Chief leave that thing; you are a numbers person - no way a whole CBN gov would chat shit about figures, NOI challenged him, was waiting to see if 8years of Buhari would turn up the missing $50Billions God knows the country could do with such be found right now. Nobody is saying stealing wasn't or didn't happen, my gripe with SLS is at such level and in such a sensitive role you cannot get these wrong; worse still alaye is prancing about no questions asked, no apologies? SLS too is accursed of corrupt enrichment so make him no come dey preach or bobo us. |
Ibime:SLS was the first set of psycopants with his $50 billions missing BS; he was part of the gang that gave us Buhari; we don't need his preachment. |
BlueRayDick:My chairman wetin dey sup? your post lately has some taint of vexation ![]() My take on this matter is nobody can fix Africa or Nigeria but ourselves, before looking at the west - we should check ourself first; na we dey enable our greedy leaders. Change is happening, 2023 Obidients caused a change, but it seem they are so fixated on the final outcome of the election that they risk failing to capitalise on the huge change and awakening of consciousness achieved. Like I said during the election, any of the 3 candidates would be a major improvement over Buhari, I still hold that believe. Also this is going to be controversial - and apologies if I come across as being insensitive to the plight of the average Nigerian but I believe that Tinubu being the President taking decisive decision on both FX & Subsidy was received "better" than if same decision taken by Obi, could be due to better state capture, media capture, political or tribal sentiments, lack of better political opposition, political structure, deft political moves against the loudest political oppositions. I know it is still early days, lots of mistakes are still going to be made, but I think Nigerians have adjusted in a very shortwhile to very difficult changes, I do hope that these sacrifices are not taken for granted, hence my hope that the Obidient collective and Nigerians in general do not relent in holding government accountable. |
raumdeuter:Hahaha - Safari tours is lovely, done 2 safari tours already with my peeps, south africa and tanzania wanted them to see different africa and not just seeing family in Naija, so going safari alone, hmmm the shalaye go plenty gaan ni o. |
larride:Oga sir don't know what you are talking about... mesef I know nothing about nothing ema ko igbo simi lapo ![]() |
nihilistjnr:Chief, eniyan ma sey opolopo shalaye lati lo Naija. Then you add the cost, flight cost alone to Naija is more than cost of flights + hotel to DR, even for peeps in europe going to DR is cheaper than going to Naija. Aint nothing cheap about Naija, have you checked the cost of known brand hotels in Naija? |
raumdeuter:Egbon ejo ema loud update yi oo; won ti cast naija, ema je ki DR cast. |
Melvyn11:I know its Apples & Oranges; but no be person wife & girlfriend dem dey kiss for movie roles ni? Am happy the guy decided not to resign, Yes he messed up, apologised make dem move on. |
larride: Thousands are being killed in your country annually between ISWAP, Boko Haram, Herdsmen, UGM we are not able to intervene successfully, but people want to send military to intervene in Niger where no one was killed? Did Niger intervene in the Abacha years? The military option is not an option. Oga military intervention is expensive, we are constantly being told the country is broke; we need to kill fuel subsidy, education subsidy ati bebelo. So how would we fund this military intervension? If na concern; we are very concerned, Akpabio can even send them prayers as well - but not concerned enough to kickstart what we don't know how it will end; cos defo it will not be bloodless. |
OasisX:Oga - this is not about Tinubu or APC, Dubai that you reside is not a democracy, but you won't swap it currently for Naija, so military intervension in Niger does not guarantee any stability; na so dem take destroy Libya in the name of democracy. The junta has offered Tinubu an out; they would probably settle 2yrs transition after all we did 8yrs transition with IBB. |
Shaytun:Who be non state actors? Bloodless coup happened next door, you guys want us to go do what exactly in Niger? Preserve and Restore democracy right - like we are practising democracy. Niger has always had its issue - Nigeria has too many problems right now, you think war is cheap? PS: We already have ISWAP and Boko Haram so whats new? Herdmen UGM nko? Their closest kin are all saying no to any intervention, only people in the south dey shout for intervention. |
seankafor:Should we still go to war/intervene in Niger? I think with this now - Wagner group would now be answerable to Lord Putin. Tinubu better behave - leave Niger to sort themselves out... Make dem no use our head break coconut. |
raumdeuter:Chief - In the Abroad you still have to do all these + have Money; hence with the ongoing Japa wave; alot of couples are facing issues - adjusting to the new realities is causing big problems in the home front which most especially the Men never factored. |

Chief would you know which side of Ikate is prefferred? Left or Right side if you are coming from Lekki Phase 1? Most especially for shortlet business purposes, Thanks. |
GloriousGbola:You mean just like Tinubu is using this as a handy diversion on the issues on ground in Naija; nobody dey hala about subsidy, FX or student loan. Or better still after supporting an Ex- coupist to become the worst president and set Nigeria many many years back he is afraid of military boys getting ideas whilst he is president; so just like the west and others it is all about self interest first; na the ordinary joe go suffer am. Abi wagner group go come invade Nigeria ni? we have had ISIS et al in our backyard and lived with boko haram so all this talk of wagner group next door na wash, the real fear is our military boys getting ideas; we no too send Niger. |
OasisX:To the younger men here - There is no harm in marrying up ![]() |
Itsrm:SMH, how? No be everything be Lamba. Chief If not for anonymity sake I for post details and receipt of the coy that provide this service for me. There are a few coys doing this and people who need there services will pay... Call this company ask them how much they will charge you to provide executive assistant/carer per month for your 85yrs parent; this is not the one I am using, and I will delete their details after few minutes to protect their business since its seems we are okk that the richest of us brag about paying 60k to their domestic staff as wages. We need to demand better, I remember ages ago when Bob Diamond was at Barclays and they had to increase wages for cleaners as the papers where ridiculing his pay packets in comparison to the cleaners, there is something called libing wages bro... and that 30k minimum wage is a joke.. Abi you think Oga Dayo/Ibime or Nihilist will come out and brag if they have domestic staff in Nigeria that they are being paid N60k? Let those working for average Joe's collect average wages, whilst our big men pay premium. |
larride:Atleast between N150k - N200k for Osho, considering that myself a nobody and a number of people I know are paying N150k per month to coys that provide carer/cleaner in Naija to look after our Aged granny/parents - note that my granny is still active and hardly allows anybody do anything for her apart from go market, cook and clean house. So Osho gets no applause for paying his cleaner 60k abeg... If Osho can be governor for 8yrs and collect all the mad pensions wey career Judge of 20yrs no go collect quarter, abeg him cleaner too deserve abnormal wages. |
Segedinho:Bro - no need, na we the citizens dey give these guys liver to do what they are doing. How can people say Osho paying his staff N60k is more than Ok? whilst it might be Okk for regular joe like me to pay N60k; anyone working for someone of Osho's caliber deserves to earn waay more... Abi shey na same wage cleaner for Whitehouse or Buckingham palace dey earn when compared to regular cleaner? Apart from the temptations of being around some much affluence whilst having so little, by working for Osho the cleaner or his family are at risk from those (Kidnappers, Thieves) looking to get to Osho, or those who believe he has access to wealth. Anyway sha - I would seriously doubt this is actually what Osho pays or that this is how our socalled billionaires pay their domestic staffs. |
nihilistjnr:WHY bro; shey this guy offend you before ni? Kilagbe Kileju? ![]() |
