Update

I am now using bulksmsnigeria

So far so good. They met all my needs

I use them too but right now they temporarily don't deliver to DND (it's been close to 2 weeks now).

Any other alternative that I can use at a time like this?

Jackofall:
I know a very solid site you can get almost any ebooks for free online, even books that came out recently.

But some times I don't find some recent books on the site attimes. So if someone can help me get a book that is not on the site (I dont want to mention the name, to avoid getting banned).

I will pay you handsomely. Or exchange something valuable in return.

Comment here if you can.

If you are a scammer, don't waste your time. I will know, because you have to proof to me that you can download any ebook that just came out even yesterday... cheesy

What is the book you want let me get it. It should be foreign though.

Webmasters / Transfer Expired Domain From Garanntor by olumbest(m): 6:15pm On Jul 02, 2022
Good day to you reading this.

Please I need help transferring my domain out from Garanntor. It has expired. I also made payment for renewal, but after payment, no one has either activated the domain or respond to the ticket I created. The phone numbers listed on the website are not even going through.

Because the website has expired, I can't generate EPP code for transfer.

Kindly help me if you know a way.

Thanks Papi. These books are mostly historical. I was referring to fictions and the likes of them not history books.

I thought of creating a website to collate Nigerian novels but don't have book sources.

Thanks for the reference

* Collect some from my brother
* Help few colleagues perform little tasks
* Trek some, transport some

The transportation (abt 1200) and feeding in this regime is not easy at all.
Las las we go dey ok.

The request is honorable. There's no hate in that but love.
They love their own hero and want to bestow what they think he deserves on him.

Don't you think that giving it to Soyinka is like 'the rich getting richer'?
Ejigbo people have spoken well abeg!

Career / Re: 15k Salary As A Graduate: How Are You Coping? by olumbest(m): 7:55am On Mar 05, 2021
It's really frustrating. Yet it's difficult leaving because you won't be able to save.
Solicit for help so you can learn a skill. Seek connections if you can.

I was in same shoes, though 30k. Was always annoyed with myself so I left. Learnt data science and machine learning.

Job hunting right now. It's also challenging at the moment because I'm broke. That's something most of us see. But the skill and the mindset of the present gives me courage and opened me up to so many opportunities.

I would say to you: be ready to be uncomfortable, skill up, and very likely, relocate.

In the end, you'll be fine.

Which of the heavens?
What if the teacher doesn't make heaven?

Let's simply admit that teaches are highly underpaid in Nigeria.

I used to teach but majority of Nigerians don't believe in investing in knowledge. Not that they can't afford it, they believe it should be dirt cheap.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi: It Is Wrong To Relax Lockdown For Religious Reasons by olumbest(m): 3:15pm On Apr 11, 2020
IkeOnyia:
Peter Obi is really a demented imbeciile. He is always speaking from both side of his mouth due to mental depravity.

This is an interview he granted The Punch late last month condemning the lockdown.

Anthony Okafor
A former Governor of Anambra State , Mr Peter Obi , has warned against locking down the country over coronavirus scare, without alternative arrangements to cushion the effects of such action on the masses .
He said whilst all possible measures should be deployed to stop the spread of COVID- 19 , appropriate measures should be put in place to mitigate the suffering of the vulnerable in society .
In a statement by his Media Adviser, Valentine Obienyem, Obi , who was the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, said markets and other business ventures should not be closed to further impoverish the poor.
He said , ” There are several millions of our populace who are unemployed . Their means of livelihood depends on daily income which the present situation will definitely worsen . ”
He noted that in locking down the country, such vulnerable people should be factored into government plans , as was the case in other countries , by putting measures in place to cushion the effects of the lockdown on them.
Obi , who expressed gratitude for the efforts of some political leaders , captains of industry and corporate bodies , urged the Federal Government to do more to mitigate the situation, especially for poor Nigerians , as being witnessed in other climes.
He added , “ It would be counter -productive to keep only the elite in mind when taking such far - reaching decisions as closing down markets without having some cushioning measures for the traders . ”
He enjoined politicians , especially legislators , to go back to their constituencies to be with their people at a time like this .
“This is the time to be with your people in your various constituencies , ” Obi said .
He said it did not make any sense for politicians to be observing the stay - at -home in various places outside their constituencies at this trying time , instead of being with their constituents to help their people to find solutions to their problems and challenges .
Obi said that by being in their constituencies to monitor the situation, the elected leaders will be in a position not only to support their people in time of need , but to also properly advise government on how to address the fallouts of government policies.
He called on leaders of all segments of society to make sacrifices and show commitment at this critical period in the country’ s history .

This is the unstable idiot who wanted to become our vice president.

Dear fellar,

I guess your problem is an inability to sieve statements. Punch News threw a misleading click-baity title and you followed it like an slowpoke.
The opening of the statement said to not lock down the country without measures to cater for the poor who depend on daily struggle for their survival. He is speaking for people like you if you were not privileged to have saved a little pocket money.

Loladearewa01:

As in I wonder what they keep saying Everytime

I'm like you. Well, let's say, was like you. I asked same question 'What do they talk about?'

Come closer.

1. This is not an advise. I'm only sharing some part of my stupidity and how I was able to help myself.

2. Girls don't need you to speak. They're not that patient, just listen.

3. Before they can speak for you to listen, you need to initiate the talk. Simple thing,be interested in her. Get comfortable with telling her stupid things -- small talks for ladies.

4. Read a book on small talks, Leil Lowandes wrote about ninety something tricks on how to start one. Just don't be lazy about trying them out.

5. I still haven't told you what you speak of for 2-hours. Listen to this:

Me: Hi Hun, how d'u do?
Bae: I'm good, you?
Me: Fine.
After pleasantries.
Me: How did your day go?
Bae: It was fine.

A normal convo with a girl stops there. If you want to continue, this is the moment.
I personally will ask "Anything new?" that's if she didn't start it by herself. You can even ask How is life treating you?
The whole point is to make her lead the discussion.

Simplest trick, stop being lazy about coming out of your shell. Make extroverted friends especially the Warri type. Listen to comedy shows (you need to prep your sense of humour).
And then try my master recipe: Make two new female friend every week.

Hope that helps?? undecided

I feel you.

I was 7 when I lost my mother. The following year my big brother was brutally taken too. (He used to tell us to round our house until we hear "a voice from above" calling us, then we would go inside. Mind you, this was everytime the neighbours daughter was with him in the house and the voice supposedly belonged to the Almighty grin. Loudspeaker and his ultered voice).

4years later, my twin sister drowned whislt we where fishing, never found till date and that makes me understand your pain. My dad says one must learn to leave with the pain. It never goes but, learn to be happy you even had the person in your life. You wont believe it if I tell you it took us years to be able to even speak about that day.

Let me also mention that he (my dad) has done an applaudable job raising me, even if I say so myself. Now I am trying to get him married, he says he is waiting for me first...... .everyday argument.

Be well

You must have pondered alot on the question "Why me?"

I'm glad you've got one of the best dads ever. He's a model.
.
Sorry about the series of loss.
It's quute painful.

Cabs aren't popular in Osun state as a major means of transportation. Instead, mini buses are used and they have no uniform colour.

I give it to Kwara state... The life in Ilorin is so cool and cheap... Transportation is as cheap as #50 and a very friendly environment too... The girls in Tanke Road are very good too (don't ask how I got to know)... I didn't regret staying there.!

Osun state is also cool and cheap. #50 bike.
Only issue is that Yoruba speaking is necessary else, they'll hike the price of everything.
