Milk is safe, well I don't know about Milo, I didn't take it throughout my first tri but now I add just a little to my milk. Taking just few spoon of it once in a while isn't bad.

Orange juice wa okay nah, abi... Other mamas will answer u about that one but orange is good, Soo....

You won't believe till date I still prefer room temperature water, I don't even crave cold water despite this northern heat.. I've never had craving for tea as well, Chai I pray my baby is not local ooo

Orange juice is safe according to google and moderation is key. Better still buy your oranges and squeeze out the juice yourself

Please, mummies in the house, I need sincere answers. Those that have gone for fibriod surgery, how was the the feeling? I got married last year and it was discovered I have fibriod, and my parents suggested I go for the surgery.
Sincerely, I'm scared of this journey. Though, I believe in God but you know as human many thoughts are just running through my mind. I just need someone to hold my hands and say it is well.
Note: if there's anything that I can use to shrink it without affecting my womb and health, I don't mind.

Hello Mamas...longest time o. How body? I'm a June mama (2021). Baby is going to 10 months now and he stands on his own. He's about to start walking. Hubby says we should try for another baby. That's our child is old enough. If God answers his prayer this month, we will have another child by Dec. I'm a bit worried. Is it okay to have another child so soon? I just gave birth last year na. Has anyone been through this before? How did it go?

If it happens this month, congratulations afterall many mistakenly concieve shortly after giving birth and many even plan it that way but if it doesn't, I'll suggest you hold on a bit especially if you don't have anyone to help you arothe house and with your baby cos it's you it will take a toll on considering that your baby is totally dependent on you and pregnancy comes with different packages..

If you also feel ready physically and mentally, the golden chair is waiting for you

Good morning fellow mothers . Please I need your advise o as I am a ftm. I am 41 weeks and 3 days yet no sign of labour. My hospital is saying I will be induced at 42 weeks if I don’t go into labour. Some people have been telling me 42 weeks is to late that I should have been induced by now. What do you think about this as I am panicking badly.

Please don't panic as its not good for you and baby right now.... I don't know why your hospital insisted on 42 weeks if you don't fall into labour but I'll suggest you go for a scan to be sure baby is fine because as they grow in there, the space reduces for them....

Also do more of trekking, squatting and other things that can trigger labour. Safe delivery ma'am

Everything is safe ma'am though they say milo and milk makes babies big in the tommy so you might want to prevent excess consumption..

Seek your doctor's opinion ma... People give birth to big babies normally as well but I'm sure they were certified to go ahead by their doctor. I remember reading the BA/BS of one mama here that has a 4+ kg baby without tears(she said her vagina was on fire )... Your doctor will either certify you or not so please consult him/her

Good morning Mama's. I am 10 weeks already, I am always having this severe stomach pain after eating, I can't eat any other food except Semo with Okro or vegetable and pap. I can't take milk,bread and co, if I eat Any other thing apart from Semo or pap, I will vomit to the point of been sick. For fruit all I can take is water melon, Banana leaves me Bloated with pain, I have tried several food but I keep getting the same result. When ever I take Ferrous my body will keep shaking.
at what week can one go for 1st scan.

Sorry about the pain, ensure you eat what your body accepts. Very soon this phase will be over......
I'll suggest you skip the ferrous and try folic acid till your body is balanced... Also you can go for scan as you are 10 weeks already and your LO is visible enough.

Baby decide not to suck brez oooo ... I tried all i could, breast milk didnt come out quick enof for 4days so during dis 4days i got him formula to drink cs e gaz eat now n doing everytin possible to mk brezmilk com forth.. U know, i did hot water breast massage, breast pump, pressing n pressing, drink oat, tea, notin came out... Den i google n firm my ans fenugreek capsule... Bought d almighty expensive pill, used it n it worked, brezmilk started comin out... Then i gave bobo mk him suck oooo.... Him no gree suck, just dey carry mouth comot.... Ha!!! I was lik wat is dis bayii, me dt plan to do EBF... Dis is how my plan just scatter lik dt, e does tk d brez milk frm bottle but expressing milk everytin is time consuming, painful n exhausting n drink firmula lik a pro. So dis is how EBF is thrown out of d window by my stubborn baby . i ve my plan, baby too hv his.... Imagine!!! So i will now b spendin moni buyin formula, Ha!! Nawao!!!!. End of rant

Mama boys sorry about baby's shakara.. I think you should continue to put him to latch, when he begins to process the sweetness, he might change. Don't give up on EBF just yet.
And well done on holding up without help, it is well with you.

I'm team April 4th the waddling is not easy o, even to climb bed is war for me most times.

Y'all remember I dropped my consultant suggestion about bringing baby at 37weeks, my antenatal was on Friday and I went to see him because he stated on my card to always see him after every antenatal class.

So he checked me and said there's nothing to sorry about, my bp is very normal they'd keep monitoring me.
so my next visit is 39wks(next week friday) am looking forward 2 meet my Lo anytime soon...

I’m one week away from third trimester and all my first trimester symptoms are crawling in. I feel so worn out, I’ve been vomiting, everything now smells disgusting and I feel sick in the evenings just like my first trimester. Make my baby just resemble me. Pregnancy is a very under rated topic aswear. Our mothers are goddesses.

To all Mums and DADs especially FTMs and FTDs...
While washing this evening, my neighbour was telling me to tell hubby to make sure he checks whatever is handed to him as placenta before leaving the hospital especially if it's a general hospital. I asked why and she said when she gave birth to her first child at one of the govt hospitals close by, she remembered telling her husband to check the nylon given to him and that her hubby found used diaper, cotton wool and other trash wrapped in the wrapper covered in blood, no placenta until the husband raised voice and was begged by the nurse not to shout. He was eventually given the placenta.

Few years later the husband went to the hospital with one of his masons who took his wife to the hospital for delivery (another hospital), after the news of the birth the father of the baby was given the placenta which he received with joy,,,, she said her hubby noticed the strange look and action on the nurse and he asked the noise loud and clear where is the placenta that he is sure there is no placenta in that nylon and the same pleading nonsense started. I learnt nurses who do that sells it to ritualists. Ours will not be like that in Jesus name.

In a nutshell, mums let's educate our husbands not to get carried away with the joy of having a newborn and they should not get irritated wanting to open the nylon given to them because of not wanting to see blood afterall if they no give us belle all those blood no go comot.

As I be FTM.... Advice plenty.... I don tire sef... I don't know what to do again... I force myself most times to take the drugs..cos on a normal day without pregnancy I am not a fan of drugs except if the thing don hook me. I'll keep managing... May God see us through...

No medical personnel will tell you not to take your prenatals, they will tell you to try. I'm sure you have seen post from mamas saying pregnacare is easier to use as it's a single tablet, maybe you should switch to it.

Before pregnancy, I can use drugs as I should but right now, the drug doesn't nauseate me but scatters my system after Ingestion so I can't kill myself
