RomanceRe: Baby Mama And The Shameless Talk About It!!! by olumbest(m): 5:58pm On Apr 23, 2017
Pesin enta market to buy ideas and now over sabi don dey worry am.
If i knew this is what civilization will cause i would have advised dad not to buy it.
Funny enough, most guys think this is the best way out of a committed life (husband and wife) and ladies will say, "Europeans are proud single mothers for crying out loud".

The question now is "What is right? What is wrong? When do we say this is right? When do we say it is wrong?
The moment we fell flat for entertainment (music/videos especially) to rule our judgement was the time everything fell off. Boys think that what Wizkid wore for a show is the best of outfit and when he throws images of a lady [with a kid] terming her 'baby mama' that he made a ground-breaking achievement. Even without a history of been married, we applauded him.
It's not mine to fix. Only that many more morals have gone wrong. We only pray for better days.

I am demanding, let me expantiate;
I want a guy that will call me first thing in the morning and last thing at night (fairy tale, not everyone has that time. So I have come to realise)
Some guys do. Maybe not the first caller of the day nor the last, but they do call in early and lately. My friend's boo do that.
Only that, you'll get tired of it. the disturbance is usually much.
Oh! I forgot. It also depends on his type of job.

When all the young ones know is to shout afonja and ipob up and down.forget it.majority of the youths are already gone.
More youths voted for bbn than in the general election.just forget it.

But hold up here.
If you had watched the British parliamentary session last week when they voted concerning the General elections, you'll agree that the older house of commons' members had better ideas, asked smarter questions and were more detailed in analysis.
That's aged experience. Our youths would do better if and only if, those aspiring for political positions are not going there for the money.
You keep hearing: Group chairman, business don, and the likes. They're just money focused that's all.

Wait ooh!
Where is Prof. Soludo? Is he coming again ??

dearpreye:
We've been repeatedly told that readers are leaders. Also, that he who doesn't read has a very little advantage over the one that cannot read. To read is to learn and grow. We won't stay long enough to experience all life has to offer. We need to read to learn from the lessons and experiences of others.

It's very saddening that in this age, despite the overwhelming abundance of information, a lot of us don't really study.

All the information we need to succeed in life has been written. Be it on money, marriage, health, business, family, success itself, religion. Name it. It's been written.

I'm currently reading THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED, By Scott Peck. It's being an awesome read. The author talked on pleasure, suffering, discipline, delayed gratification, child training and religion.

I'll talk briefly on self gratification. It's the ability to forego today's even legitimate pleasure for tomorrow's gain. Without it, wealth, health and joy will elude the individual. No one can truly succeed without this vital ingredient of life. To delay gratification is to prioritise. To delay gratification is to always look at the bigger picture.

The future is hardly far away. It comes pretty quiver than we can imagine. Time hasn't waited for anyone. If we must live a happier tomorrow, we must be mature and brave enough to delay gratification. I'll encourage as many as possible to get a copy of this great book and travel in the mind of the author.

So, let's see which book you're currently reading. Any book. And don't forget to drop a line or two from it. Thanks.

Lalasticlala and Ishilove, please let's do justice to this thread. Readers are leaders.

MizMyColi:
There are people's mention you see and you feel compelled to reply.
Honestly, for me, there's a thin line between selectively/obligated to, as it pertains the mentions I attended to today.
Most, I would have ignored, but then I felt like,
"What if another person sees this post and subconsciously acts on it"
Then the need to counter such arises, for me.
That's Obligation.
I always reply selectively cool
Hmmph.....Music
Because of my very religious upbringing, I find it really hard to flow with a song that I do not deem spiritual.
Funny though, but I've observed that I really don't have that zeal to listen to Gospel music as such anymore. Not that I now hate it, but I just don't feel like it anymore.
Before now, if I ever needed to play a secular song, I'd first subconsciously sanctify and purify my phone. With my fav gospel song at the time, but I knew things were getting worse better when I search out my phone from my bag and the next song I play is:
Ada-Ada by flavor
For the win
Kayswitch Obimo
Yanni
Then Dansaki by Lara George and Ebezina cheesy
I used to feel guilty for listening to any song that God wasn't mentioned in, but it's a lot different now.
It's almost like I can hear someone saying:
"I've lost my salvation"
cheesy
Naaahhh, what I think I'm loosing is this great ability that I have, of being self righteous........
#NoMoreRants
Listening to music is more philosophical.............
I still prefer gospel songs though, they make me feel spirtual and more intune with the unseen
It's just that the ones I have are obsolete, to me.
I haven't seen any that really cuts it for me.
I just don't listen to any with the tag "gospel"
Infact! I enjoy the ones that have this secular feel to it. grin

So, Let's from you Phil.....
I'd also like to know what your interests are. cool

jethro2: You are right. But one has to keep searching and looking for information until you get the right source. Most of the Ebooks and internet information are quite misleading. They are extremely different from the practical aspect. Seek for real farmers that are in the field. the internet information could serve as a guide though
u guyz r not using d right source (i'm n agric eng'g) n av been workin on food farming.
some agric sites r:
