I am from Anaocha L.G.A., Anambra State, lived in Oyo State, had my tertiary education in FUTO and currently working in Awka. This is to tell you that I have full knowledge of what I am saying here. Oyibo/Oyinbo belongs to Yoruba and bekee belongs to Igbo.

You are very ignorant and lack the knowledge of what you are talking about. I am from Idenmili just like Pazienza and I have never heard my grand mother who died at 83yrs use Bekee. My father never used it and so is my mother and the older generation. Bekee spread due to the introduction of central Igbo which was based on Imo and Abia vocabulary.
People in northern Igbo land never used Bekee until we were made to use the version of central Igbo that was based on the Imo and Abia vocabulary. And I doubt you are truly from Anocha,anybody can claim anything here...lol. The way you are bleeding over this Oyibo thing one will think your father was Oduduwa...lol

Abia and Imo use Bekee,while Omanbala,Enugwu and Enuani use Oyibo. We in Omanbala also answer Oyibo as last/surname name.

I think Kenya is getting it right and when you watch their President speak you can see why.
People like Charles Soludo,Akinwunmi Adesina,Peter Obi ,Salisu Lamido Salisu before he became Emir and Willie Obiano should be Nigerian President. Not fashola who was literally swimming in money when he was the governor and still didn't blow our minds but started deporting Nigerians in Nigeria. In a sane country Fashola will never hold a federal post, but anything goes in Nigeria....Its so sad.
I never argue with people about what a disgrace Nigeria is because that will make me a liar and for what ? You have a President who openly said those who didn't vote for him will not get much attention...What a rettarded statement. And people are here arguing with Ghanaians ,South Africans and Kenyans that are light years ahead of us. The university that was built for us by the British has been ran to the ground with favoritism.
Nigeria had absolutely nothing to be proud of but I am still proud of my home state for everything we have achieved with little resources...Anambra erika!
