Am not here to advocate neither am I here to condemn, BT I have 2 questions.
1. is it a federal road?
2. I heard someone said it wasn't budgeted for is it true?
if true then we know it all propaganda, that if it a federal road that wasn't budgeted for, it all propaganda, for APC to gather vote during this forthcoming Edo election. I would love for someone to give us the full story of this project.

There's no big deal if they decide to take some days off work... after all it's not like they are doing any reasonable business other than selling Petty craps and used and fake products. When they are tired of staying at home, they'll return to their master's shop.

Igbo people who do real big business don't have time for all these nonsense. You can ask Elumelu or Ubah.

I see comment here and I just shake my head, today's sit at home protest show's that if push comes to shove and a referendum is held today this minute right now, Nigeria doesn't stand a chance, it shows where the heart of the people of the eastern region lies.
if referendum is held in all state all 70 percent of citizen in those state will opt to leave Nigeria.
And to that guy that said he went to yaba and bought things from one Igbo guy, and he in the process asked about this sit at home protest and why he didn't comply, my brother! he will tell u what u want to hear, we all know how hostile the security forces are toward the igbos, who knows if u are one of them.we know them.

I really don't want to comment on this thread and the other one on FP, BT some comment I read, just need to be corrected. now today sit at home protest is not for Biafra BT for the release of a political prisoner, now nnamdi KANU will be in court today, this is just to show soliderity to prove that he still ghat the backing of the people, if the trial will continue tomorrow, the sit at home protest will still be held tomorrow. the Igbos are talk and do.if they choose to stay a week, they will agree on it and go ahead with it. the spirit of the Igbo man can not be broken easily, we are resolute.

Nonsense post

The whole nigeria ... no one applied to unn apart from igbo and you think the system is transparent enough?seriously.

When it favours igbos, it's okay and no problem,no whining like a biatchh, but it favours other tribe, it is unacceptable .. and they want BIAFRA.

When Stephen keshi took 98% of igbos to nations cup,it was okay then,it was based on merit.

I guess no players from south west or north are not qualified or applied to be in national team.

But when, political appointment didn't favour them, they started calling for people's head.

Same when they plan their coup, when everything favours the igbo, azikwe and the rest igbos want one naijariya, now that it doesn't, whining begin..

Like I said on the other thread,I'm patiently waiting for when something to favour any other tribe in Nigeria and lemme see one ibo will whine..

Nonsense.
Mr.man we as well patiently await the list of other federal universities, did u or ur siblings applied for UNN and u know u merited it and u weren't accepted into the university. how many of ur siblings and friends applied for UNN, u will even be the one discouraging them, saying why will they go too far when they have the likes of OAU and the rest. if u lie now eh, the thunder, I say the thunder hmm let me not finish that statement.

UNN is the most prestigious university in the east o...
u why didn't u apply to the same said university?? how many of ur said Yoruba kit and kin picked any university in the east??.

I totally disagree with the op on this one, it was carefully done to prevent visitors frm migrating to the other side of the river so as to maintain their strict population of d native people...while ur people has bn giving priority and considerations in the west to d extent you installed Eze ndigbos in Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Abeokuta e.t.c

Only a fool will believe that non igbos and yorubas did not apply to the university..like you have wrongly stated

Take FUTA, OAU, Ilorin, Benin as a case study, candidates are giving slots from each regions be it on merit or without merit to allow selection from all geopolitical zones frm arround the country.

if yorubas's cut off mark should be made 70, believe me other tribe including the igbos will be giving 40 to 50 that is how it is done here.

I read it here on nairaland and linda ikeji' tribalism comments of igbos during d time buhari made the oni of ife the pro-chancellor of the university of Nigeria Nsuka it was horrific and sickening.
Y'all can still check it here www.lindaikejisblog.com/2016/02/ooni-of-ife-sworn-in-as-chancellor-of.html?m=1

It is university if Nigeria not University of igbos for God sake, that university should be the best in Nigeria and Africa to make Nigeria a great country but if na only igbo students dey there, the purpose has bn forfeited.

Same thing is applicable to the recruitment of staff in state and federal universities....the southwest readily considers staffs applications frm all regions.
have u also gone to check the list of those who applied?? before u come out here to say this crap.

I agree fully, infact when I heard my language Igbo would soon go into extinction ah.. I retraced my step I have vigorously learnt Igbo and I preach it like the gospel, and the saying is true, I reside in Lagos majority of the igbos found, are too shy or ashamed to speak the language cos they think English is posh and the feel educated or more literate that those who speak their native language.

So, I was just in my office in the US relaxing (jejely) after a meeting, when I saw the post of UNN, Nsukka's provisional admission list released by the registrar Chris Igbokwe. So, I took a few minutes of my break time to peruse the names. I observed that over 99% of all the newly admitted students are ALL Igbos. Out of the over 15,000 admitted students I could only count about 10 confirmed Yoruba names. In fact, many of the departments do not have a SINGLE non-Igbo student admitted. This is a federal University for God sake! 99% from the same region! We understand that its situated in the East but haba take it easy Igbo people. When the Hausas do it, you are always the first to condemn them. The problem is that my Yoruba people in the SW will be the ONLY ones admitting people based on merit from across the country to the detriment of our own people - because we want to be seen as decent human beings. The Hausas and the Igbos do not give a fvck. The are just too tribalistic. We should start doing in the SW what the Igbos are doing in Nsukka - No more admission for Igbo students in UNILAG etc. until the Igbos change their ways.
did u also gone thru the list of those who applied to find out how man non igbos applied for admission at UNN, why would u just criticize without having well back evidence to prove ur claim. those non igbos that apply for UNN are they up to 10% do they merit it, why are u guys this tribalist, when will this ur pull down the Igbo syndrome end.

davodyguy:
so?

This is just semntics by Damola.

The exploration has begun and crude oil is being extracted and exported, with income being generated.

I'm not sure Lagos borders any of the NG states that would make them wants to lay claim to the other part of the water ways, where the oil can be explored.

All waters ways still belong to the FG.

Some people might misinterpret this, as if there was no discovery.

Get it. There was discovery in the water close to Lagos and as of now, Lagos State has be allocated ownership status of 4 oil wells.

Whether the 200 isobath was fraudulently introduced by OBJ or not, Lagos is now controlled by the party at the centre. With Fashola, Tinubu and Ambode, its only a matter of time, before the 2004 pact is reviewed for the benefit of all.

May be this is the only opportunity for that restructuring to take place. This means more money to the oil producing states. However, the negative part of this possible review is that the governors would probably still cheat the indigenes of the states. Even with 2004 pact, Lucky Igbenedon, James Ibori and Peter Odili, still stole billions from their states. Giving more money to their cronies in government now may spell doom for the people. With the FG having the money, you are guaranteed a good spread.

Sir let's the truth be. Even if you don't point finger at PMB. I know you're complaining of this administration of marginalizing SE. Answer with yes or No. Is Gej and Obj also marginalizing South 4 not rotating those positions No matter When the ministry is form is not an issue, its 4 the betterment of ND, must it be person from South?.?. Nigeria operate under the constitution, ist written in the law.

If Buhari should dare appoint northerner.....the rest is story. And beside that nothing much to write about D development of ND, though the ministers are from the south. Will you advocate a ministry for Northeast development?

My problem on these issues is why now?
why now what do u mean why now. I will continue to say that this government does not have what it takes to carry all party along right from the inception. and u should stop making it look like the country won't move on without the igbos. with it appointment and remarks, it well stated that the country doesn't need the igbos to move on, and the Igbos are okay with that.

Since the return of Democracy, the first President is Yoruba from Ogun. He did not appointed southerner as EFCC chairman, he left Yaradua R.I.P tenure also, likewise Jonathan. Non of them appointed southerner as FCT minister despite being capital 4 all, today its the fault of Buhari.

Is there any law that says a northerner should be minister of FCT. The answer is No.

Is there any law that says a Southerner should be minister of Niger Delta. The answer is No. The ministry was creates was created by northerner, he has the power as president 2 appoint any person of his wish. why all southerners. Why don't you complain about that, becuz it favors u.

I support FCT minister from other region, but the question is will you support ND minister from the north.

U make me laugh, you know deep down u really don't support it. the minister for ND affair didn't come about until the period of militancy if am not wrong. it didn't exist before it. if not for militancy there will be no such minister, FCT didn't come about that way. EFCC is an agency that should be run like other agencies, with equal rotation.back to ur question, I never mentioned buhari in my last qoute, I only mentioned agencies that that have Been dominated BT northerners since it inception.stop prolonging this argument.

Sir I know what i said.

I said it raises not started.

You talk of marginalization, you could not defined what you term marginalization. If for example I mentioned Hon Dr. Emanuel Ibe as state minister 4 petroleum. You will say he is Igbo from Delta. If I should mention other people you will all bring excuses.

Who do you think are favored in this administration, perhaps you may said Hausa. Let me give u example. If the north should think the way you think.

Then Burutai is Kanuri not Hausa
Air Marshall saddiq is Fulani from bauchi not Hausa.
what about the rest?? since u feel u have the monopoly of knowledge unto such matters.if u want us to go into southern And northern domination of federal ministers and agencies, EFCC where has all it chairmen been originating from?? FCT abuja where has all it ministers been originating from? if u ur reason for the ministers of the FCT being from the north is that FCT is in the north.is FCT not for all of us why won't a Yoruba man or kalabari man Head that minister, is EFCC not for all of us, or is it meant for the north. think my brother think

it's coincidence yardua have died.

If Gej have decided to choose Yoruba after Yar'adua died, then he cannot Win 2011 election with that selection.

Who choose the leaders of arms of government Me or You or representatives? Do we have any Igbo in APC that can be elected as Senate President or Speaker. You guys hated north, so you completely put all your eggs in to one basket.(PDP)

Secondly ist Buhari that put Northerner as Chief Justice Do you think with your brain. They have their way of electing chief judge. Chief Judge was there b4 Buhari just like Arase and CBN Governor.

The northerners will not agree if the leaders of assembly are all Southerners bla bla bla..... What will they do then Are there going to go against the Constitution that only members of House can vote.

Where were u wen OBJ dictate to House of Representatives to elect Yoruba as speaker, but they still defy him and elect tambuwal

How come the reps defy the orders of APC captain Tinuba on who to elect as their leaders.
like I said I my last post, APC is a party that will and can not carry everybody along weather opposition or in position.that my brother is where they fail as a government if the appointment were to be balanced, backlash of hatred for this government won't even see daylight. buhari proved without doubts that he is not happy with the fact that the south/south/east didn't give him much vote. appointment was a way to show that the bygone of the elections are indeed what they ought to be. when u dont carry a certain region Along and the feel left out and unwanted they seek for an escape route. it the more reason why the igbos hugs the biafran idea so firmly.
