MTN Frauds

This is illegal and need to be addressed. Early this morning, I recharged my line with N3,400 with a previous balance of N61 totalled N3,461, the line was on BetaTalk. Immediately after the recharge, I tried to use their Share and Sell to transfer airtime to my other line but got the popup that "Betatalk and Trutalk are not allowed to use the services", so I had to migrate to Pulse which charged me more than N100.

The migration was successful, I clicked on the share airtime and keyed in the amount, but it popup again with low balance and got scared what might be going on. I called their customer care to finetune what was going on. The lady said it was because I recharged the money while I was on Betatalk plan. I got angry because, even recharging while betal talk plan does not served any benefits to me because I have not used the bonus neither do I even plan to do that, also, when I migrated to pulse, they charged me for the migration.

She said, I would need to migrate back to BETA TALK Plan for me to be able to use my money, that your main balance in Beta talk won't be migrated to any other plans and migrating back to that betatalk again will still cost another charges.
NCC should look at this frauds going on right now in MTN. This wasn't their terms and condition and before, if you migrate to any plan, all your main balance will be migrated but only the bonus will be gone. Now, they held my N3,351 because they have charged me over N100 for migration and still not allowing me to use my money until I load another money again to migrate. MTN must go.

Please share this and move to front page for maximum consideration.

The truth is, if you are in a clean sources of income, there is no big deal visiting their office and why did you involve lawyer when you know are legit?

If your source of income is real, there is nothing someone or government can do to jeopardize you.

Since you have the slip and you know much details about yourself, find someone or go to any computer centre where you have a guru that can manipulate Corel draw well, let them design the plastic for you.

BUT, when he arrives, so he won't be a financial burden to his friend, he will need to first grab any reasonable employment that can help him keep body and soul together (most likely Customer Service jobs contract or not) while he search for a better job opportunities. He should aim at jobs within Surulere, Yaba, Ikeja, Maryland, etc but no where beyond Ikoyi and Obalende on the Island. He will quickly get stressed out if he accepts jobs in V.I, Lekki and Ajah, but if the pay is worth it, he shouldn't go beyond V.I.

He should understand that Lagos doesn't sleep, so he might have to leave home 5:30am if his job location is far.

While staying with his friend, he should learn budgeting and stick to it.
Let's say he's working at Yaba and living in Surulere, his transportation expense is 800naira, and he buys food of 600, that's 1,500 daily, so he can budget 2k as his daily expense. Alternatively, if he and the friend can corporate, they can be contributing money to cook and take food to work, so he won't spend as much as 600naira to buy food outside.

In his budget, he should try to save let's say about 17k - 20k monthly so he can rent his own apartment. I mean a room in a face me I face you, for about 6k - 8k monthly, with total package of 184 - 220k (with agreement and commission). If he's seeking comfort, he will need to have at least 500k for total package of a room self contained (250k rent per annum

BSc Hons means you graduated within the university range of year. Note, you may have extra year, it doesn't count as far as if your course is 4years and you don't exceed the maximum 6years.

This is not my first time attending the church here in Yakutsk, Russia (world's coldest city where I study) but I have decided to share my experience about church service in Russia (Yakutsk) with you guys today.

This city is 8 hours ahead of Nigeria which means we had concluded the service long before you guys woke up. But my university invited international students to a special program today so I couldn't post this until now.

The service begins with songs.
Yakutians and Russians dance and wave flags.
For instance they wave the red flag to symbolize salvation, white to symbolize peace and the flag of Israel to show love for the birth place of Christ.

After series of songs the bible is read and the junior pastor say a few things about the verse that is read.

Then the senior pastor would preach the sermon.

After which we hug each other now I love this part😘😘😘 and I try to avoid the men and hug the ladies...😍

After this we go to the dinning room and eat.

This is what I love most about the church here. There is nothing like offering and tithe. But we eat heavily every Sunday!

The first time I arrived here in Yakutsk and went to church, there was this lady that came to me after service and asked me if I am not cold (I didn't have winter clothes yet) she told me even if I were not cold then, I would feel terribly cold when the winter gets tough. She took me to the stores in her car and bought me winter clothes, winter boots, mufflers, winter gloves, etc.

This is the coldest city in the world and those clothes are needed for survival. Infact even with those clothes, at minus 63 degrees you must not stay outside for more than 30mins to an hour. You would be finished!! (So imagine not having those clothes)

Her name is sister Natalia and she is so nice (and other people from church too) to the point that I was beginning to wonder if something else was not involved.

One day I asked her why she does those things and how the church is able to finance feeding everyone every Sunday without taking offerings.

She said some people in the church makes secret donations...to do those things. She said they are not rich, they are just reciprocation the love of Christ. She said a brother from church also give enough money to buy winter clothes for every new African student in the city! Those clothes cost about 250k in Nigerian money.

I can say that 30% of our feeding here is financed by the church. They send us chickens and meat from time to time. Lots of cucumbers, vegetables, rice and potatoes...

The church believes when people come to the presence of Christ, they should be physically blessed just like Christ fed his multitudes. They have up to 20 varieties of food and they often force us to pack food home. They say if we do not go with the food, they would get spoilt anyway. They make them in excess every Sunday so that no one would go without being filled.

Sisters in church are very free with boys (including internationals like us) they hug us like we are truly brothers and the women often hug and give us kisses on the cheek (reciprocating the love of Christ)

The preacher is a woman. She is Ukrainian. The church here does not preach hell at all. Quiet weird. They only talk about the love of Christ. Little wonder it really shows in everyone of them.
You could easily mistake the friendliness of everyone in church for 'love interests' they show that love tooooooo much.

Women and men should leave their head uncovered in church. No one would send you out if you do otherwise. But that is the norm here.

Korean girls in church wear very skimpy dresses. No one seems bothered about it.

I read your story and you made me laugh. You are still active in your work and earn 55K monthly which is also my monthly salary.

See, I am into your shoe, gambling addiction ruined me till now and not yet recovered. My take home salary is usually 49K after all deduction. I lost all my earnings and even lost the money I collected from contribution and my company money all totalled 767K, currently, I sold my apple laptop at 150k and they are deducting my salary to service this loan.

Though, I thought of suicide as well but that is a great loss, if you fall today, you shall rise tomorrow but you just need to watch your steps and never go back to your egypt. With my little income, I have three dependents that rely on me for feeding and still God is helping us.

Just put on the whole armour of God and in your next salary, try to be saving little. Since, God has delivered me from gambling, I have peace of mind, though ai don't have money yet and still can't eat what I want but to destroy is easy, to build will take time. It is such a horrible thing for one to be depressed as such could lead to one thinking about lots of things including suicide, that's exactly what I'm passing through now.

I am currently working in an organization where I am been paid 55,000 monthly which I'm managing as it could barely sustain me in this economy but I have searched, asked online on any online side hustle I could do to boost my income but all efforts seems futile.

I received my salary around 51,000 after all deductions including tax on the 30th of this month but as I speak to you right now, I'm penniless. I am the type of person who strive to make more income with the little I have. I have tried sport betting in the past but it wasn't fruitful. I tried forex and online stock trading of a thing and that's what ruined me presently.

When my salary entered my account, I already listed all I would need but the money couldn't reach anywhere, so I thought of looking for. a means of increasing it but all went down the drain. Now I'm back at square zero.

The month is still new, I just don't know how I will cope, no foodstuff at home, no money for transport, my transport used to be 300 a day but now it 400. I just don't know how I am going to cope. I'm just tired if everything.

Sincerely, I already contemplated on suicide but I was just scared of:

I met this woman around 2020 and was interested in her, she is a single mother (a girl around 5yrs old). I approached her and she agreed even her mum rejected the proposal but later they agreed. I went to their house to tell her parent my plan to marry their daughter.

Around, April 2021, she moved in with me and we are still living together with her baby girl. But in December 2021, we had misunderstanding, she is very quiet and calm, though I am older than her with 8yrs gap. She seems not to be taking to correction especially if she is angry and she is not easily provoked, there was a time, her ex called her, the father of that kid and I told her not to call him again and she should limit her conversation with him except if she is willing to go back to him.

Before we even started living together, she told me then that she want the type of husband that she can change her daughter name to his own but I said, it is not a big deal but I can't tolerate that because of the father surfaced later in future, he can sue me and also, she herself can also deny me later in future or even tell the kid that I am not her biological father. Though, she said the father doesn't even know the baby which is a complete lie.

So, December 2021, we had misunderstanding and I told her we can't continue in that journey again, though she apologized but within one week of that misunderstanding she had a thorough conversation with her ex, which I deduced from the talk that she was willing to go back to him because I recorded everything but she was not aware her phone was in recording mode. I told her, within weeks of misunderstanding, she still have the audacity to be negotiating with her ex and she said someone told her to be answering his call so that he can be sending his daughter school fee, I told her so since all this while, he has been the one footing the girl school fee and food right? She apologized later and we moved on. Last week, I told her to unlock her phone that I need to check something because she password her phone and WhatsApp and she refused, she said what is it that I want to check? I told if she fail to unlock that phone that it will be the end of our relationship and it means she end it herself and she is free to do anything she want and I won't send her away but I will move away from her. After some minutes, she now unlocked the phone which I believed she must have deleted some messages and she now said I should collect the phone but I dejected and told her that was gone, that I have made up my choice.

Ever since then, she didn't apologize and she said she will be fine. Though, I trust her that she is not promiscuous but she might want to try it and I only come home once in a while due to the distance of my job. Now, I have planned to send her money for food for next month and after this, I will stop giving her anything again. And nothing join us together yet because she is yet to conceived.
