Brightgem: Hello. I havnt written on my blog for a while I sort of shifted attention to other things this year but its www.yourhealthattitude.com
As for the second question. Payoneer is good, apply for a payoneer card, they send it to u free, just use an address the post man can find. They open a US Account for u which u can use to recieve payments from companies like Amazon of u choose to sell e-books there. You withdraw ur money with ur card here. You can't recieve money from individuals tho, and since not all companies are patners with payoneer yet, u can get someone trusted and recieve funds into their paypal account. 'trusted' I have payoneer already. I'm talking about your users. How do they buy your product in foreign currency? I don't think Nigerian MasterCards work seamlessly with foreign currency. |

Brightgem: No online hustle is easy. I used to read articles like this and think it was. I have a health blog nearing 3years original content written by myself, hasnt earned a bucks. Packaging my own videos now with skills I have in media creating movie reviews on Naija Screen Vibes to get views and page likes is work. and I just published my first ebook on Amazon.
Why I'm I still here doing all these? mostly passion. Passion for writting abt health, passion for creating videos hence the thought of using that skill for movie reviews etc. And also the fact that inbtw the hustle, I have 9 to 5 jobs that keep me going.
Its not easy and you might get discouraged, it also will not make u money over night, not now that online world is highly saturated. But do those of us who don't really have the physicall Entrepreneur energy or know how and who do a lot of things online, online hustle can pay in the long run.
Mean while make una patronise Nigerians like me for Fiverr o! Gig link https://www.fiverr.com/brightgem I am a new comer Good day. What's your blog URL? And can Nigerian MasterCard work with foreign currency? I think there was a CBN restriction some years back. |

I have a blog at www.djetlawyer.com and I plan on creating a product like an ebook. Does anyone have ideas on payment portals I can use. I have doubts about foreign portals like gumroad because it seems Nigerian ATMs don't work for foreign currency. |

pluto09: It works well here too but the major problem is knowing when to switch.
One can say the price of stocks are too high and it can still continue to go up for the next two to three years. Just look at what is happening in America, for the past two to three years now, People have been saying the price of stocks were too high and yet they have continue to climb higher .
Imagine if someone had sold his stocks 3 years ago on the assumption that price of stocks were too high. How do you think the person will be feeling now considering the fact that the returns you get from bonds /Tbills will be small compared with stocks
As for TBills and stocks, they both have their advantanges.. With Tbills, you get a shorter tenure but with fluctuations in yield. With bonds, you have a longer tenure but you have stability with yield. From what I've read, Benjamin Graham suggests that you treat your stock portfolio as an investment in a business. Meaning that you never sell your holdings unless the company is no longer profit making. So, with the T-bills bonds option, he's just saying that when stocks have P/E ratios that easily reach into the 50s and 60s, you don't buy new stocks, you buy new bonds, since they would be cheaper. |

RabbiDoracle: If I leave stocks due to high price, you push your funds into Tbills until the stock market crase stops. Instead of just leaving the money to your broker, let the money continue working for you.
The period for TBills is very short. It is usually within 1 year. If after one year and the market is still not ok, you continue the Tbills.
It works well in practice. Thanks. |

RabbiDoracle: Unfortunately, you will have to gather the information yourself. Get reports every year and then analyze them. You can do this on excel. Thanks boss. Something else. While reading the section on dealing with market fluctuations in The Intelligent Investor, Benjamin Graham suggested that since it's virtually impossible to predict market movements, an investor should buy switch to bonds when stocks are too high, and then when the price of stocks falls, he should revert to stocks. Although I don't really get the hang of bonds, it seems there is an inverse relationship between the price of bonds and stocks. So, the question is this, does this work out well in practice? Considering the fact that I've heard that the yields from bonds are so little to make any difference. Thanks boss. |

ThePost: See you. You're an established seller already na.
Here's my advice, bro. Keep delivering quality services to your clients.
If you are currently experiencing a deep in sales, it's because you're just experiencing a deep in sale (I'm not sure if this makes sense), NOT because you've been deported - as we say.
We have somehow let the skewed thought that a Nigerian account cannot do well overwhelm us. And I think it's what's presently affecting your psyche too.
Heads-up brother. Nothing to do. Stay motivated! I stopped using a VPN for about two months, changed my profile to my real face, and yet they have refused to deport me to Nigeria |

I just chatted with support. It seems they're targeting Nigerians. I para'ed for them. See excerpts of my chat below: Benji: Thanks . Please give me just a few moments to review your account. It may take me some time, but do not worry -- I wont disconnect the chat. I appreciate your patience . Olamide Olanrewaju: Okay Benji: thanks Benji: I appreciate your patience while I review this. Benji: thanks for holding for me . Benji: unforutnately, this is a company wide decision, and, cannot be re-applied . We are sorry for that. Benji: truly,. Benji: Is there anything else I can help you with? Benji: I have not heard from you for a while. This chat will disconnect soon. Olamide Olanrewaju: Hello Olamide Olanrewaju: Still here Olamide Olanrewaju: I know its a decision. What's the rationale behind it? Benji: hi Benji: I am as well . Benji: I am sorry. this was, after reviewing many accounts, the company had reached this decision. Benji: truly we are sorry. Olamide Olanrewaju: I know you are. Why did the company reach that decision? That's my issue. What specific set of people does it apply to? Olamide Olanrewaju: Is it because of my nationality? Benji: one moment Benji: Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with any information about this service being disabled for security reasons. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your cooperation. Olamide Olanrewaju: Okay. I already know the reason why Olamide Olanrewaju: Thanks for your time Benji: thank you for understanding Benji: you can still use our other services Benji: we are happy to have you here. Benji: Is there anything else I can help you with? Olamide Olanrewaju: I hope you know that the action on the part of your company is discrimination based on nationality? Probably even based on race. Olamide Olanrewaju: Discriminating against the largest nation of black people in the world is as racist as it gets. Benji: I assure you that it isnt. Benji: and, I will have to disconnect the chat, based on the extremely gross assumption of prejudcie Benji: we would never treat customers that way! Make dem no go ban my account |

Good day ogas in the house. I'm a newbie who is a fan of the value investment approach. Been following this thread since 2013 but drifted away. I just started buying my first stocks.
I'm also currently reading Benjamin Graham's the Intelligent Investor for the second time.
So, my question is this, where can get access to company financial statements that go back in time, say for a 5 to 10 year horizon? I am quite open to paid options if I'll get quality from it. If it's impossible also let me know. cc emmanuelewumi RabbiDoracle and any other ogas I have failed to mention.
Thanks. |

Tjesctacy: I blog at www.herbalpharmal.com and I must tell you adsense approval has been a bit difficult to get. I have been considering a product based model too which I think will work well with my niche, I currently have no add running because I am still under adsense review, after which I may consider alternatives. Hypothetically, I think the product model is the best. One reason is simply because it transforms you from simply being a pesky blogger looking for traffic to a business owner using the web to sell products. The only problem is that it is not a walk in the park. Nothing worthwhile ever is. A little bit of advice. If you want more subscriptions to your email list, I suggest you have a lead magnet instead of a newsletter subscription. That way, you will be able to use the full power of email marketing to scale your business. I just started taking email marketing seriously, and it's quite fun. Although it costs more, but I hope it pays off in the long run. |

fighal: Your blog niche is everything.. Always try to target tier one countries... CPA and Affiliate marketing pays more than adsense Yeah. I know that if I target foreigners, it'll make more sense since they have more money, and are willing to buy stuff online. The only problem with that for me is that I don't necessarily have the legitimacy to teach Americans/British people about law since I didn't study law there. However, I might actually do that if my stint with the Nigerian audience fails. |

BrainnewsNg: Adsense is one of the most trusted ads network for publishers, but Nigerians have made difficult for newbies to enjoy too
At www.brainnewsradio.com we make atleast 20-60 dollars daily, and we are been paid at the end of the month without delay
Also we use many other services on our portal to generate cash too. Like Amazon, Jumia affiliate programmes, music promotion etc. That's nice. You have an idea of how I can implement these models to my niche (legal)? |

questechie: Exactly why we chose to do monetization differently with direct content marketing at questechie.com It seems your revenue model is based on sponsored posts. That's nice, but I doubt that applies to my niche (legal). it's such an unexplored niche Especially in Nigeria. |

Coldfeets: AdSense is the simplest way of monetizing your blog and the best part is that it needs little or no maintenance.
Then secondly, the simple but painful truth is that most of you Nigerians don't buy stuff like online digital goods that much.
Some are afraid of using their cards online, some are still languishing in ignorance of how easy it is to buy things online whereas most are just looking for free content or products!
So most Nigerian bloggers are just stuck with AdSense, kind off...
You can also monetize your blog through sponsored post whereby people pay you to put up posts on your blog for them but that means your blog must be an already well established or well known blog before you can monetize through that way. Eish. If the major reason is because most Nigerians are not open to buying online products, then it is a structural issue, and poses more problem. I currently blog at www.djetlawyer.com and I have sizeable traffic to my website. I have applied for AdSense multiple times and have been rejected. So, I have decided to try the sell-your-own-product model. However, that hasn't been easy, and I have this nasty feeling that there must be a good reason for Nigerian blogs to shy away from this business model. To be honest, I'm just scared of failure : . I wish there was a Nigerian blogger I know who follows this business model so that I could learn from him/her. |

Good day. One question that has been bordering me is why most Nigerian blogs use adsense as their revenue model. For instance, in a lot of foreign blogs, they create their own products and sell. But in Nigeria, I haven't seen any blog that sells its own product.
There might be blogs like this that I've missed. If I have, please do tell me. Thanks. |
