Hi,mama. Farting means there's poo and gas in there.
Get a single match stick,wrap cotton wool round it a little bit,dip it inside mentholatum.
Place the baby face down on your lap.
Gently reflect the bum
Insert the stick gently. Not too deep inside the anus.
Run warm water with your palm between the butt in a way that it would run through the anus. Baby starts to fart very well.
Now,turn the baby to face you. Make sure there's a bath right under his/her butt.
Rock the legs gently like you are riding a bicycle.
Watch how poo will fly out. The baby may find it uncomfortable and may cry because she/he is constipated.
You need to increase your water and fruits intake. I kept eating bread as a breastfeeding mom then; my baby was severely constipated.

Pls I developed sever yeast infection when I was pregnant. My Dr gave treated me severally then but it will come back after the medication at a point I stopped complaining hoping it will resolve after putting to birth. But it just started again and its just 5weeks postpartum. Pls who knows the effective pessary (vaginal insert ) I can use to get a lasting cure as I heard its not adviceable to use oral one due to the fact am breastfeeding... Pls any solution

I'd suggest you run a culture on your urine that will tell the specific type of infection you have and also list out drugs you are sensitive too. Then you can get any drug from your list of sensitivity that's suitable for a breastfeeding mum

Hi all, please my baby of 6+ months just started taking cerelac , but then his poo got so strong that he cries if he wants to poo. We had to make it watery yet no improvement. But we had to switch to pap if it could get soft , yet the same thing. He takes orange and vitamin C , yet it's still the same thing. Please what can we do to help his poo get soft.

Hope you are giving him water, if not please do and continue with the orange as well. If it persists, there is this home remedy mums here have shared, I'll mention you when I see it

I've always thought it should be on the arm only until I saw your post and strolled to google where I saw it can be given on the buttocks too...

as long as ure even close to 36 weeks its still okay compare to early stage and its good they covered ur bump as well besides ur baby dey below the xray cassette holder.I av worked in a diagnostic centre before, the radiologist always ask how far gone is the pregnancy for pregnant women and if ure a nursing mother they go run pregnancy test for u before any xray ooo if ure nt sure.

No, personally I knew with the complaints I had that an X Ray of my chest would be needed which was why hubby and I took out time to read about it before leaving for the hospital, If not I would have also protested it. That's why I wasn't bothered + seeing the notice in the Xray lab that you should let them know if you are pregnant also gave me another kind of calm + seeing the pregnant women bands they hung which is meant for wrapping the belly + despite being wrapped, my bump was below the film holder + I carry God with me as I go there grin

+ make person no go end life for house, I had to do the needful.

Thank you ma'am. I never knew it's compulsory to complete the dose even after birthing... I was happy it won't be necessary again cos the injection itself is painful...I haven't been able to do anything with that hand like this.

Sorry about that, please complete the dose ooo... My EDD is May and my last dose is July. I only pray I don't forget

I just finished packing my hospital bag
( decided to pack early ,I hope am not the only one) and am due in May (edd 9th/20th---different scan) according to lmp am due 19th.

It actually took some time because I had check the list one after another, ticking anything wey don enter bag.i had to remove one jumbo size toilet roll because the bag could not lock.maybe just leave it at home or just hold am for hand when going to the hospital(bdw the hospital required two)

I had a slight tough time choosing outfits bcoz of some factors,I have a ultrasound appointment soon.once I find out the gender hopefully,am planning to get gender specific clothing and swap them with the neutral ones at least for the comminghome outfits

Happy bumping to all the bumping mothers and baby dust to ttc moms.

Yummy mummy you are not the only one whose bag is ready ooo. Infact when leaving for the hospital yesterday, hubby was told to carry bag incase of incasity..
What are you doing with jumbo size tissue,why not two small ones?? Just asking cos I bought 2 small ones as they didn't specify size

It won't affect anything. The third dose is usually 6 months after the second and you'll have birthed your baby by then. Just make sure you don't miss it so that you won't start again in your next pregnancy (so I heard)

Ur doctor told you to do an X-ray But u’re pregnant?! The X-ray radiation rays is harmful to the baby or am I missing something

I read about it in Google before leaving home that it's safe and even in the xray lab, it was stated that you should let them know if you are pregnant. Since my tommy is massive, I did not need any story but there is this very thick something that was wrapped around my tommy. Double of it was wrapped round my tommy and the guy said its to shield the baby...

u did xray or scan?! Mind u xray is a big NO 4 preggy mama n children under 3yrs or so

I did oo, something very thick was doubled around my tommy region. Moreover I read its safe to have an x Ray before going to the hospital as I knew my case would require xray

I was telling a woman who visited me this afternoon, anything MIL cannot do, its hubby that will do it (shey he was home den sef helping with the cooking as I'm not well angry

even if I can jump up from day 1, I won't oo, me too i wanna relass and be taken kiarof... Its not everytime abeg cheesy

Rant time....

Now I've been having cough for some days cos of exposure due to the heat and now the cough pains in my right rib region.... Two days back I used honey which made it subside though I stil cough but it doesn't pain in the rib again as such..

Now this evening after my neighbour said hello and went In I coughed and had rib pull (like muscle pull) and I couldn't stand Straight , had to walk in like a slowpoke (I'm sorry but that's the best description I could get) with so much pull and pain in my right ribs . Thank God hubby was there to guide me in though with plenty laughter (donno what's funny) and questions on if it's labour.. To cough dey hungry me right now but when I try to my entire right side is like it's in serious shock ..

Has anyone felt like this before,what can I use? I've been massaged there but this is not heavenly at all , I just want to cough this last one in peace

Update::
A very big thank you to everyone who checked on me one way or the other, I'm so grateful..
After a long night, I woke up a little better with the rib-like contraction reduced only to start again.. We went to the hospital and I was given 2 intravenous pain relief and the third on my butt after which I was sent for an X-ray which showed there was nothing in my ribs and that they were normal (I could have sworn that Something was there). Went back to the hospital where it was confirmed that it was the muscles around the rib pulling and causing the pain,,, I was given pain relieving tabs and an antibiotic for the cough... All along my Lo was quiet inside and I was almost worried but as soon as the pain relieved me I could feel her almost everywhere.. I just knew it was my body preparing for labour.

And Please let's be careful with the drugs we are given at the hospital, better to be safe than sorry...
My Gynea was not on seat when I went, so I conversed with a general doc and the antibiotics given me was Arthrotec 75 which she said contains Diclofenac and Misoprostol (I exclaimed) but she quickly explained that diclo has tendency of causing ulcer while the misoprostol is to subside the diclo effect on the stomach lining.. On getting home I went on Google and saw that it's not suitable for pregnant women at all stages as it causes abortion, foetal death, premature something something etc though what she said about the drug was also true as I read it online so I picked my phone and called my gynae.. On hearing the drug name + how far gone I was, he screamed who gave you on the phone and I mentioned the doc, immediately he said I shouldn't use it, called the doc and scolded her then called back to apologise to me then told me to bring it back at my next appointment..

True talk mama its not easy if u can seek for help pls do a neighbour of mine put to bed last month she's practically doing all in the home down to [/b]even washing MIL cloths ooo,see mama DAT is supposed to assist came with a small girl[b] to do what she complains of body pain and the tear she had while delivering is still yet to heal. I just pity her she is working till evening baby keeps crying and her husband sis almost gave baby hot water to drink without allowing it to cool yesterday. Am already planning on how my lil sis can come around until easter next yr sha can go back.cos I had no help althru 4mnths of morning sickness just one kindhearted neighbor dat kept cooking for me, I can't pass thru dat again sha

Mo sorry... Though I know my MIL is very hard working and I've seen it but if it turns out like the above, na her son go do am oo or better still let my mum come and take care of her daughter...

My neighbour was telling me of how her friend's baby almost stopped growing cos of lack of care... Her Hubby brought in his sick grandmother cos his wife is a nurse and 2 extra grown people came with the grandmother. The wife has to make different foods as one is diabetic before going to work, she takes care of the house and all but the baby gets very little care. Baby fell sick and she was the only one in the hospital with the sick baby who eventually passed, what a world..

My motto with this belle is "if you can't ease me of my stress, don't add to it"

Please seek for anyone to come stay with u even if its from 10yrs upward , please ask for any family relative that can help, its holiday period, at least someone can come

I'm begging because, my sister was alone after birth, 7yrs later and now she is having constant back pain and heart problem

I know u are very strong, I know u can do it but please let someone come around for a short time, to relieve u pls

She's not in Nigeria that's why it's not easy getting someone to stay with her... Now any relative you invite for such abroad, Hmmmn, na oyo you dey oo except your own blood
