Then secondly, the simple but painful truth is that most of you Nigerians don't buy stuff like online digital goods that much.

Some are afraid of using their cards online, some are still languishing in ignorance of how easy it is to buy things online whereas most are just looking for free content or products!

You can also monetize your blog through sponsored post whereby people pay you to put up posts on your blog for them but that means your blog must be an already well established or well known blog before you can monetize through that way.

The simple answer is TRUST. it's pretty obvious that countries like Nigeria has very bad reputation online, so it might look suspicious to prospects. And again, since most buyers are Americans, having a good review from a US account will possibly signal QUALITY.

If you're using a foreign host, you could need about 10 to 15k. But if you're using a Nigerian host like WhoGoHost, you could start with about 5k to 6k.

I will also write about a tidy trick to show exact search volume for a keyword on the google adwords keyword planner.

Normally, you will see estimated search volume in ranges (1k-10k). But there is a nifty way to see the exact search volume. We will get to that.

You should also know that you aren't going to be targeting a single keyword on your niche site.

You could be ranking for multiple keywords that might have sub optimal volume but in aggregate will add up to sizeable traffic volume.
