1. Please I'll like to ask. When is it advisable for one to stop working.

I'm presently 35weeks.

I still feel very fine. Tho slight backaches, stomach tightening and all that. But really mild. nothing serious.

I asked my doctor in 33weeks appointment he didn't give a definite answer.

Hubby is advising I stop by 37 weeks but I don't like to be at home without working(I enjoyed working)

What's the advice please?

1. If you feel you can continue with work it's fine but cut down on your workload. Let whatever you do at work now just be like an exercise to you and not trying to please your superiors BUT if hubby wants you to stop at 37 and he really means it, you can and supplement with the little house chores you can do so as not to stay idle and also keep your body exercised.

2. Its very normal to do more than one scan. Normally your hospital should have done an anomaly scan on you at 20 week thereabout. Also as you approach EDD, you should do another scan to know baby's presentation in preparation for delivery as it will help guide you hospital.
But you try shaa since 13 weeks? I'm 32+ and I've had like 3 done. I'm only restraining myself to keep it further

8 weeks is fine for your first scan and congratulations to you as well..

I don't know of intramural fibroid but from scans before pregnancy I was also told I had 2.. I remember my previous antenatal appointment when my doctor was telling me "the fibroid they thought would give me issues is not giving me issues" and I responded in my heart "that's because there's nothing there".

You have to manage yourself very well and work with your doctor + whenever you notice any slight symptoms, don't take it for granted. We've had mamas whose fibroid degenerated with pregnancy. Above all pray. You will carry to term in Jesus name

The pelvic pain is not here ooo especially when wanting to get up after lying down. It's even more painful when I lay on my left side and it makes me walk like one who is in labour but Glory be to God for the experience

Forget all the guesses they are giving you here, dont download any period calendar because you need someone with experience to calculate it for you. As for me I strongly believe your fiance is the owner of the pregnancy.

Every lady should know how to calculate their period and be experienced in it. If she knew how to, she wouldn't have brought the question to Nairaland. And the earlier an unmarried lady learns to use the period calculator, the better and more useful it will be in marriage as per knowing safe periods and fertility days.

My traditional wedding is in 2 months time but I just discovered I am 5weeks and 5 days pregnant. Sorry oo, go and download a period app and enter the date of your last two or more periods if you have the record. It will help you to accurately tell your cycle length and your fertile window. Then check the period of those things you did if any fell on your fertile or ovulation period. Donno if you gerrit.
And please stay away from whatever will rip you from happiness in marriage, its not so difficult

Nipple cleaning helps to open up the pores in preparation for breastfeeding, It can be done from 36 weeks.
To clean the nipples, apply olive oil or coconut oil to the nipples and the blackbarea around the nipple and leave for 10 minutes before cleaning with a towel. Some black stuffs will be falling off.

Baby hair full or not,we Muslims must cut baby's hair,that first hair must be cut off. But I noticed most christians don't mind leaving the hair like that,some end up plaiting a male child ,so it's by choice. Like when I had my daughter,we cut off her hair after 7 days, her hair came back with full force within 3 months,my late mother in-law insisted we cut it again that she's too small to start plaiting cos she really get hair no be small.
