My friend's cousin, a young girl with three kids ran to her family that she is being beaten by her husband. The family asked her to go back and bear it for her children's sake. So, she went back and the next day, she took her life. I have seen and heard so many things, so when women don't speak up, I know it is more of the fear of being judged. When I was ttcing, I went to the hospital and saw a woman in labor. This woman carried a four year old boy on her thighs while crying in pain. A man sat next to her, playing candy crush and acting unconcerned. I started rubbing her back and telling her sorry. So, this man just turned to her and asked her to shut up. The woman used her hand to cover her mouth. The man who I realized was her husband started abusing her, saying she is disturbing him with her cries. I wanted to stand up to this man but he looked violent and doctors weren't nearby. So, I left them. I am sure that woman is still with that man.

Things are really really happening.. It is well

I want to say a big thank you to all wonderful mommas on here.
In the past couple of weeks i was on meds to manage early contractions.
On Saturday 9th April I and my family moved into a project we we working on( i didnt do anything stressful) my hubby did the moving.
By night i had the most painful back to back contractions. Told hubby i felt baby wasn't ready to wait any longer.
On Sunday had guest come in to visit by past midnight i had a membrane rupture. Small of my fluids started to pass. I checked into the hospital 10mins later and was giving steroids.

My doctor came in 7am to assess thgs and since i was booked to have a scheduled c-section for May 1st cos of plenty issues. He decided to go for an emergency csection cos the fluid would stop and then start to leak.

During the surgery the team lead had to ask his partner to leave me and help the nurse resuscitate my son...for a while tot we lost him but God Almighty showed up in his usual way. My son had asphyxia. All i heard was another nurse rush in to say the paediatrician just arrived. He was actually away on a trip and for some reason felt he needed to be around.

I'm gradually recovering, my son is off oxygen and phototherapy. We are homeeee!

Praise God, thank God for his goodness to you and your family teamie.. May you son continually be a source of joy to your home in Jesus name

I just taya jare, everyday just moving slow, body pain especially at night too. If I sleep on my left side my baby will start doing hiccups like he's uncomfortable, if I turn right he go sempe for hours and body dey pain me.. it is well Sha.

I run small because of all the emotional posts ni, I no get mind lol but am fine

5 pages ke, you tried oo... Don't worry, I'm like mama kokaiye, no leave no transfer.. I'm only tired but not anxious to meet my baby. Last Saturday when my doctor was talking of this week cos one of my scans carries April 21, I rebuked him sharp sharp as I'm not in a hurry I don't know why.

I doubt the person is well. None of the curses will come upon you in Jesus name and there's no need for deactivating so that you don't make a he/she goat think he/she has had the last laugh.

I dey mad? first trimester was a bit tough for me,I complained bitterly and he has no option than to do the cookings o (with complains every now and then that I left my responsibilities for him) But as I enter second trimester and he see say I don get strength,he left everything for me,my children will help me with little works Sha,but the cooking,I must cook and wash clothes, though not always,my daughter will help me out sometimes with the clothes anyhow,even when I have little complain he will just throway face and said he has done enough for me already when I was sick in first trimester. Na to force myself enter kitchen for the children sake. I avoided that nurse like plague and I already told him,he has no option as I already accuse him of making me lost my babies.

It's good you are now more watchful, God will see us through.. Make I run go quote one old post

Seriously, when baby becomes a doctor or even president, you will hear that's my son the president, my daughter the doctor.. Yeye Dey smell... Makes me remember my dad. If you come to our house, you'd think we sell pictures. Mum said he won't give her money to buy us clothes oo insisting she has a business but when we wear new clothes, he would say my children are fine, carry us snap picture na so picture full everywhere, beautiful and ugly

Apologize ke! Till date he said nothing wrong with the drugs and it's a pharmacist that gave him and he told him it's for his pregnant wife,so he knows it won't harm me. I just dey look am. I later sent the name of those drugs to my doctor and she said I shouldn't have used it. Wetin I go do? When I was forced to take it in his presence. Forget that apologize,you see that apologize stuff,he doesn't apologize to his wife,that's just him,no matter what. He will NEVER. Na those type of people that has the mindset of I am always right o.

Sis, he simply wasn't ready for that baby in my own opinion. I stand to be corrected though..

I'm happy you've gotten yourself back.. Try and put the incidence behind you like the strong woman you are and focus on your God-given joy.. Love you plenty mama and I wish I was there to give you a big HUG
