I will be happy if you attack the post. Or point out errors.
I don't think u will be. u said Biafra agitation started after the gej lost the election, yo wrong it been on before the election and it on paper back than that the director solicited for all those who he referred to as Biafran should boycott the election, the Biafran issue only spread like wildfire when Mr KANU was arrested. the biafran issues has nothing to do with gej.
2. you can't tell that you are too blind to see how the Igbos have being shortchanged in this government for reasons best known to them. in as much as they have wailed the government has refused to listen. a government that openly divides it own country both vocal and his body movement is no government at all, I don't know which region yo from I can't assume BT if for any reason ur region is benefiting from the government I see no reason why u should switch sides. the Yoruba took sides with the north and they won the election the igbos took sides with status quo and status quo lost, I don't think it enough reason for them to be sidelined for the fact that they are in the opposition. PDP may be corrupt BT one thing u can't take away from them is how they balance the equation no matter ur size or position, u must have a say in the matter, everyone get carried along.

Lol. You sound like an illiterate. And it seems you have a fundamental problem with English language. Especially reading and comprehension.

Everything I posted on this thread has been pretty much clear and straightforward. Igbos aren't indigenous to Delta. They got there as slaves, just as they were slaves everywhere in Rivers, all the way to a place called Bonny and where Jaja of Opobo ruled.

Those tribal settlement weren't that big back then and it was easy for the Igbo slaves to dominate them in terms of population. And everything is well documented. The population of the Itsekiris back then was about 10,000-20,000. The Urhobos weren't even more than 100,000. Now imagine what the huge Igbo population of 4million would do to all the other small settlements where they worked as slaves. It's well documented that Igbo slaves outnumber the number of indigenous folks where the worked in that axis.

Anyway, why do people who got to a location as slaves want to force their identity on those they met there? To know Igbos aren't indigenous to Delta - you just have to check the history of Onitsha. Onitsha folks just started embracing Igbo identity less than 50 years ago loool. Stop reaching loool.
like I said before, yo just hate filled, the olukami (the yorubas) in the midst of igbos town, it been well documented that the olukami has in that land for over 400 years , why didnt they adopt the language of the so called indigenes u just mentioned, why Igbo. since u said igbos were slaves, do slaves own lands or do slave masters assign lands to it slaves at the expense of it children. big big English doesn't interpret history and well known fact. when did the slave trade start and when did it end is that enough time for a people of a few thousands to multiply in the millions u just mentioned. jaja is not and cannot be a prop enough yardstick for ur fallacious analysis which is devoid of concrete fact.

Lol. You're a clown lol.

Can you cite anywhere in the history books where Agbor/h has ever been called Igbo?

Intra-tribal wars have been happening since the beginning of time. Get educated lol.

like I said yo one whose stupidity is celebrated by himself alone. u said other town from the west banks are under Bini empire or as u rightly side are of the Bini extraction, why would the crown want to steal slaves from it own people.

If you're honest, you will understand that these two situations are completely different. I'm telling you this and you can find out from anybody from Agbor and environs. We can't speak Igbo but we understand Igbo to some extent but still get lost every now and again. But to twist your tongue to speak Igbo? No way.

This argument might not have come out if not for the double standards of the Europeans that classifies everybody else as one but are quick to pronounce their differences. If not can anybody explain to me why Dutch and German is different language and Chinese The same language? Even Portuguese and Spanish/French and Italia that are said to be 90 % lexically similar
agbor is a town boarded by another ethnicity who in the period past went toe to toe with the Benin headhunter of the Benin Royal house. for u yo be in the know of what going on in the camp of ur enemy, language is absolutely essential.

Shut ya gob and pay attention to the knowledge I'm kicking lol. All I'm doing is to civilise ya primitive mindset lol.

Igbos outside Onitsha to the West and anywhere South of Igboland got their through slavery. They were slaves in the two axis pre-Nigeria and it is well documented. Yes, they did outnumber the indigenous people in those places. However, that doesn't negate the fact that they went to those places as slaves. So, why would people who settled in places outside their ancestral lands as slaves want to dictate an identity to the indigenous people they met there? A lot of folks from Delta in the so called Aniona for example can trace their ancestry to Bini and they were the ones who owned these Igbo slaves. Slaves can't dictate to the owners of land - learn to pick ya battles wisely.

Oyo owned slaves but they were mostly Bariba, Fulani, Hausa, and Nupe. And apart from Ilorin, most of these slaves were assimilated into the Yoruba identity and they are Yoruba today. That's what Igbos in Delta need to do - assimilate into the Bini culture they met there. And if they can't do that, the ones who are Igbo should claim Igbo and let the Bini ones claim Bini.
u contradict ur own stupidity u said any Igbo found from anywhere outside Onitsha down west into agbor where slaves who went on to outnumber the indigene,I mean hear urself agbor fought toe to toe with the Bini headhunters if agbor was a Bini town as u rightly categorized all other town in the west bank of the Niger as town owned by Bini indigenes, why would Bini hunt for slave in it own region, and why would agbor a town in ur so called Bini empire go toe to toe with the crown.

I'm from Anioma but I can only understand about 50% of Central Igbo. A typical Agbor man doesn't know the meaning of words like Odum, Agu, ichie, gburugburu, ju ese, umu azi, I can go on and on. I sat an Igbo friend down last year and began to ask him the meaning of many Igbo words. I was surprised about how little I know
I am from IMO state and I don't understand some Igbo words, we learn everyday like I learnt today that beans is called agwa. we learn everyday If we are not too lazy to learn the dialect of our kit and kin from across the Niger.

you called Hausas/Yorubas cowards, but they are benevolent hosts. You are like tick feeding on their blood, you won't leave their lands alone. Your survival depends on the magnanimity of them. You scream biafra yet you sit like olumu rock in the region of tribes you so detest, while fanning the ember of persecution. What a paradox! To be candid, the igbos need other tribes mire than those tribes need them. Just take the population ratio of igbos in other lands to their hosting other tribes. Even before amalgamation, the igbos have been in romance with the Hausas. This tell why Zik's mum was from Niger state and him born in the north. For those claiming igbanke land, dare not if you don't want to share the fate of the Onyeregbulems. The binis are friendly and few, but you don't toil with the tail of the cobra. The Benin monarch won't take such arrant nonsense from some marauding conquistadors or land grabbers. If the igbos are really sincere about Biafra, all of them should return home and burn down the Niger bridge. By such act, they would have forcefully severe their ties with the rest of this political entity. Until they do this, I guess they are in self delusion because economic ties us their first priority than cultural affiliation....
burn the bridge and leave our brother behind, we can never make such mistake again. igbanke is of the Igbo stock I will not fan the ember of war with u, onyeregbulem is of one individual, we will crush anyone that dares crosses path with us with regards to igbanke issue. I dare u again.

So of dem wil boldly tell u dat u are not one of dem and that u are from South South not East. D estaerners are d major reason y aniomas deny to b igbos
such are been perpetuated by the ignorant ones, as well as those who are lazy in trying to understand the dialect of their fellow igbomen. I do watch movies on African magic Igbo unto who's dialect are by far distinct from central Igbo, most of my peers who are igbos where complaining that they don't understand, BT after listening to it properly with kin interest u find out that they are all the same, the Igbo language from anioma axis is quiet faster than those of us in the south east that just it.

Anioma people have different experiences. Some people from my family have no problem with being called Igbo while some detest it.

As for those claiming it's the Yorubas's and Fulani's causing this division, all I can say is keep your ignorance to yourself.
Most of the Anioma's who don't like being called Igbos have stories to tell about the SE people reminding them of their origin.
that we have to correct my brother that we have to correct.
