My car does not smoke before and even after it had overheating but my mechanic returned it to me after fixing the gasket with smoke coming from the exhaust. I told him to return the car to his garage immediately and find solutions to that smoke before I get him arrested. My OGAz, what cud be the cause of the smoke after fixing the gasket... Note, I also noticed a strange sound around the exhaust

Hello, my Lexus rx350 side mirrors have been stolen twice . After the first time it was stolen, I put my plate number on it, and now it has been stolen again. I can’t keep changing side mirrors everytime with almost 100k.
What can I do to prevent this from happening again ? Or even catching the culprit?
This happened in the same place where I do park my car.

Since you don't know much about cars, I think you should go for the 05-07 corolla but make sure you comprehensively insure it for rest of mind.
The 09-10 corolla is also a very good choice but I think the body doesn't hold up compared to the previous generation.

That elantra generation has 2 engine variants.
The 1.8L and 2.0L engine.
The 1.8L engine variant were those sold brand new by dana motors and the tokunbo engines are very expensive like you said.
The 2.0L engine variant were those imported from USA/Canada as tokunbo cars and the tokunbo engines and gear are very cheap. The engine was 150k before but maybe it will be more now.

It's a necessity.
Whether you dump this car or not. You should do it for any car.
It protects you against theft, accidents, vandalism, flood, fire, etc.

The rain yesterday and of course human factors caused heavy traffick on the road. I used to park my car in one of my friends compound after it was vandalized three months ago. However, I couldn't park there yesterday, because it was too late. Therefore, I then decided to drive it home, and parked it on the street where I use to park it. I mean the location where it was vandalized.
I got home 12:38am, because of fear of vandalism, I guard my car from 12:38am to 6am, before going to bed by 6:30am.

It wasn't easy for me going out today, because I didn't have enough rest.

My advice: Before you buy Corolla (Uber standard) you must have a safe place to park it.

No drivability issues. I drive 10km to work and another 10km back. Traffic conditions are not too heavy, it's stop and go then few spots where there is traffic light and u stop for a minute or 2. Car is steady, no jerk, no rough idle. I need someone in owerri that can study the fuel trim and understand if it is running rich or lean.
