Good day guys. I applied for a Payoneer card and my application was approved, after months of back and forths. Shortly after, they told me that my account has been closed for undisclosed reasons and they can't offer their services to me again. Has any other person experienced this? |

HeavenlyBang: To be fair, a contract is mostly a deterrent. But there may be ways of enforcing it from over here. I seriously doubt. Token force, you would need to institute an action in the US. A Nigerian court can't give orders that have effect in the US. |

HeavenlyBang: Urgh, I hate some clients. She said we should discuss on Skype, but she was really shady. After getting her to agree to work with a contract, as soon as I sent the contract, she blocked me, lmao. Good riddance. Scammers are everywhere now. If the client doesn't end up paying, how would you enforce the contract? Would you go all the way to the US just to sue the client? |

kaycodes: If you have a dorm account, this is usually the best option. But be aware that either the intermediary bank or your bank will deduct between 20 and 25 USD so make an allowance for 25 USD. Plus the initial 25 USD which gives a total of 30 USD.
The catch is that if you earn very high on upwork you can consolidate your funds and withdraw just once. Once you have the money in your dorm account you can withdraw in cash or sell at the prevalent black market rate which is better than these exchangers on Nairaland.com
If you don't have a dorm account Skrill may charge you some additional fees for currency conversion and use the official cbn exchange rates for you.
Do your maths and know which one is better. When I want to withdraw small change I use exchangers, otherwise I send the money to my Dorm account. I use GTB by the way and the charges per inflow is 20 USD fixed irrespective of the amount being received into the account. I tried the Skrill withdrawal option with 11 dollars. The rate was quite bloody; I got about 290. Na God go punish official rates. |

Racing: You can go ahead and withdraw to your skrill account and skrill will automatically exchange the AUD to USD If that is the currency option you opened your skrill account with. I was in the same dilemma until I had a chat with skrill support and I was told that it will not be affected. My own withdrawal entered in my skrill account in USD today. So go ahead and make your withdrawal. Thanks a lot bro |

Please I'll like to know, because I'm also planning on going into freelance writing. Thanks and I'm waiting for a response Maybe because of his sentence construction. The writing market has been saturated since time immemorial. |

Which is why that scene with Dany didnt make any sense. Sorry bro. In the show, she is immune to fire. Can you just put the books in another corner? This is Game of Thrones |

Ranchhoddas: No one said it directly but whenever he was spoken of, it was always with awe and reverence and this came from people like Ned Stark,Jaime Lannister and Barristan Selmy-great fighters who should know.GRRM was once asked who would win in a duel between Ser Arthur and Ser Barristan and he said that it would be an even contest only if Arthur Dayne did not use Dawn(his famed sword). From this, we can infer that in the pecking order,it's Arthur Dayne and Ser Barristan before any other.Personally, I'll go out on a limb to place Syrio Forel(Arya's dancing master) before venturing across the narrow sea. This is a quote by Jaime Lannister; ''I learned from the White Bull and Barristan the bold. I learned from Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning, who could have slain all five of you with his left hand while taking a piss with the right...''. This was said to members of a Kingsguard. From all the evidence you have placed, it appears that Ser Arthur Dayne is the best in Westeros. There is nothing pointing to the fact that he is the best all over the Game of Thrones world. And I think compared to the lands beyond the narrow sea, westeros is smaller, i might be mistaken though. |

siempere: Now those two are valid points.....very accurate too....I won't argue aganist those....at all... I dont want to be seen as a trouble maker. but, how are those points valid?? Did anyone in the books say Ser Arthur Dayne is the best fighter in the whole world Even if someone did, it would be very much subjective. Ser Arthur Dayne might be able to beat Drogo, but the way you are making it sound like he is way better than Drogo is kind of Awkward. |

InesQor: Yeah I understand this Books vs Movies dichotomy, especially in genres like Fantasy and Adventure. I think since the books encourage powerful imagination in good readers, but movies have to "show and tell" so sometimes the movie makers add some other details to make things engaging for those that are not really interested in pushing their imagination that far (i.e. movies often command more suspension of disbelief than books do). For me, I try to enjoy the books and the movies separately without attempting a conflation of the two. Methinks that is the best approach. |

InesQor: I think he means the show is not canon with respect to the books. Whatever, I am however very certain that on this tread, the highest authority is the Game of thrones. Any other one is secondary. |

InesQor: LOL
ASOIAF fans won't let the Game of Thrones TV series rest. Let the writers explore their creative license na. It is "based on" GRRM's book, not an exact reproduction of the book! Especially now that GRRM is taking his time to write, and the TV series has to go on, we should expect a lot of things to happen that were not in the books.
*chews kolanut* Exactly, the show and the books are quite different, I don't blame them though. Most book readers, me inclusive, are usually pissed off when they see books being torn to shreds in the films that adapt them. |
