as long as the marriage is genuine and you can provide proofs(pics, chats, calls, etc). They would grant the spousal visa. Takes 12 months on the average

Yea its genuine...
12 months?
Thats quite a long time...
Proofs are 100% accurate & available...

They have family reunification program to unite immigrants with their families. The condition is that immigrants can bring only their parents and the children below 18 years that still live with them get the permanent residency.

That is how my youngest sister who is below 18 years old got her permanent residence papers to Canada through my parents when we filed for the family reunification landed immigrant visa.

Well done bro
You doing a great job

Please what advise can you give lovers that intends to marry? What is the best route for the one in Nigeria to migrate to canada?

The guy has PR in Toronto and the lady works with a multinational company in portharcourt as a contract staff...

Should the guy first visit home for the marriage rite including court marriage and travel afterwards to file for his spouse visa? if this is preferable then for how long would it take the Canadian authorities to grant it? Months or years besides what are the chances? She feel skeptic about the denial stuff hence causing the newly married to be apart for however long... not Healthy at all

Alternatively, do you consider a student visa route for her perhaps a diploma certificate in a good uni, just to cross over and then do the needful (marriages plus filing)...

Of course, i know the visit or tourist visa can not be easily obtained or what to do you think?
The sole aim is for them to unite after marriage...

Guys Your suggestions and advise will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Firstly, do not compare 2014 exercise with this one at all. There is no correlation. 2014 exercise did not reach this stage before the changed of government.
Secondly, the issue of internal recruitment you are shouting, if they do that, who will replace the vaccum. In my office for instance, if they want to fix any vacancy, they will advert it internally because of those who want to change department or position. Immediately they saw any one filling the position internally, then, they advertised the guy that change department or position vacant externally .
In closing, I am very confidence that they will surely close out EH component of the exercise excerpt NNPC is direction less organization with unprofessional Hr and management. May God count us among the chosen ones when it is released.

You are just being sentimental
What different does the 2014 have with this particulat recruitment? Do you know how much nnpc budgets for its recruitment?

What stage are you talking about? That people flew in from different countries just to write the exams not to talk of those within that travelled far and wide, lodged in hotels just to write the exam afterwards the successful ones got messages for the interview stage...which never held.
This meant nothing to you baa?
Bro you no try

For the internal recruitment, who would replace the vacuum you ask?
You don't know there are qualified causal & contract staffs already in the system?
GTs are to be trained for positions too...

In all, externally EH will definetely be taken especially those sensitive positions that are rare.

Please note this is not from any reliable source o, just a deduction from the happenings in the sector.
No body can accurately predict what will happen except Baba God...

I repeat, don't loose focus on what you already doing...
Pray too and you will be fine

Congrats to the GTs
NNPC is one of the best coy to work with...
Congrats guys..

I was among the successful candidates in the last pending/cancelled NNPC GT recruitment. It was a painful experience waiting endlessly moreover some of us, age was no longer on our side to apply for this recruitment neither did they shortlist us for the EH.

For EH guys
Don't kill your self over the recruitment, still be focused on what you are already doing... no amount of your wailing, protest or threats via mail, instagram etc would alter their decision, you can ask our set (pending recruitment) how far?
Please note that i am Not in anyway trying to discourage you guys...all i am saying is be focused and pray...

EHs are assumed to be all working already unlike the GTs..
The positions might be recruited internally... so many agitation on going in every of their subsidiary perhaps the reason behind the delay but that doesn't mean there won't be external recruitment...

Be hopeful
Be focused
Be prayerful

Cheers

Can you please help me understand how you are able to keep them from absconding with your keke?

There are many ways even though you can't be 100% accurate but it worth it.

You will have all the original receipts n particulars
Have one of the keke keys
Ensure you visit the guarantors home address n office
You must know the hirers home address, meet his neighbours, if possible visit his previous place of work, meet his wife if married or a close relation.

When they see you are ever ready to investigate every single word they mentioned then those with alterior motives will most likely give up...and move ahead to get the busy bees that hardly investigate.

Lastly, this sounds funny but it works... i am not impersonating o... i tell them i have a close working relationship with the dss and Army due to the nature of our job... tell them i equally know the area Commander infact that the current AIG is completely humble than the previous hausa man... if any police disturbs them on the road, just put a call across but make sure you are not at fault... make sure you have your licenses etc
All na audio biko

Some go carry matter dey brag ooo
There was an occasion, i came to the scene corner the officer, spoke maturely to the officer in charge, tip him a token...

The news went round that immediately oga came, i know no wetin him tell am, they released me sharp sharp... (u know most of them no sabi talk abi negotiate)

Biko i hope my riders n future ones no dey nairaland ni

Neccesity brought about Ekene Dili Chukwu using big buses, neccesity brought about Peace Mass Transit using small buses.

Thanks bro
Will consider this...

Here, the parts are not readily available as well its mechanics are scares

What's doing you is FOMO. fear of missing out

As it stands, cryptocurrency trading is purely speculation. No underlying assets, no underlying cashflow, nothing. Nothing but the belief and sentiments of a tiny proportion of humanity. As a store of value, it is volatile and thus unreliable. This is what makes it trade-able. As legal tender, acceptance is limited but with potential for growth if supported by the major central banks. Such support isn't really there currently. Even Facebook's Libra currency project isn't going so well for now.

That said, it is arguably the new frontier of financial innovation. Sooner or later, the kinks will be worked out. Efforts are on, globally, to regulate cryptocurrency and leverage on the underlying Blockchain and distributed ledger technology to improve payment systems and record keeping. Countries are looking at creating fiat cryptocurrency or state backed cryptos

Anyway, some people seem to have mastered the art of speculation (Jump in Jump Out). Perhaps you can, albeit with potentially heavy losses (school fees). If your risk appetite is high, you have loose money and will continue to have money to spare plus you're willing to take heavy losses for the possibility of heavy gains, learning the ropes may be worth it. Maybe you can act as a broker. Buy from people who have to sell and sell to those looking to buy. Kinda like what a BDC does for FX.

Hi guys
While brainstorming with a colleague at the office, on the way forward, i mean side hustles to compliment salary... i mentioned to him about Tbills and other mmf info i have learnt here (my guy was looking at me like, see this guy o, which day u turn to financial analyst expert)

Surpringsly, in order to measure up with my knowledge...he said he wants to start trading Bitcoin, infact that he has arranged for an iphone for this very purpose...he shared plenty testimonies of some guys he met, how successful they have all become blah blah... that it is more lucrative than all the tbills, mmf etc put together...

I felt rubbished but honestly asked him... are you sure the bitcoin whatever is not yahooing in disguise.
He said information is power...

Sorry for digressing guys
Can someone in a nutshell explain the bitcoin stuff for me.
Is it truly lucrative?
What of risks attached?

Have been thinking... since he said information is power.
If its worth it then i don't mind to venture into the bitcoin biz.

My 04 toyota camry vibrates when a/c kicks start
I realised the rpm pin is almost at zero when car a starts and a/c is turned on.
A mech the other day help raised the rpm pin to 1 but after few drive around, it dropped back again... is that there is some sort of device that regulates the pin that needs to be changed?
How do i fix this?
Its annoying when the vibrations sets in except you tap the gas pedal a lil or to 1 rpm before it normalises

Hi Doc
Great thread
God bless you for your selfless service

Its been very long i did press-up/push ups.
After a couple of it, i realized that i feel pain around my heart region 2 days later.
I thought it was nothing serious, i also discovered that this pain comes at night when i lie down or whenever i wake up mid night. I suspected it to be lumonia but then during the day i feel so much relieved that i will not feel anything until i go to sleep & wake up late at night. These have been the routine for like three days but on the fourth day, i discovered the pain has moved from the heart region to the opp. Direction, i mean, my back bone-spinal cord, just exactly the opposite of the heart. I became worried and the next day it moved from there to my left lungs, like left lower lungs while i simultenously feel minor pain on the heart region and the lung is more severe that i find it difficult lifting my left hand up while lying on the bed.

The next day
I visited the hospital and narrated my ordeal to the young doc on duty, he ruled out lumonia to be the culprit probably bcoz i don't have cough, suspected a muscle blah blah afterwards prescribed some drugs to take for like two weeks and if symptoms persist that i should return back.
I have been diligently taking these drugs till date infact the last intake is today however i still feel the pain only on the heart region.
I do all manner of stretching while lying down at nights, to see if it can ease the pain.
Please what exactly could be the cause?
Only at night
Only at night
Hmmm
Me never see this type
Make i leave village people out of this first
