Business / Re: Aba: We Struggle To Produce Made-in-nigeria Shoes by OMAR12: 7:35am On Dec 03, 2016 |
I use made in aba shoes, when I was in port Harcourt, these shoes are really really nice, I Still have them till today, durable ( the gum and everything). just that the leather covering of the shoe starts peeling off after 4-5 years. BT 4-5 years is enough for a shoe bought at the rate of 1000 to 1,500.(not in ariaria itself ooo). there are some shoes u buy for 15 to 20k that won't last 7 walking ( not working) days. so more grease to their elbow. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Emefiele, Bagudu, Ogbeh Visit Ebonyi, Back Umahi's Ban On Foreign Rice (Pics) by OMAR12: 5:52am On Nov 29, 2016 |
girlvyn:that because they believe this local rice won't sell in the market. Nigerians believe that anything foreign is the best. BT I believe that with more sensitization and promotion of this said commodity, we will get there. I myself am even planning on getting at least a bag of the said anambra rice on route to IMO state where am from during the festive period. |

okay, what Yoruba about this, true the Yoruba promote African fabric by putting them on all the time, back in the day, Yoruba hardly put on English cloths ( I loved that and am try to emulate that) these days their youth go with the trend seen in music videos( this time patronizing the works of my aba brothers, I also commend them for that). BT this fabric has nothing to do with Yoruba or Yoruba's, this fabric Is worn all over Africa, Senegal, Liberia, Tanzania. I know it as African fabrics and nothing more. 3 Likes 1 Share |

let them first do what they want to do in the east first, BT this thread is coming too early. this should have come at a time when every proposed project would have enter near finishing stage, we all know what we want. the south east will go for what will be beneficial to them.I don't see buhari running for second term. |

supported, abia state and anambra state should do the same, they should go to those retail shops to sieze this goods, when they do this twice, those retailer won't patronize those that deal on imported rice and both parties would look inward and patronize state grown rice. kudos to the governor. |

mathy001:I believe he meant no disrespect to any other tribe, BT the other people see igbos and this biafran stuff, the see the Igbos as a laper that needs help. and when words fly people get pushed to the wall, and they don't give a damn who is hurting or not. the minorities in the south needs this, and are suppose to be championing this struggle more than the igbos themselve. after the oil u can't go back to fishing, u cant go back to farming, the oil industries will pack up and leave, the land in the south west has not been ruined neither that in the east or not. we u want to get something from a man, u massage his ego. the rest of Nigeria will continue to massage the ego of those in the oil rich region until things dries up, they leave u and me with nothing no good schools no industries no training. BT believe me brother if u do not have 100% resources control in Biafra then u can go to war with the igbos, and I believe u will have the backing of some regional national powers as well as world powers. the Igbo are not after ur oil, we want to leave Nigeria and develop at our own pace. |

mathy001:I don't want to go into this useless argument going on between the both of u. yo both fight over nothing like market women. now phobia the map shows that Igbo has stretched a lending hand toward those region in and around it. this is our collective fight, u have gained nothing Nigeria yet they give u a reason to destroy ur own land after ur waters has been destroyed. am worried about the Niger delta as a whole, u can't get water from ur water ways and now the land is been soiled with oil. getting water via borehole will be another issue entirely. when the oil dries up everyone will go their separate ways, I pray the Niger delta will not be in ruin before then. in Nigeria u can't fight the 3 major ethnic group, BT in Biafra all minority with combined force can go toe to toe with the Igbo If ever they feel shortchanged. yo okay to call Igbo names call them anything u want. all I urge u to do is to think. 2 Likes |

pazienza:that the only colonial map that covers both the Igbo and Ibibio territory. BT this is the map of Igboland. and please stop arguing with that guy, yo more matured than that. those who know ur worth would love to align with u. I am also an advocate the republic of Igboland. BT am still keeping my finger crossed on the awka-cross region.

jasysandra:are u from asaba, if yes then I understand ur pain. BT u should know that the people that have suffered the highest discrimination in igboland are the mbaise's. discrimination or not this struggle is what binds the Igbo larger society. I have friends from asaba & agbor. if u take a look at those discriminating, u will find out that it either those that learned trade that has no wide scope of the Igbo region apart from the 5 state, these are the kind of people that believes that Igbos can only be found in the 5 core Igbo states. I for one never believed that there was any Igbo in any other states asides from the 5 Igbo states, that was when I was much younger. so u see it easier for the small to notice the big, than for the big to notice the small. the igboid groups in the south south know more about the igboid groups in the south east because they constitute the small, while those in the south east constitute the big. don't be angry when these things happens, it ball down to the ignorance of a few. sorry if their attitude hurts u in any way. 8 Likes |

pazienza:I subscribe to ur school of thought, it like u took the whole word out of my mouth, even if the ijoid and uhrobo were to join the train, I think they have the population to fight off this their imaginary Igbo domination, now with Biafra u have only the igbos as ur imaginary problem, which I don't think will ever come to fruition because igbos don't care about who is leading the country, provided yo fair and just. not Nigeria where u have to slug it out, with other major and minor ethnic groups, the Parliament will be equal on both sides. resource control will speed up development in and around those communities where mineral resources are found. there is enough gas in the south east. we have human resources are keen on making things happen. I don't think the Igbo will dominate the south south region, because we have equal population if not more on the south south to checkmate the Igbo if need be. 6 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: 2019: Buhari Woos South-east With Capital Projects by OMAR12: 12:58pm On Nov 20, 2016 |
I think the president is just trying to make the south west jealous, the south west shouldn't go into panic mood. if this project where to be for real then I commend the president. like a man said it either Biafra or true federalism. one pretty thing about regionalism is that, we won't have to point fingers at the man at the center BT rather, our regional leaders. we won't have to blame anyone but ourselves instead of blaming others, regionalism would also encourage healthy competition and put the brains in all region to work on how to woo investors. |
